Fans of Final Fantasy Tactics can dig back into the gameplay with a new look at Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles So much has been pouring out of Gamescom over the last few weeks, and now we get to see just how Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles is going to play out there soon. Not that fans of the IP would not already know this, as this is just Square Enix remastering a classic title and releasing it on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC. Sure, there are a load of gamers out there now who have not experienced Final Fantasy Tactics before, so there is that, but there are so many new things we need to see in this collection to see if it will be worth it on September 30th. Get ready to Return To Silent Hill, as the film now has a release date and we have a new look at the foggy Silent Hill It has been such a while since we had the first little tease that Return To Silent Hill was on the way to theatres and taking fans back into the foggy nightmare. Not that we have not had some great video games to do the same, as Konami holds onto that IP so very strongly. But, not everyone out there is a gamer, and some want to have that Silent Hill experience that they have had a bit of already with a few other films out there. Which is why it is fun to announce that we have something new for the film to look at as we all gear up to see it in theaters on January 26th, 2026. Read More...

A new horror title, Mr Wonder, is on the way to us with a demo for Mr Wonder and a commentary on our society It feels like it took a bit longer than it should, but here we go with some fun commentary on humanity with a new horror title of Mr Wonder. If the name sounds suspiciously close to some famous YouTuber, there is a reason for that. In fact, Fume Software is making the claim of making a video game that is a horror mix-up of Mr Beast and Squid Games. Even if it does feel like there is a bit more SAW in the mix, from what we have seen so far. Read More...

Walk further into the world of Cronos, and see where the horrors started in the universe of Cronos: The New Dawn I was a little worried that Bloober Team was only going to show off a little bit for Cronos: The New Dawn during Gamescom. Something we had when the show first kicked off, but now we are back with even more to get us all ready for the September 5th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A whole lot of new gameplay to further immerse us into the world of Cronos and show off where all of the horrors seem to have begun. As long as you are brave enough to enter the Factory here and maybe check out the gameplay to see how things will be different than other games this one has been compared to. Read More...

A new look at the ray tracing Dying Light: The Beast will have is out of Gamescom, and we see how this will further light up the world of Dying Light Just when you thought we would get more to see for Dying Light: The Beast ahead of the September 19th release out there, we get another small look at the visuals of the game. Not exactly what I would have thought we would see out of Gamescom for this, but maybe Techland is saving more surprises for when the game launches. We do not know. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one of those weeks that we knew was going to be big for video games with Gamescom taking place, and it did not disappoint. We had a whole lot of new titles announced, like Halloween and Black Myth: Zhong Kui. We also had some updates to other games like Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, Silent Hill f, and Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 as well. Video games that run the whole genre list out there, and there are still so many more things we have yet to get to this week. Read More...

New gameplay for Directive 8020 is here from Gamescom, while we have a slight delay for Directive 8020 now I do hope that you did not have your heart set on getting to experience Directive 8020 this coming October, as it looks like there is now a bit of a delay for the game. One that is going to push it into 2026 for an unnamed release date now. That is part of the news that crawled out of Gamescom 2025 and was a little overshadowed by other things. Maybe a good call for Supermassive Games to do that, but worth noting for those who were looking for more horror on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Fans of Black Myth will be excited to know, we are getting a sequel in the terms of Black Myth: Zhong Kui Talk about a way to shock crowds during the opening of Gamescom this year, by announcing that we are getting Black Myth: Zhong Kui. The next title in the line that won so many awards after Game Science brought it to the world last year. That title being Black Myth: Wukong, if you somehow missed that. It looks as if all of the awards, clout, and praise gamers have given that game made it so a new title could be greenlit. Read More...

See Styx in action again, with the first bit of gameplay for the upcoming Styx: Blades Of Greed out of Gamescom One always has to love when new gameplay sneaks its way out to us, and who better to do that than a master of stealth with Styx: Blades Of Greed. The third main title in the line that Cyanide Studios is working on, and now we have a small taste of what might be changed up when Nacon brings the title to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Fall. Not a whole lot of time between now and then, and there are still a bunch of questions still out there for this new Styx. So, let us shed some light on just how the game is going to flow, and then maybe see if we can see some of the newer gameplay options or mechanics that we are going to have in the mix. Read More...

Just a bit before the launch of Cronos: The New Dawn, we have a new taste of what Cronos: The New Dawn is going to offer up Just as we get closer to the launch of Cronos: The New Dawn, we are getting a new look at the new breed of horror on the way to us all. September 5th is not too far off for us to see if Bloober Team is going to make another massive hit on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. It does feel like they have a good record in all of this. Which is why it is fun to see that Gamescom is offering up a new and cinematic look at Cronos: The New Dawn and why we should give it a chance. Read More...

The final release date for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is finally set, with Bloodlines 2 launching very soon By the gods… I, and many others, thought this day would never come, but here we are with the official release date for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Yes, it is finally releasing, and this release date update is not to tell us that The Chinese Room is going to need more time. In fact, in just about two months from Gamescom, we will be able to head into the World Of Darkness with the game. Read More...

New gameplay for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 is out from Gamescom, with us seeing some returning things for Black Ops 7 I do not think it would be a Gamescom if we did not have some big news for the next Call Of Duty title right out the gate, and here we go for the upcoming Black Ops 7. The next big title that Treyarch has been working on since we had the announcement a little while back. Now that we are getting closer to the beta dates and the official release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, it only makes sense that we have some gameplay. Read More...

Rush into the brutal gunplay of Better Than Dead, with a new bodycam shooter that Better Than Dead will be giving us all The run of bodycam games keeps on flowing, as we get to see Better Than Dead making its way on out there now. Unlike the others, though, this one looks as if it is moving down a different genre than we have seen in the others before now. Something that I am sure MicroProse will be amped to show off with Better Than Dead leaning more to the FPS and action side of things instead of the usual horror bits we have had before now. As long as you are truly in the market to get a new bodycam title on the PC. Read More...

The official release date for Bad Cheese is now set, and we will get to see if Bad Cheese will spoil us all with new horrors soon It looks like we have a few bits of good news here for Bad Cheese as we get ready to see how this one will spoil a beloved IP now that it has hit the open market out there. This is the horror title that Simon Lukasik has been working on since Steamboat Willie hit the public domain and with Feardemic helping to bring it to market. Originally, Bad Cheese was only slated for the PC and PS5, but now, on September 1st, we will see the game released out there on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2. Read More...
