Black Flag
Raise the black flag on the PS5 Pro, with many new enhancements on the way to that version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
In just a few weeks, we are all going to be able to hit the age of piracy again with the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. No, this is not an endorsement to hit the digital high seas, but to head back into the age that Ubisoft gave us so long ago with the new version of the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this July 9th. A voyage that all Assassin’s Creed fans might enjoy a little more on the PS5 Pro. As long as all of the extra little features that version of the game will have you gearing up to hit the high seas over on that platform. Let us have a look at what will be there on that version, and if that will be where you will be burying your treasure when the game launches out there again.
While all of this sounds like it will be the next big thing in immersion for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, here we get a quick look at the rundown of the visual upgrades that will be coming to the game. Still impressive, but not selling me much on the level of immersion into the game. Ray-Tracing, Specular Reflections, and Super Resolution are fun, but not much in the way of giving me a better feel for the game. Especially when all of this will require gamers to have the latest and greatest audio-visual setups at home to run Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on top of the PS5 Pro system. I know that there are some out there who do have that setup, but it is worth noting that what you can see below might not be what you have on the day the game launches. At least in terms of your hardware, as all of these things will be in the game from the start. I only wish that we had more of the PS5 hardware features getting used for the game, but there is no mention of the controller doing more than the basic feedback. We will see, though.

Will you be raising the black flag in a few weeks, or will you be holding off to see how well this remaster of a game sets sail before then? Would it be nice to have a few other features added in that do not require expensive home entertainment systems, or should we all just be assumed to have those at this point? Will there be some new hidden features in the game that we have yet to hear about, or will the controllers just offer the same basic updates that we have had in all other remasters out there? Let us have that discussion down in the comment section. Given that this is one of our favorites in the IP, we will be watching out for more to come for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced up to its launch. So please watch the website and all of our social channels to see when we have more to share for it. If anything, this will be a great title to get new players into the game once more, and give us a new age of piracy out there.
