There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Walk Us Behind The Scenes With New Gameplay

No Ghosts At The Grand

See some of the new gameplay coming for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, and learn what it takes to make it through There Are No Ghosts At The Grand

Things are starting to flow out even more for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, as we have a little more of the gameplay to take in, along with a fun behind-the-scenes interview to help give us all a little more context to what is going on in the game. Not that Friday Sundae has not already done a wonderful job with all of that. It is just nice to get something new to look at and explain why we are going to have so many musical numbers in There Are No Ghosts At The Grand. I mean, beyond it adding a bit of whimsy into the world and giving us songs we can play with. Yes, we will get to participate in these songs and not just have to sit through them while waiting for the next renovation project we have to tackle in the game. Let us all see how that is going to work out there.

In the following two videos that we have for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, we get to see a little more on how our protagonist will be moving about the world. Chris has just received The Grand from an estranged father, and originally sets out to fix it up. At least on the surface. As it turns out, Chris is also out there to do a bit of investigation along the way, while also taking the thirty days and nights to make sure the Lovecraftian creatures stay on their side of the realms. That will all be done using some fancy new tech that will also chat with us all along the way. That way, we can get a bit more of Chris' story in There Are No Ghosts At The Grand. A story that will also get expanded a bit more as the musical numbers keep coming in the game, and we get to make choices on how Chris responds. Also, in song form, but the different options could change the overall tone, theme, and style of the music. All so we can get the details of the world out of the other characters in it. That should make it all for a bigger production in the end, that is for sure.

There Are No Ghosts At The Grand — Alex Brightman Interview

Check out the interview with Alex Brightman, who plays Chris David in the game. Alex talks about the gameplay, his character, and the tendency to be cast as “bad” guys.

Why do you think everyone will be singing the story in There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, or will the reason just be ignored so we have more whimsy in our lives? Will the talking tech be able to thread the very fine needle of not being annoying, or will it accidentally fall down the line that other games have gone when it comes to this style of storytelling? Will there be a way to play the whole game in a good or dark mode for dialog choices, or will they all just be more of the generic responses with a little different music to go with them? Let us have that discussion further down the page in the comment section. We know we will have more for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand in the coming months, so please follow along with us on the website.
