Halloween: The Game Stalks Us Further Into East Haddonfield For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Halloween A new map for Halloween: The Game is out there, and we get to see more hits to the Halloween IP at large Another map is opening up for Halloween: The Game just ahead of the September 8th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Just a solid way for IllFonic and Gun Interactive to cap off gamescom, as well. A new map that was rather expected, given the IP's setting, but now we get to see it. I will not say live, as this is a nice little aerial fly-through, but a great way to see East Haddonfield for the Halloween universe. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/24/26 — 8/28/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week has come to an end around here, and we had so many video games to look at. Partially due to the fact that gamescom was in full swing, and also due to the fact that we had so many on the verge of release already. Along with the bigger teases that Grand Theft Auto VI and Marvel’s Wolverine were going to have big showings this week before the event actually started. Although, that did leave some fun room for video games like Stage Tour and Final Fantasy VII Revelation to get some bigger announcements during the week. Read More...

Matchmaking Is Getting Slashed Up A Little In Halloween: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Halloween Learn a bit on how Matchmaking is going to work in Halloween: The Game and see how often you can be the Boogeyman for Halloween We are under two weeks out from Halloween: The Game landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with a whole lot of hype starting to build for it all. Even if it is following the same structure that we have seen from IllFonic in other horror IPs, this one is getting a little more of a shakeup. Not just because we are getting a single-player mode for Halloween: The Game, but now it looks as if Gun Interactive is pushing forward with a new way to do matchmaking. A way that might make it easier to play as Michael Myers in the game, but it could easily be abused. Read More...

Art The Clown Is Brutally On His Way Back To Halloween Horror Nights
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Halloween Another Halloween staple is on the way back to frighten us all on the tram out at Halloween Horror Nights this year The latest terrifying clown that has swept the horror circles is going to be back out at Halloween Horror Nights this year. Not just in a roaming around the park kind of way, and sadly, not in a specific maze for us to go through in the Universal Parks when things kick off on September 3rd. That feels as if it might be leaving not much else for Art the Clown to do out there, unless you realize that he will be taking over the Terror Tram portion of things out there this year. That way we have many different iterations of the Terrifier IP to walk through, all as we get new tracks from Ice Nine Kills made just for the experience. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Halloween This Halloween is going to have another blast from the past with the Killer Klowns coming to Halloween Horror Nights We have yet another of the mazes on the way to Halloween Horror Nights this year, and it is another fun one we've seen before. The Killer Klowns From Outer Space will be back at the event in Universal Parks out in Hollywood this year, so get your popcorn and cotton candy ready for the fun. Even if that is not part of the fun when it comes to the IP, who's really keeping track of all of that? The Klowns are going to be back for Halloween, and that's the important part. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Halloween Halloween is going to have a much darker tone this year, with more announced for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights It is starting to look as if Halloween Horror Nights is going to be hitting all of the various forms of media out there again, with two more mazes and a new scare zone announced for this year. One from the film side, one from the musical side, and one more from the video game side. Universal Parks are going to be going all over the place, even if they still need to land a good comic book option to keep the momentum going. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of July 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a fun week with so many video games to highlight and get to look out for. Obviously, the big one had to be our review of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Then a lot of things started to flow out there for SDCC this year that we are going to get to cover. Games like Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Marvel's Wolverine, and God Of War Laufey will be out there in terms of big video games, but there are still many others that we have yet to cover on the site. Orange Grove Estates Will Soon Be Physically Terrorized In Halloween
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Halloween An iconic location from the Halloween IP is on display, as we have updates for the physical editions for Halloween: The Game Even though we are still a good way out from Halloween landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this September 8th, it does not mean we cannot go trick-or-treating up and down some streets right now. As long as you are looking to have a nice little look at the Orange Grove Estates that IllFonic has brought to life in the game. The first of the game maps that we can expect to be surviving and stalking around in, as well as one of the iconic locations from the Halloween IP. Read More...

Hellraiser Is Also Going To Be Bring The Pain At Halloween Horror Nights
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Horror Nights Eternal pain will be coming to Horror Nights this year, as we have the announcement that Hellraiser will be joining Halloween Horror Nights This feels like it is going to be a big year for the Hellraiser IP out there, as we're not only getting the new game this October, but it will now be featured in this year's Halloween Horror Nights out at the Universal Parks. Not because of the new video game specifically, but the IP is closing in on that 40-year mark, so it feels like Pinhead and the Cenobites should be roaming the parks and showing us all so many more sights in the haunts they will have. All of this is to say, the IP will have its foothold at Horror Nights, and the interactive media will make sure we are celebrating the IP in the best way. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/8/26 — 6/12/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been one wild week here for video games, and we need to place a solid pin in it, or we are going to lose our minds. We have not even been able to catch up to all of the massive announcements and reveals that have come out, and there is still so much more. We had more for Stage Tour coming out, the reveals and gameplay for Halloween and Resident Evil Veronica, and then a little more for Kingdom Hearts IV drop as well. And those are only a few of the video games that we had a chance to get to during the week here. Read More...

Michael Myers Is Picking Up The Knife In Single Player For Halloween
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 8th of June 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween The single player mode for Halloween is on display to give us a feel for how that will play out when Halloween starts We have had the multiplayer look at Halloween, and now we have a solid update on how the single-player part of the game will flow out there. The bigger selling point for so many when IllFonic and Gun Interactive said that the game would have a true single-player mode on top of the asymmetric multiplayer modes that can get rather repetitive quickly. This is something that a few other titles have tried before, and with September 8th not as far off as many might think, this could be the biggest selling point for Halloween when it is ready for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. At least for the audience that currently has so many options for the style of play, or has watched as all of the others have been shut down in rather quick timelines. Read More...

Stalk The Multiplayer Nightmare With A New Overview For Halloween The Video Game
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 26th of March 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Halloween Have a look at the multiplayer aspect of Halloween The Video Game to see just how they are bringing Halloween into a new form It's time to check back in with Halloween The Video Games to see just how multiplayer matches will function in the game. It's exciting to say that, specifically, as IllFonic and Gun Interactive still have plans to give us a true single-player mode too. For now, we're going to focus on the matches and how they are going to function in the 1v4 style. That is, players will be either a Civilian or one will play as Halloween's boogeyman, Michael Myers. Halloween Will Add More Horror To Us All Next Halloween With The New Video Game
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 25th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween The release date for the Halloween video game is now set, and we have a little bit of the gameplay to see for Halloween Usually, it takes a lot longer to get a release date after an announcement like we had for the Halloween video games, but here we are. Wasting no time at all, IllFonic and Gun Interactive will have the game ready for us all on September 8th, 2026. Okay, that is a bit of a wait still, and a little odd to not give us the announcement on Halloween specifically. I am going on a limb and guessing they just wanted to get ahead of things that might be coming for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, well before then. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 21st of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween The horror titles keep going into classic IPs, with Halloween getting a new video game for us all to play to keep the Halloween fun going We have seen a few titles come out in the asymmetric stealth genre for a while now, and it looks as if the classic Halloween is on the way to us in 2026 now. All from the same team that has brought us so many other titles like this, IllFonic and with Gun Interactive helping along the way. All so we can put on our Michael Myers masks and head out to cause all levels of terror. Read More...

by Raymond Bruels [ Thursday, 14th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Horror Unleashed Just ahead of the opening of Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas, NV, the team had a chance to see what Horror Unleashed was going to offer up David was invited out to Universal Horror Unleashed during a small soft opening event before the attraction fully opens up to the public on August 14th. He had a chance to wander about the warehouse, take in some of the sights, some of the scares, food, and drinks. Ray, sadly, did not, but that does not mean they are not here to talk about it all.
