by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We did have a short week around here when it came to video games, but it was still a solidly full week. I will always blame the weird holiday structure that we have to go through, but that is getting way off topic. Especially when we could be talking about the new things for Dead By Daylight and the various things we had for The Backrooms pop up around here. We had the full launch of 007 First Light and also had a chance to test out some music content on the site for you with the Amonklok Tour we had a chance to take in. Read More…

Review — The Amonklok Conquest Tour 2026
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
We were brought out to The Amonklok Conquest Tour in Las Vegas, NV. Here is our experience of the concert & the bands experienced during The Amonklok Conquest Tour Music is a part of so many video games and gaming in general, especially when it comes to the fantasy realms out there. That is why, when we were given the chance to check out The Amonklok Conquest Tour in Las Vegas, NV, we hopped right on board with it. Not only are we fans of Dethklok and Amon Amarth, but the general music vibes also quickly lend quickly into the settings we all know. Not to mention, Dethklok has been a massive staple in the pop culture and communities that blend between the gaming, anime, and others like it. Read More…

T.W.I.R.L. Will Be Pulling Us Out Of Bed This Coming Summer
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 29th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The release window for T.W.I.R.L. is offered up, with another look at what T.W.I.R.L. will be bringing into our homes After all of the massive horror titles we've seen out there, it's time to take it back to a bit more of the indie with T.W.I.R.L. A new horror game from Genie Boy Games that will take us all into the existential nightmares of being a nine-year-old boy. Not something that anyone would normally go to, but it's always fun to get a little retro and see what other stories can be offered into the PC world. Not just as we are playing as such a defenseless character in T. Read More…

Gothic 1 Remake Shows Off The New Combat That We Will Have In Our Hands
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 29th of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind-the-scenes look at the Gothic 1 Remake is here to see how the combat systems have been updated from the original Gothic Things have been very lax around here when it comes to the Gothic 1 Remake, and a few things have evaded our advances. Not from the lack of excitement for what Alkimia Interactive is putting together for us, or getting lost in the sea of titles that THQ Nordic is pumping out there. There's been a lot, and on June 5th, we're going to see one more, and we should all be up to speed on it. Specifically, we should be all caught up on the combat system that the Gothic 1 Remake is going to bring to us, as it is not going to be just the same one we remember from before. Read More…

All with the fun irony that the game is still being built, and it is a walking-sim of a game about a game being built. That is like a dream within a dream kind of thing here. Read More…

A new co-op horror title, Hands Over, is on the way to us all, and Hands Over will test some of those true friendships out there The dark party game trend is coming, as we have Hands Over revealed to us, and it looks as if it is following another trend we have seen in the co-op horror genres as of late. This is the latest title that ArtDock is putting together for us on the PC, and it will have 5 of us sitting around a virtual table, playing random games that seem harmless at first, but always come to a very dark and brutal end for the losers. If Hands Over sounds familiar, it does follow a very recent trend that we've seen in the horror space of video games, but it is truly its own thing. Read More…
