Stupid Never Dies Offers Us All One Big Bite Before The Game’s Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
A new demo for Stupid Never Dies is out there, and it looks to give us much more for Stupid Never Dies than we might have thought The undead are crawling their way out there slightly with a new look at Stupid Never Dies, and a new demo landing on the PS5 and PC. This is, of course, all to build the hype up quite a bit for the October 21st release date that GPTRACK50 has set down for us already. That is neither here nor there at this point, as we just get to reap all of the benefits of the wait and see what Stupid Never Dies a month before the launch. The best part: all of the progress we make in the demo will carry over to the full game. Read More…

by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Mega Man will have his brother Proto Man by his side, as we head into the mix of things in Mega Man: Dual Override When we hear the word Dual in a title like Mega Man: Dual Override, we do expect there to be other playable characters in the mix of things. Yes, Proto Man will be joining Mega Man in this game, and now we get to see just how he's going to handle himself in the game. by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
A new title, Escape From Playtime, is on the way to us all as we learn just how we are going to Escape From Playtime As if Poppy Playtime had not already terrified us all so much already, here we go with the big reveal of Escape From Playtime. A new spin-off title from the larger story that Mob Entertainment has been dealing out to us for a while now, but in a way that might make some of the terror a little bit easier to handle. It could also end up making things worse, as Escape From Playtime is not just another of the walking stealth games that we've had already. No, this is a new co-op online experience that is going to task us all with just what the title says. Read More…

New Chemicals Are Leaking Into The World Of The Outlast Trials
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
The next event is here for The Outlast Trials, and we have chemicals leaking further into the Boneyard of The Outlast Trials Murkoff just does not know how to hold back, as we have a new event out there for The Outlast Trials on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is another of the limited-time events that Red Barrels has been offering up for a while, and this one is easily called the Chemical Leak. So, that is not me trying to offer up a fancy way of leading us all into the next big event for The Outlast Trials, but more about getting us ready for the various gases and things we are going to need to survive in the midst of all of the other challenges we are going to have. I will stop gilding the lily here, and get us right into the horrors that this asymmetrical survival horror title is continuously offering up to our world out there. Read More…

Marvel’s Wolverine Is Showing Off How He Is The Best There Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
One more look at Marvel’s Wolverine is here to show us how Wolverine is the best that there is in the world We are now officially one week out from the launch of Marvel’s Wolverine on September 15th for the PS5, and the hype needs to start building up. Not that we have not had a bunch out there from Insomniac Games up to now, but we are getting close to the wire, and we have only had so much to look at for the game. Even if that does mean that we are going to have a lot more to experience once the game goes live, we all need our games now. That is something I have seen many times over in this community, and with Wolverine being as massive of a character out there, it would only make sense. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 8/31/26 — 9/4/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. Halloween: The Game certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the Resident Evil movie, Until Dawn 2, and Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of Maneater 2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. Read More…

Street Fighter Kicks Us In The Face With Some Of The Game's Silliness
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
One new trailer for the Street Fighter movie is out there, and it brings all of the weirdness of the Street Fighter IP After having so many serious movies out there as of late based on video games, it is almost time for us all to have some silly fun with Street Fighter. Well, after we have to wait another month for it to hit theaters on October 16th, but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun right now. In fact, we have a new trailer for the movie out there in the wild, and it is showing off how the cast and crew are going to be taking the whole IP closer to the absurdity of the Street Fighter games rather than trying to make something truly serious. This is a game that has a guy with stretchy arms, another with a foot-tall buzz cut, and another green monster fighting real fighters out there, so it's aimed to be a little absurd. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The release window for SPINE is now set down, and we will be able to play with this new SPINE next summer It feels like SPINE lands in the zeitgeist and then falls off so often, but that does not mean the game is still not coming. In fact, during gamescom, we had a small announcement pop up from Nekki in the middle of it all, so it could bring out more for the game. Not just in the way of a new video to look at, which we have below, but also in the way of when we can expect the Gun Fu title to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. It is not any time truly soon, but still something to mark down and get further excited for SPINE out there. Read More…

The choice isn't specifically whether we're going to want to play the game, or whether we want to see where Firesprite is going to take the IP, but that is part of it. No. In this instance, we have to make the choice on if we are going to pre-order Until Dawn 2 now, and which bundle of the game we are going to shell out our cash for. Read More…
