New Chemicals Are Leaking Into The World Of The Outlast Trials
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
The next event is here for The Outlast Trials, and we have chemicals leaking further into the Boneyard of The Outlast Trials Murkoff just does not know how to hold back, as we have a new event out there for The Outlast Trials on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is another of the limited-time events that Red Barrels has been offering up for a while, and this one is easily called the Chemical Leak. So, that is not me trying to offer up a fancy way of leading us all into the next big event for The Outlast Trials, but more about getting us ready for the various gases and things we are going to need to survive in the midst of all of the other challenges we are going to have. I will stop gilding the lily here, and get us right into the horrors that this asymmetrical survival horror title is continuously offering up to our world out there. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation is now set, and we get to see how classic Final Fantasy is coming back to this IP It feels as if we just had a little tease for when we could expect to see Final Fantasy VII Revelation pull into the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, and now we are back to having an official release date for the game. Square Enix does not seem to be messing around when it comes to this one, even if the Collector's Edition sold out faster than anyone expected. That is a different topic, as the big one is that we will all see Final Fantasy VII Revelation landing out there on April 8th of 2027. Read More…

Marvel’s Wolverine Is Showing Off How He Is The Best There Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of September 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
One more look at Marvel’s Wolverine is here to show us how Wolverine is the best that there is in the world We are now officially one week out from the launch of Marvel’s Wolverine on September 15th for the PS5, and the hype needs to start building up. Not that we have not had a bunch out there from Insomniac Games up to now, but we are getting close to the wire, and we have only had so much to look at for the game. Even if that does mean that we are going to have a lot more to experience once the game goes live, we all need our games now. That is something I have seen many times over in this community, and with Wolverine being as massive of a character out there, it would only make sense. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 8/31/26 — 9/4/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. Halloween: The Game certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the Resident Evil movie, Until Dawn 2, and Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of Maneater 2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. Read More…

Street Fighter Kicks Us In The Face With Some Of The Game's Silliness
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
One new trailer for the Street Fighter movie is out there, and it brings all of the weirdness of the Street Fighter IP After having so many serious movies out there as of late based on video games, it is almost time for us all to have some silly fun with Street Fighter. Well, after we have to wait another month for it to hit theaters on October 16th, but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun right now. In fact, we have a new trailer for the movie out there in the wild, and it is showing off how the cast and crew are going to be taking the whole IP closer to the absurdity of the Street Fighter games rather than trying to make something truly serious. This is a game that has a guy with stretchy arms, another with a foot-tall buzz cut, and another green monster fighting real fighters out there, so it's aimed to be a little absurd. Read More…

SPINE Is Getting Installed On Us All In The Summer Of 2027
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The release window for SPINE is now set down, and we will be able to play with this new SPINE next summer It feels like SPINE lands in the zeitgeist and then falls off so often, but that does not mean the game is still not coming. In fact, during gamescom, we had a small announcement pop up from Nekki in the middle of it all, so it could bring out more for the game. Not just in the way of a new video to look at, which we have below, but also in the way of when we can expect the Gun Fu title to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. It is not any time truly soon, but still something to mark down and get further excited for SPINE out there. Read More…

The pre-orders are open for Until Dawn 2, and we have a little look at the choices we are going to make in Until Dawn 2 It's time to start making some choices out there for Until Dawn 2, as the game is coming to us all on January 28th, 2027, for the PS5. The choice isn't specifically whether we're going to want to play the game, or whether we want to see where Firesprite is going to take the IP, but that is part of it. No. In this instance, we have to make the choice on if we are going to pre-order Until Dawn 2 now, and which bundle of the game we are going to shell out our cash for. Read More…

See just how Mega Man is going to handle it, and some of his friends coming to aid in Mega Man: Dual Override We're about to get overridden out there with some new gameplay for Mega Man: Dual Override that came fresh from gamescom this year. The IP is carrying onward, and Capcom is looking to always evolve it, as it seems, and here we go with a new look at how that is going to go down. Not just with a look at how Mega Man is going to jump, shoot, dash, and slide throughout the world, but also some of the allies that will be at his side. A new story video for Turok: Origins is here to give us a taste of the coming world and how we will be Turok It is time to dive back into the setting and story of Turok: Origins, as gamescom has brought us one more look at the game as we all wait to see when it is going to land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. Halloween: The Game Stalks Us Further Into East Haddonfield For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
A new map for Halloween: The Game is out there, and we get to see more hits to the Halloween IP at large Another map is opening up for Halloween: The Game just ahead of the September 8th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Just a solid way for IllFonic and Gun Interactive to cap off gamescom, as well. A new map that was rather expected, given the IP's setting, but now we get to see it. I will not say live, as this is a nice little aerial fly-through, but a great way to see East Haddonfield for the Halloween universe. Read More…
