Yes, it looks as if Croteam still has more to show us and to tell us with this IP, and we are all going to have to solve even more next year. We are finally able to launch into space with a new horror experience, as Directive 8020 has finally hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in its full form. We had a chance to see all that Supermassive Games had to offer in this latest outing into The Dark Pictures Anthology to see if we can still scream in space. The Early Access for Better Than Dead is finally here, and we can get a solid feel for what Better Than Dead will be bringing us all It is time to take aim and head into the world of bodycam video games, with Better Than Dead having its Early Access kicking off on the PC. It is understandable if you have been lost in which one this is, but we will remind you that it is from Monte Gallo and MicroProse that we have seen in the past. The first look at the gameplay for The Sinking City 2 is here, and it looks to advance all we knew from The Sinking City After what felt like so much silence for The Sinking City 2, we are finally here to see some of the true gameplay we can expect in the game. Not that Frogwares has been completely silent about it all, but there has yet to be anything more than the pre-rendered cinematic to let us know that this sequel is in the works. Not even a little bit on how, or if, they were going to change much from the formula that seemed to work in The Sinking City the first time around. We are finally on the case out there, with the launch of Mouse: P.I. For Hire for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A title that started as a basic little proof of concept so very long ago, and now Fumi Games has it on the market so we can see if that concept truly pans out. Things are getting further enhanced in Conan Exiles, with a new & free version launching with Conan Exiles Enhanced It is crazy to think that it has been eight years since Conan Exiles landed out there, but it has. A fun little title that took the IP further and allowed Funcom to offer us all a survival game in this fantasy setting. Even though it had some rough edges when it dropped, and a lot of silliness that came out of those years, they stuck with it and kept the title going. Head further behind the scenes for Control Resonant to see how different the world will be from the one of Control There has been a whole lot of focus, as of late, on the location that we are going to be flying around in when Control Resonant lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In fairness, Remedy has been fairly forthcoming about the fact that we are hitting the streets and getting to take on all of the creatures and factions in Manhattan. Not the most ideal place for us to be able to save the world, but it falls in line with what Control has given us up to now. A title that X Interactive and Dionous Games have been toiling away on for the PC to give us another first-person horror experience. There are many, but this one seems to have us being led around by a mysterious voice in our head. It is almost time to see how LAG KILLS, with a new playtest starting very soon for those interested in LAG KILLS It hit many of us out of nowhere, and now LAG KILLS is on the way to hit us in a different way with an open playtest for the game. One that will help Deranged Games iron out some of the kinks on the PC, but also give players so many chances to see if they have what it takes to survive the angry gamer we are going to be facing.
