Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to mark another week down out there, and then get ready to play all of those video games that have launched or the ones that are on the verge of launching. Review — Gloomy Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Gloomy Eyes We sit down and review Gloomy Eyes. A twisted adventure-puzzle game, with some Burton whimsy. Here is our review of half of Gloomy Eyes It certainly took a little bit of extra time, but we finally saw Gloomy Eyes land on the consoles and flat screen formats, along with an upcoming physical edition of the game this Halloween. A nice little puzzle platforming game that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales has for us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All to give us some new and creepy fun with a bit of that Tim Burton feel to the world out there. Read More...

It’s Time For Us All To Have A Meeting With Dr. Selina Tan In 007 First Light
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
007 It is time to meet 007's Tactical Simulations overseer, who will be putting us through some paces in 007 First Light Given that we are still in the early years as Bond still needs to earn the number in 007 First Light, it is not shocking that we are going to have some new faces in the mix of things. Not just with how James looks, but so IO Interactive can build out more of the world and give us newer things to do than just head out on missions. In this instance, we are getting to meet Dr. Read More...

Halloween Will Add More Horror To Us All Next Halloween With The New Video Game
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 25th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween The release date for the Halloween video game is now set, and we have a little bit of the gameplay to see for Halloween Usually, it takes a lot longer to get a release date after an announcement like we had for the Halloween video games, but here we are. Wasting no time at all, IllFonic and Gun Interactive will have the game ready for us all on September 8th, 2026. Okay, that is a bit of a wait still, and a little odd to not give us the announcement on Halloween specifically. I am going on a limb and guessing they just wanted to get ahead of things that might be coming for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, well before then. Read More...

Marvel’s Wolverine Slices Things Up With Some Brutal Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolverine The Wolverine is getting one step closer to a launch, with a whole lot of new gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine It feels like it has been such a long time since we had the announcement of Marvel’s Wolverine, close to four years since we had the reveal, and now we are finally ready to see some of that gameplay the game will have. We know that Insomniac Games has the ability to nail it all in that regard, and given how they set the tone with just the reveal trailer, there are high hopes that everything will flow just as smoothly as their previous titles. Thankfully, we do not have to wait long to see that gameplay, as we have a solid bit here. Read More...

The Hunt Is On For The Next Clan In Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 24th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The Banu Haqim is here for Bloodlines 2, as we have another of the playable clans shown off for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Death is going to be a little more silent in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, with the Banu Haqim clan stepping up for the next showcase. This would be the next clan that The Chinese Room has to offer up as a playable one in the mix, and another of the combat-oriented ones out there. They are known to be the vampire assassins in the World Of Darkness, so it feels like it tracks. Read More...

Painkiller Makes All Of Our Deaths An Endless Cycle
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 23rd of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Painkiller Painkiller is taking us further into Purgatory, with a new roguelike mode designed for Painkiller The realm of Purgatory is getting a little larger in Painkiller when it launches. Either larger, or we are falling under the illusion of it all, with a new roguelike gameplay mode that Anshar Studios and 3D Realms will be packing into the game at launch. A mode that I am sure will have a whole lot of gamers spending more time within Painkiller than we might have expected when October 21st hits us all. That is when the game is launching out there still, so it makes sense. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is finally over, and we can now move along to all of those video games we have been putting off during the week. Maybe even test a few out that have some new demos or Early Access going on right now. Unless you are all truly holding out for titles like Bloodlines 2, Dispatch, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 or Alien: Rogue Incursion to launch out there instead. I mean, those are some solid video games, but not something that feels like we all need to hold out from the other fun ones until then. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Will Have The Lasombra & Toreador In The Base Game
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 17th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The DLC clans for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will now be part of the core version of Bloodlines 2, with some new expansions It looks like all of the howling into the night we did for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 and the DLC clans have finally paid off. No longer will the Lasombra and Toreador be paid DLC, but it looks as if The Chinese Room has gone through the effort to rework things and make them part of the base game now. Now, we have our options to choose from six different clans for Phyre to head off into the night, with the potential of more down the line for Bloodlines 2. As long as the game does well after its release on October 21st for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...
