Perceptum — Console Announcement
Duck Reaction and publisher Perp Games are announcing that Perceptum will additionally launch across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2027.
An atmospheric nightmare
Discomfort sits at the core of Perceptum, a psychological horror where you play as a Medium assisting with the inexplicable disappearance of a family. The police have abandoned the case, and with no leads to go on, it’s up to you to find out what happened. Left with an empty house and an oppressive, ominous atmosphere, prepare to step into the unknown with no way to fight back.
Solve it to believe it
Search for clues and solve puzzles using only two things in your arsenal; your mirror and the ability to home in on sounds by closing your eyes. Revealing what cannot be seen with the naked eye by using the mirror will unveil hidden traces and entities desperate to be known. Vulnerability never wanes in Perceptum. Distant whispers and strange noises will guide your way deeper into the mystery.
Something wicked this way comes
Ever get the feeling you’re being watched? This is the inescapable atmosphere that will lure your curiosity. The house feels your every move, and the mirror is a constant, dangerous reminder. When the truth finally steps into the reflection, you will realize just how defenceless you truly are. Question every noise, curtain twitch, and shadow as you might not be alone. Trust your instincts, stay calm, and pay attention to every detail.
Have you had a chance to wander about Perceptum on the PC yet, or will you be holding out for the console release now that it is coming? Will there be much of a difference between the platforms, or will it still all boil down to the hardware that we can all afford out there? How far into 2027 do you think that we are going to have to wait, and will this be a weird release at the beginning of the year, like many horror titles seem to do? Let us have those thoughts and voices down in the comments to discuss. There is going to be more for Perceptum as the development carries forward, so please come back to the website to see and hear about all of that. You might also want to follow all of our social channels to see when all of this goes live; that way, you might never miss out on a single update that we have here.
