A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, it was a shorter week for us, given that we just made it all back from SDCC. That did not mean we did not have a whole lot to share out there for the week in video games and all of the other aspects, just that we had such little time. Especially as we are getting everything from Peacefest and Peacemaker out there from SDCC 2025, as well as our fun from the Clown In A Cornfield Experience we had to do. That was not even the video games that were offered out there with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival having the announcement and Toxic Crusaders finally getting a release date. Read More...

The console announcement for Beneath is officially here, so even more players can see the horrors flowing up from Beneath Maybe I have gone a little mad, as I thought this was something that was announced before, but it does look as if Beneath will be getting a console release for the game when it launches now. Maybe this was something teased before, and Camel 101 was not able to fully confirm at the time, but I was fairly certain the Lovecraftian Shooter was hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it launches this year. All of that said, it is now confirmed, and it looks like this version of Beneath will also have a few of those fun little extras that the consoles are known to bring along with them when games launch out there. Hellraiser fans can start to lose their minds with the announcement of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival clawing into our eyes soon Another horror IP is getting a full game made for it as we have the announcement for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? Before you get all worried like we have with the other IPs that have come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this one is not going to be an asymmetric title for once. Read More...

The release date for Toxic Crusaders is finally set, and we can be joining the Toxic Crusaders in the fight before the holiday season So much has been going on in the whirl of SDCC, and it looks like we almost missed the announcement of when we would be able to experience what Toxic Crusaders has in store for us. There was even a little panel about all of the Troma stuff out there where Retroware had a bit of the game on display. Not much we have not already seen, but there was one little key element of it all that was tucked right in there. Read More...

A beast of a character from Invincible is on the prowl with Battle Beast entering the fight for Invincible VS Grab your mace and get ready for a fight with Invincible VS bringing us all Battle Beast for the fight. A character that I am pretty sure we all knew was coming since his whole schtick is fighting and causing levels of violence in the world. It would have been a truly odd thing if Skybound Games left the beast out of the game, but here we are ready to praise it all. For the glory and honor of the fight, and now we get to see just how Battle Beast will function in Invincible VS when it does come to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Read More...

We had a chance to experience a Clown In A Cornfield out at SDCC to further hype up Clown In A Cornfield from Shudder Talk about all of the experiences we had out at SDCC 2025, but one that hit the top of our lists to check out was what Shudder brought out for Clown In A Cornfield. A film that we have all had the chance to see before now, and is getting a hard push once more for the streaming aspect now that it has had its theatrical run. All through a fun little corn maze that added in some great haunted house elements, and ended with a little bit of an escape room feel at the end. Read More...

Many new comics from Z2 Comics will be on display at SDCC, and Z2 Comics will also bring us some exclusive signings on site There have been a whole lot of things coming out to SDCC that have not been comic-specific, but here we go with some fun news from Z2 Comics that will lean more into the comics. All of that and the various other musical and other aspects we have been digging into as of late. Obviously, with news that Z2 Comics will be out at SDCC 2025, with all of their wares to show off. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week full of video games and so many things for SDCC this year. We have not even been able to make it into the week of the con yet, and we already have so much pumping out for it. Things like Peacefest and the Adult Swim experiences going down will be fun. After a long run, Marvel Rivals is on the way back to SDCC to give us more for Marvel Rivals and some extras for fans Many of us learned about Marvel Rivals at SDCC last year and at SDCC where they gave out a bunch of fun little beta codes to let some of us have a shot at the game. If you have been following along here since then, you might have had a chance to play with us and have one of those codes. Here we are at year two since launch, and many seasons since, and NetEase Games is on the way back to SDCC 2025 to offer up more to those still playing the game and more. Read More...

RoboCop is kicking off those final missions to end all of the Unfinished Business left out there in RoboCop: Rogue City It is time to blow more of the doors off and finish some business out there in Robocop: Rogue City. That is, the latest expansion DLC for the game is finally launching out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Teyon offering up so much more for the game and the story. A story that is a bit more canon to the universe than many might think. Also, a solid way to give us more to play in RoboCop: Rogue City with a slew of new enemies, weapons, and the ability to play around with ED-209 in the game. Read More...

Another puzzle game, Liminal Exit, is on the way to us, with Liminal Exit having us avoid bliss at all costs You have to love how many times we get to walk into a liminal space and need to escape, as we have another one on the way to us with Liminal Exit. Another in walking simulation titles out there that are using the concept to give us some fun puzzles to solve. At least when LittleRedDread is done putting the final touches on the PC title. Then we will get to defy some logic and try to escape the world that we will find ourselves in. Read More...

The Mall has opened up in Outlast with the latest update that has made its way out for The Outlast Trials The fourth season of trials are opening up now for The Outlast Trials. The latest update has hit the game, and Red Barrels is keeping all of the horror rolling on out there for us. With all of the nightmares we have seen before now and a few extra things that we might not have known before in the world of Outlast. It is a terrifying place, and there are so many things we should be afraid of. Do not let any of that dissuade you from grabbing the DLC on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though.
