Get ready to head into The Friendly Neighborhood again, with the console release date for My Friendly Neighborhood It has taken a good bit of time, but here we go with the console release date for My Friendly Neighborhood. It has been two years since DreadXP gave us this different take on the Mascot Horror genre of video games on the PC. A long time, indeed, but that is all coming to an end for it being the only platform to play on. The PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will soon see the horrors of My Friendly Neighborhood on July 17th. Read More...

It is time to meet Vex for Borderlands 4, with a look at the Siren’s abilities and reasons why they are in Borderlands 4 The Dark Siren is coming right for us all in Borderlands 4, as we get to see Vex in all the Siren glory out there. Well, as much as is available before Gearbox is able to bring the game to market on September 12th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. They are not going to spoil everything we have for Vex before then, but we do need to see some solid gameplay to experience out there. That is where the new character showcases are coming in. Another Invincible alum is coming to the fight with Rex Splode announced for the upcoming Invincible VS Things are getting a bit more explosive out there for Invincible VS, as we have Rex Splode coming onto the scene of the fight. Another of the staple characters I had a feeling we were going to get in the game, with Skybound Games making the confirmation with a bit of gameplay. Some gameplay that shows off how the character will fight in the game, along with how much of the cockiness that Rex is going to bring over from the pages and screen of Invincible. It would have been a weird choice not to bring that all over, so it is good to see it here. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a week… and one that did not have as many video games to bring up, but so many things to talk about in all of the other realms. A little the norm, with SDCC 2025 about to kick off and all the hype building up to that. Even with the mix of things for Invincible VS and Borderlands 4 out there. We could not just gloss over certain things, like South Park, coming back to the con and the various things The Lodge and Twisted Metal are going to be bringing with them too. Read More...

The Early Access for DEADCAM is finally here and we can all see if the horrors of DEADCAM will live up to the hype Just as quickly as the filming started, the Early Access for DEADCAM is finally here for the PC. Those looking to have a terrifying "found footage" experience can now do so in a way, while also helping out the developer make sure that each of the "recordings" flows well into a grand story. That and to make sure the core gameplay of it all works, as we will need to survive many little encounters in the mix of DEADCAM, and those will be a true test of things too. Even if this is not going to be anywhere near the full game in its current state. Read More...

Yes, after a year on the Xbox Series X|S and PC, GSC Game World is gearing up and bringing it to the other major platform out there. Another Invincible character is flying into the game, and we have another fleshed out more for Invincible VS I did not think that this week was going to ramp up as it is here for Invincible VS, but here we are with yet another update for the game. Maybe it is because it will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC early in 2026, or maybe it is because Skybound Games might be showing it off a little more at SDCC in a few weeks. We are not certain, but we are still pumped to see more for Invincible VS. In this instance, it is another new character for the growing roster as well as a deeper dive into another we have seen already. Read More...

All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. Even if a lot of them might not be the main IPs one would think of, but all under the Disney Entertainment Television banner. Read More...

Death Relives is getting a little more immersive with a new companion app launching alongside the core Death Relives title Here is a fun and unexpected twist coming for Death Relives when it launches on July 25th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We are getting a new little companion to bring along with us into the horror that Nyctophile Studios is building out there. Not a companion in the world that we can throw under the bus, unless we want to pay a lot of extra money, but a new app for the game to further immerse us into the world of Death Relives. Not just with the gameplay, but all of the lore that we will have to dig into with the game as well. Read More...

New assets and Outlast reagents are coming to end us in the next update for The Outlast Trials More of the horrors are coming out there with the next big update for The Outlast Trials. Not just an update that Red Barrels is giving to us for the story, as dark as it has been getting, but a new update that finally gives us a new Prime Asset into the world. Technically, it is two Prime Assets we are getting, but all in one body. An interesting concept and something that is fitting for the Outlast universe, while also making things harder in the game. Let us take a walk on the new planet for Borderlands that we will be getting when Borderlands 4 launches out there We go beyond the usual lands out there with a new look at Borderlands 4. This time we are digging into the planet and world that Gearbox is making to keep the IP going. While I am sure it would have been cheaper for 2K if they just went back to the same locations, players would not really enjoy that. I know I would not have enjoyed that on September 12th when Borderlands 4 is slated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. I am getting off topic, though, so let us take a stroll around Kairos and see who is running and the various factions we are going to need to fight or align ourselves with when the game hits. A deeper dive into Atom Eve from Invincible is here for Invincible VS, and we get so many move sets to look into We might not have a new character to look at for Invincible VS, but we have another deep dive into a character we have seen before. A weird way to spoon-feed us things for the game from Quarter Up and Skybound Games, but something that is keeping things interesting for us. Not to mention, it does show off one of the more popular characters from the Invincible universe as we wait for the game to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Not to mention, it does show us how some of the moves and powers will be used in the game to give us an ending to some of the fights that we have been curious about. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with one more week in the bag and one more filled with all of those wonderful video games we all enjoyed. We even had those two reviews we have been working on for The Alters and Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic. That was on top of getting all of the other news and updates out there for titles like Invincible VS and RoboCop: Rogue City. So many video games and so little time, it feels. Read More...

The release date for Death Relives is officially set, and we can be playing Death Relives before the end of the month The gods are finally rising up, and we have a final release date set down for Death Relives. It was teased, teased again, and now we are finally here with Nyctophile Studios gearing up to release the game. Releasing it insanely soon, with July 25th being the date we can all mark down that the Aztec gods will be swarming our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Much sooner than I would have thought, with how things have been flowing out for Death Relives, but still some good news to have. Read More...

With the launch of Shadow Labyrinth almost here, a new platform is opening the doors for Shadow Labyrinth We are almost there with the launch of Shadow Labyrinth with the game landing on July 18th still. That is why it is an interesting announcement to get now from Bandai Namco that we have another platform for the game to land on and be pre-ordered for. It is no surprise, now, that the platform is the Switch 2. All to add to the growing list of platforms for Shadow Labyrinth with the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...
