Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, it was a shorter week for us, given that we just made it all back from SDCC. That did not mean we did not have a whole lot to share out there for the week in video games and all of the other aspects, just that we had such little time. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? Invincible A beast of a character from Invincible is on the prowl with Battle Beast entering the fight for Invincible VS Grab your mace and get ready for a fight with Invincible VS bringing us all Battle Beast for the fight. A character that I am pretty sure we all knew was coming since his whole schtick is fighting and causing levels of violence in the world. It would have been a truly odd thing if Skybound Games left the beast out of the game, but here we are ready to praise it all. Magic Let's take a trip to MagicCon 2025 and how it pulled me right back into the fun of Magic: The Gathering Magic: The Gathering, that seminal work by Dr. Richard Garfield had a major impact on my life. A high school buddy introduced me to the game around Unlimited Edition, and we would regularly trade Arabian Nights and Antiquities cards. I loved Legends and The Dark, but around Fallen Empires, I started to get disillusioned. Invincible Another Invincible alum is coming to the fight with Rex Splode announced for the upcoming Invincible VS Things are getting a bit more explosive out there for Invincible VS, as we have Rex Splode coming onto the scene of the fight. Another of the staple characters I had a feeling we were going to get in the game, with Skybound Games making the confirmation with a bit of gameplay. Some gameplay that shows off how the character will fight in the game, along with how much of the cockiness that Rex is going to bring over from the pages and screen of Invincible. Invincible Another Invincible character is flying into the game, and we have another fleshed out more for Invincible VS I did not think that this week was going to ramp up as it is here for Invincible VS, but here we are with yet another update for the game. Maybe it is because it will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC early in 2026, or maybe it is because Skybound Games might be showing it off a little more at SDCC in a few weeks.
