Review — Gloomy Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Gloomy Eyes. A twisted adventure-puzzle game, with some Burton whimsy. Here is our review of half of Gloomy Eyes It certainly took a little bit of extra time, but we finally saw Gloomy Eyes land on the consoles and flat screen formats, along with an upcoming physical edition of the game this Halloween. A nice little puzzle platforming game that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales has for us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All to give us some new and creepy fun with a bit of that Tim Burton feel to the world out there. Read More…

It’s Time For Us All To Have A Meeting With Dr. Selina Tan In 007 First Light
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
It is time to meet 007's Tactical Simulations overseer, who will be putting us through some paces in 007 First Light Given that we are still in the early years as Bond still needs to earn the number in 007 First Light, it is not shocking that we are going to have some new faces in the mix of things. Not just with how James looks, but so IO Interactive can build out more of the world and give us newer things to do than just head out on missions. In this instance, we are getting to meet Dr. Read More…

San Diego Comic-Con Through The Eyes Of A Complete Novice To The Experience
by Bri Sullivan [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Have a look at San Dingo Comic-Con through the lens of someone relatively new to the Comic-Con experience from 2025 It’s been a few months since my first Comic-Con, and I’ve had time to reflect on my experience. When I was invited to Comic-Con, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had heard about it from my friends and seen photos during some of the more popular Marvel-heavy Cons, but I had never done much digging into the Con itself. I’ve broken my experience down into the pluses and the minuses, plus a few tips and tricks, with my overall review at the end. Read More…

Halloween Will Add More Horror To Us All Next Halloween With The New Video Game
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 25th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
The release date for the Halloween video game is now set, and we have a little bit of the gameplay to see for Halloween Usually, it takes a lot longer to get a release date after an announcement like we had for the Halloween video games, but here we are. Wasting no time at all, IllFonic and Gun Interactive will have the game ready for us all on September 8th, 2026. Okay, that is a bit of a wait still, and a little odd to not give us the announcement on Halloween specifically. I am going on a limb and guessing they just wanted to get ahead of things that might be coming for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, well before then. Read More…

Marvel’s Wolverine Slices Things Up With Some Brutal Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
The Wolverine is getting one step closer to a launch, with a whole lot of new gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine It feels like it has been such a long time since we had the announcement of Marvel’s Wolverine, close to four years since we had the reveal, and now we are finally ready to see some of that gameplay the game will have. We know that Insomniac Games has the ability to nail it all in that regard, and given how they set the tone with just the reveal trailer, there are high hopes that everything will flow just as smoothly as their previous titles. Thankfully, we do not have to wait long to see that gameplay, as we have a solid bit here. Read More…

People Of Note Reveals To Us A New Way To Win A Song Contest
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 24th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
A new turn-based title, People Of Note, is here to reveal to us how People Of Note will shake things up in the genre with music I do love a good musical, and it seems like we are getting another in the mix of our video games with People Of Note. A new title that Iridium Studios and Annapurna are working for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to release somewhere in 2026. Not just in the vein we have seen other musical titles land out there, but with People Of Note being a turn-based title to allow for all of the songs to flow out there. An interesting choice to give us, when others have been a timed event to make sure that the live music videos, as they are, hit the beats correctly and keep the flow going. Read More…

The Hunt Is On For The Next Clan In Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 24th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
The Banu Haqim is here for Bloodlines 2, as we have another of the playable clans shown off for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Death is going to be a little more silent in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, with the Banu Haqim clan stepping up for the next showcase. This would be the next clan that The Chinese Room has to offer up as a playable one in the mix, and another of the combat-oriented ones out there. They are known to be the vampire assassins in the World Of Darkness, so it feels like it tracks. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
A new demo for Beneath is out there for us all to experience, as we get ready for the chaos to come with Beneath The darkness is starting to crawl up from the deeps, as we have a demo out there for Beneath. A demo, that seems to only be out there on the PC, even as we all wait for the full game to land on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, when Camel 101 is done with it all. That is still set for some time in the Fall here, but that does not mean that some cannot check out what is going on in Beneath. Unless they do not want to be spoiled on any of the ten-hour core game once it is ready. Read More…

Painkiller Makes All Of Our Deaths An Endless Cycle
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 23rd of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Painkiller is taking us further into Purgatory, with a new roguelike mode designed for Painkiller The realm of Purgatory is getting a little larger in Painkiller when it launches. Either larger, or we are falling under the illusion of it all, with a new roguelike gameplay mode that Anshar Studios and 3D Realms will be packing into the game at launch. A mode that I am sure will have a whole lot of gamers spending more time within Painkiller than we might have expected when October 21st hits us all. That is when the game is launching out there still, so it makes sense. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for OD is out there and showing us why we need to truly be afraid to OD It feels like it has been forever since we had the announcement for OD, and now we have a fun new look at the horrors that it will bring us. Just in time for the Halloween season, with how Kojima Productions has planned this out. That or it is just about that time that they show us what this game might be about when it does launch on the PC and Xbox Series X|S in the future. There was not much given to us all the first time we saw OD, so maybe this time we will have a whole lot more to drink in. Read More…

The launch for Silent Hill f is almost here, with us all getting ready to wander back into the world of Silent Hill The world is getting a little creepier out there soon, with the launch we have coming for Silent Hill f. September 25th just seemed to sneak up on us like all of the horrors that NeoBards Entertainment has placed into the game, but that is all an amazing thing. At least for those looking to have a solid Silent Hill experience before, during, and after the Halloween season on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
