The Cinematic Fight Kicks Off In May With Mortal Kombat II Hitting Theaters
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The next film in the new Mortal Kombat line is coming soon, with a new release date out there for Mortal Kombat II in theaters The fight is on this coming May, as we have a new date that we can expect Mortal Kombat II to hit theaters. Only a few months after it was supposed to, but I am sure there's a great reason to push the release out a bit further. Beyond being able to market things more and make sure that it is going to live up to everything that Mortal Kombat fans have been waiting for. Especially after the lukewarm reception to the previous addition to the film version of the IP. Read More...

Musical History Will Be Made Soon With The Release Date For People Of Note
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 23rd of February 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
People Of Note The release date for People Of Note is now set, and we will be taking center stage much sooner than expected with People Of Note The beats are building up, as we are about to have the drop for People Of Note. That is, we have the release date now set for when this turn-based action title from Iridium Studios will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A release date that Annapurna has not set too far out, but one that will allow the beats to build up a bit more with a demo and give us a little more time to learn about the game. All that said, People Of Note will be blasting us with new notes on April 7th if you are ready to take all of that in. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/17/26 — 2/20/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of February 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That puts another week in the bag around here, and one where we made it mostly through the week with so many video games in tow. Even if it did seem as if we had a few rough weeks in the past, we were back with Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill: Townfall, and a new John Wick Game to talk about to catch us all back up. That only scratches the surface of the video games we had to talk about this week, since we also had to play catch-up with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 and 007 First Light after having so many things drop out there in the mix. Even though we had a slowdown, it feels like we are back up to speed. Read More...

The Nightmare Is Ready For Pre-Orders For Resident Evil Requiem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Resident Evil New footage and pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are here, and you can dive deeper into this Resident Evil story now The days are closing in until we are finally able to play Resident Evil Requiem on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. February 27th is just rushing on up to us, and I am sure Capcom is ready to see how we are all going to take the next title in the long-running line of games. Not that the rabid fans of Resident Evil have not already been champing at the bit to get this one home to see if we really needed more Leon in our lives. I am sure we do, but it feels like a missed chance to give us all something completely new and not testing waters with another character while forcing us to watch as a loved one might be coming to an end. Get Caught Up On Things Just Ahead Of The Launch For Styx: Blades Of Greed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of February 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Styx If you need a refresher of the tale of Styx just before the launch of Styx: Blades Of Greed, we have you covered It has been a bit of time between the last few games and the upcoming Styx: Blades Of Greed, so it would make sense if you need a fun little recap of what is going on in the game's world. I know I need it, even though I fell in love with each and played them a few times, and it also looks like Cyanide Studios thinks we deserve a recap. It has been close to nine years since the last time Styx was out there in the world for our enjoyment. Read More...

Enter The Dying Lands With Some New Gameplay For MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
MÖRK BORG The tabletop game, MÖRK BORG, is still heading to the virtual space & here is some gameplay for MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme A darker, heavy metal world is on the way to us with MÖRK BORG Heresy Supreme as Morbidware is bringing the tabletop game to life on the PC. This is not massive news, given that it was announced and successfully funded a bit ago. At least if you are one of the diehard fans of the game and have been watching ever since. What we do have, though, is some new gameplay to look at as it blends the world of MÖRK BORG into a side-scrolling, semi-procedural action RPG for us to survive. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 31st of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally rest now that the week is over and all of those video games have made their way out to us in different ways. Many titles like Dispatch, HELLMART, and The 9th Charnel had their releases this week. We also had a whole lot to look at for High On Life 2 with the developers getting us ready for that launch. Then there were a whole lot of trailers for video games and films based on some of them in the mix too. Read More...

Folklore Hunter Has Geared Us Up For Its Full Release On The PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of January 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Folklore Hunter The launch for Folklore Hunter is here after Folklore Hunter having a very long Early Access phase to development Six years feels like such a long time, but it has finally passed by, and the full launch for Folklore Hunter is here on the PC. We are still going to have to wait a bit longer for Liquid Donkey Games to bring the game to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch, but there is at least some silver lining on the way for all of that. This is a solo developer, as it all so all of this is understandable. We are getting off-topic, though, as we should be focusing on the hunt here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/19/26 — 1/23/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That marks yet another week down, and there were so many indie video games this week. Not a terrible thing, but an interesting thing to take note of, since they generally do not get the highlight out there. Especially when titles like Fable and Life Is Strange: Reunion had some massive news drop out there. Thankfully, they did not overshadow video games like The Run and Annulus as they were brought into the forefront of the lists out there. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 19th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
House Of Horror Let’s enter the House Of Horror that is on the way, with a bit of gameplay for House Of Horror: Outside Is Better Another bit of psychological horror is running onto our PC, with a look at House Of Horror: Outside Is Better. A new title on the way from TakenJoyDesign, which looks to use a winning formula in the genre to take us deeper into some darker terror. As long as you actually have the mental endurance to make the run through it all and see what this House Of Horror will behold. Take that as your first warning that something truly dark is going on here, and there are going to be a few graphic things to see. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 17th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, the week has come to an end once more, and we had some fun with the various video games and films we had announced there. Some big ones like Resident Evil Requiem and Poppy Playtime had some highlights. Then we had a whole lot of smaller titles in the mix with Styx: Blades Of Greed, all to wrap with a good look at the upcoming film The Mortuary Assistant. Even if it was a shorter one around here, but that is on us and not the various video games out there that had something to add. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Showcases The Difference Between Grace & Leon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The latest showcase for Resident Evil Requiem is out there, and it shows how past Resident Evil titles are driving the gameplay Just as we have all been promised, we have a new showcase out for Resident Evil Requiem. Partially to get us hyped up to pre-order the game before Capcom drops it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, and partially to make sure we all know what titles from the past we should be familiar with before playing. Not just for the story, but as it seems that Grace will have some basis in certain Resident Evil titles when it comes to tone and gameplay, while Leon will have a vastly different one based on some of the other games. Grace being more of the tension and horror aspect of titles like RE2 and RE7. Read More...

Styx: Blades Of Greed Offers Up A Taste Of Greed With A Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Styx Take Styx for a quick run before you offer up your coin to pre-order Styx: Blades Of Greed With Styx: Blades Of Greed hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 19th, time is getting close to pre-order this bad boy. Not that there is much of a reason to pre-order digital games in the modern age, but it will help out Cyanide Studios to keep the lights on a bit longer as we wait for the game to launch. I know, a month is a long time for many gamers who have been waiting to join Styx on one more adventure in the world. That is where the other fun news comes into play here, as that wait can be made a bit easier with a new demo that has dropped out there for us all to enjoy. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/5/26 — 1/9/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The world of video games never ceases to amaze me out there, as this week was a lot more packed than expected for a CES week. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things kicking off the crossover, Resident Evil Requiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Yeah, that one is a bit of a wild ride to think about, and we have all of that here on the site for you. Read More...
