Whether you love them or hate them, Activision and Treyarch have to be commended on their DLC support behind Call of Duty: World at War. Presently it looks like August is going to see more of that support with the release of a third map pack. Two days before the San Diego Comic-Con, Blizzard and Legendary Pictures have announced that Sam Raimi has signed on to direct the upcoming Warcraft movie. As a fan of hidden object and puzzle games, I was pleased to be able to review Kuros, the newest game from Sandlot Games. You begin the game as Katya, a young woman who finds herself in a mysterious land with no recollection of whom she is or why she is there. With all new game modes and a new presentation, it is clearly the sharpest looking of all, but is it the best? NCAA Football 10 continues the time-honored tradition of only adding just enough to get people to buy the new edition for the new year. Regardless of which side of the fence you sit on the release timing issue of Left4Dead 2, if you are going to San Diego Comic Con, you will want to jump on this. Valve will be showing Left4Dead 2 at Comic Con, as well as make it playable. At E3 they showed us "The Parish." This time around they plan on demonstrating a new campaign ("Swamp Fever") along with some never-before-seen items. After seeing Left4Dead 2 at E3 and going hands-on, I am already extremely hyped on the game and encourage everyone at SDCC to stop by the EA Gaming Lounge in the Gaslamp Hotel and try it out.
