New story details for Split Fiction are out there with Split Fiction diving further into character backgrounds Now that Split Fiction is coming down to the wire on when we will be able to play it on our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, let us get more of that story out there. Not that Hazelight Studios did not offer up a bunch of stories before now, but I am guessing that EA really wants us ready to pick it all up on March 6th. That is why we are digging a little further into the different reasons that Mio and Zoe have written their stories and we will need to survive them in Split Fiction. Even if it would be nice to have had all of this fed out as we were able to dig into the story for ourselves. Read More...

The story for Directive 8020 has been revealed along with when we can expect to play Directive 8020 with a release date It feels like it has been forever since we had any updates for Directive 8020 out there, and now here we are with some massive ones. Almost as if Supermassive Games was in the background changing and tweaking things to add in things they have learned along the way. Hence why it looks as if we have lost the Dark Pictures part to the title so that Directive 8020 can be something to stand on its own. Not that we are losing some of that, but worth noting as we dive into the story that we have for the game as we wait for it to release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 2nd. Read More...

New updates for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 show off how we will need to keep our Vampires hidden in Bloodlines 2 The visual updates for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 have been a little on the slow side out there, that is for sure, but the descriptive ones have been flowing like fine blood. That is why it is interesting to see that The Chinese Room is here to give us all a little bit more of a look at the Seattle they are building for Paradox Interactive. Not just in the way of the environment but how the gameplay system of The Masquerade will work in Bloodlines 2. Read More...

The Alters will no longer be hitting us all in Q1 of this year as The Alters is saddled with yet another delay for launch The wait for The Alters… continues as the game has been hit with yet another delay and pushing the launch further away from the Q1 2025 window that was recently set down. That does mean more wait for us but with the extra time, 11 Bit Studios should be able to get it working to a level we will all love and have little to complain about. Maybe even add in more variations for the various Alters in the story of it all so we have much more to experience on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when the game does eventually launch out there fully. A new overview of Exoborne is here to show off the gameplay loop we can expect in Exoborne’s playtest With the playtest for Exoborne about to kick off on February 12th, I guess it would be a solid time to go through a bit of the gameplay that we should be expecting here. Well, not us specifically but those over at Sharkmob who are working on the game and getting it fully ready for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They would be the better options to get us behind the scenes of Exoborne and fully explain the various elements of the game we are going to have to perfect. If we want to succeed at the game or make others fail at it, I guess. Read More...

Another teaser for Dark Light: Survivor has dropped to show off how this version of Dark Light will dig into a multiverse again The roguelike fun is coming back with a fun bit of tease in Dark Light: Survivor. The next title that Mirari & Co are working on for the PC that is not only going to be giving us some of that gameplay loop bits but also to mix things up in other ways too. Specifically in the visuals as it looks like it will have the cinematic modes that modern games have but then offer up a "pixel mode" to give it all a different look and feel. We are not talking about just a screen overlay for Dark Light: Survivor too, but in something that will do more than just put us back in the past with the grainer look to the visuals. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with the week coming to an end and we had so many fun little things for video games and gaming come out during the week. Most of them are on the smaller or indie scale with titles like Beneath and Underward having some fun. Along with many others that would not normally get the highlight on those other outlets out there. Along with a few video games like South Of Midnight and WWE 2K25 getting all of their fun out there too. Read More...

A demo for Bad Cheese is out there for us all to see if it hits well or really is just some Bad Cheese Those who have heard of Bad Cheese before now and looking to see what else it has to offer up besides a grim look at a specific art style can do so now. A demo for the game is out there on the PC for those looking to see what Simon Lukasik and Feardemic games will be bringing down the line. Sadly, not the full version of it all but even a small taste of Bad Cheese is better than no cheese. I think that is a saying out there or something. Read More...
