by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 17th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, the week has come to an end once more, and we had some fun with the various video games and films we had announced there. Some big ones like Resident Evil Requiem and Poppy Playtime had some highlights. Then we had a whole lot of smaller titles in the mix with Styx: Blades Of Greed, all to wrap with a good look at the upcoming film The Mortuary Assistant. Even if it was a shorter one around here, but that is on us and not the various video games out there that had something to add. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Showcases The Difference Between Grace & Leon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The latest showcase for Resident Evil Requiem is out there, and it shows how past Resident Evil titles are driving the gameplay Just as we have all been promised, we have a new showcase out for Resident Evil Requiem. Partially to get us hyped up to pre-order the game before Capcom drops it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, and partially to make sure we all know what titles from the past we should be familiar with before playing. Not just for the story, but as it seems that Grace will have some basis in certain Resident Evil titles when it comes to tone and gameplay, while Leon will have a vastly different one based on some of the other games. Grace being more of the tension and horror aspect of titles like RE2 and RE7. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/5/26 — 1/9/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The world of video games never ceases to amaze me out there, as this week was a lot more packed than expected for a CES week. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things kicking off the crossover, Resident Evil Requiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Yeah, that one is a bit of a wild ride to think about, and we have all of that here on the site for you. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Gets A Visual Showcase With The NVIDIA Hardware
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Resident Evil is coming to life with the new Path Tracing & DLSS 4 features that Resident Evil Requiem will house It feels like it would not be CES without Capcom showing off something new out there with their games, and it looks like Resident Evil Requiem is taking the stage here. That might sound weird to many, but they do like offering their games to showcase either new PC hardware or showcase a new console feature. This goes back to the day when we were out there playing Resident Evil 5 on the side of a Las Vegas strip hotel before it launched. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/8/25 — 12/12/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has finally dragged itself over the finish line here, and we did end with a rather solid bit for all of our video games. The Game Awards usually does that since the powers that be helped to kill any of the usual conferences we used to have for their own glorification. Ignoring that, we did have a big update for Resident Evil Requiem, She’s Leaving, and Invincible VS out there. Along with many other video games that were not as big as the others, but still worth the time and effort from all of us. Read More...

The Survival Begins Now With The Launch Of Ferocious
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 5th of December 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Ferocious The launch for Ferocious is finally here, and we need to survive the insanity out there with Ferocious The dinosaurs and robots are on the loose out there, with the launch of Ferocious on the PC. OMYOG and tinyBuild have been building towards this, and now the Dino Control Device can be in our hands. At least in this little virtual space out there in the first-person single-player shooter that we've seen come to life over the past few months. All of that said, we have one more look at Ferocious to further sell those waiting to see just how the game is going to look. Read More...

Quite A Ride Has A New Update To Pump Our Brakes Over
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Quite A Ride A new look at Quite A Ride is out there, along with an announcement that Quite A Ride has a new publisher bringing it to market Start pedaling a bit faster out there, as the horrors of Quite A Ride are getting closer to getting us. At least when the game is ready to ride on out there on the PC. Something that I know Goodwin Games is working hard on, so we have this weird biking experience where we are locked into a biking mode of transportation. I say all of this, as it looks as if they were able to also land Silver Lining Interactive to help get Quite A Ride over the finish line out there. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 24th of November 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Ferocious The release date for Ferocious is now set, and it looks like we will be doing much more than hunting dinosaurs in Ferocious It looks like all of that dinosaur hunting fun might be coming to the PC a lot sooner than we thought for Ferocious. After a little bit of time since OMYOG offered up a look at the game, we are here with a release date set down by tinyBuild to get the game in our hands. Also, to have something fun to show off during the OTK Games Expo that just went down. All good fun, with Ferocious now releasing on December 4th of this year. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2025 - 06:01 PM ]
Hello Neighbor A playtest is coming to us for Hello Neighbor 3 to make sure the game lives up to the Hello Neighbor experience Let us all get ready to take a little walk out there through Raven Brooks again with the latest we have for Hello Neighbor 3. As long as you are still hyped up to get this fun little title back into your life after all of the other iterations that tinyBuild has out there. This is the third in the core of the Hello Neighbor IP, so there is a bit more riding on it, and now we get to see the town that we will be exploring when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This Week In Video Games 10/27/25 — 10/31/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of October 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The day for all of the horror video games to be played is here, Halloween, and it also happens to cap off the week for so many out there. Some of us actually get the day off to do all of that and try to lean into the hobbies more than work for the day. Hence why we had so much during the week and up until the end, when we are going to be digging further into all of those spooky things. Like the horrors of Beneath, or watching more for Resident Evil Requiem. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Walks Us Down The Road That Brought Us To The Latest Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of October 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new look at the Resident Evil history is out there to get us to the point where we can preorder Resident Evil Requiem The road to get to Resident Evil Requiem has been a wild one, and we are talking mostly in the path that the IP has taken to get here after thirty years. We still have months until the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, but Capcom wants to make sure that we all have a chance to go down the memory lane of it all. To see where the Resident Evil story all started and, maybe, guess where it is all going to end with the ninth core game in the story. That and to make sure we are ready for February 27th, 2026, when the game launches out there. Read More...

There’s No Escaping Your Destiny In Resident Evil Requiem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new look at Resident Evil Requiem takes us deeper into the world, and shows us that Resident Evil Requiem is coming to the Switch The nightmare truly is for the living, as we finally have more to look at for Resident Evil Requiem. Enough to keep us going, but also just not enough that Capcom is truly spoiling much out there. At least beyond the fact of who we will be playing as in the game and that we will be exploring more of the amazing locations we have seen in Resident Evil before now. We are going to need something to keep going until it launches on February 27th, 2026, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Read More...
