Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to wrap up a fun little week we had here with all of the video games we had to look at. There were a lot of heavy hitters that had some updates, along with Resident Evil Requiem launching out there into the world. Resident Evil The horrors of Resident Evil have launched so much out there beyond just Resident Evil Requiem as of now The day is here, and Resident Evil Requiem has landed on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC out there. This title has been so anticipated, I am sure that many of you do not need the reminder that it is launching out there, but Capcom is giving it to us all just to be sure. A nice and little reminder that it is out there and the new horrors are ready for us all. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That puts another week in the bag around here, and one where we made it mostly through the week with so many video games in tow. Even if it did seem as if we had a few rough weeks in the past, we were back with Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill: Townfall, and a new John Wick Game to talk about to catch us all back up. That only scratches the surface of the video games we had to talk about this week, since we also had to play catch-up with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 and 007 First Light after having so many things drop out there in the mix. Resident Evil New footage and pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are here, and you can dive deeper into this Resident Evil story now The days are closing in until we are finally able to play Resident Evil Requiem on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. February 27th is just rushing on up to us, and I am sure Capcom is ready to see how we are all going to take the next title in the long-running line of games. Not that the rabid fans of Resident Evil have not already been champing at the bit to get this one home to see if we really needed more Leon in our lives. I am sure we do, but it feels like a missed chance to give us all something completely new and not testing waters with another character while forcing us to watch as a loved one might be coming to an end. Folklore Hunter The launch for Folklore Hunter is here after Folklore Hunter having a very long Early Access phase to development Six years feels like such a long time, but it has finally passed by, and the full launch for Folklore Hunter is here on the PC. We are still going to have to wait a bit longer for Liquid Donkey Games to bring the game to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch, but there is at least some silver lining on the way for all of that. Some big ones like Resident Evil Requiem and Poppy Playtime had some highlights. Resident Evil The latest showcase for Resident Evil Requiem is out there, and it shows how past Resident Evil titles are driving the gameplay Just as we have all been promised, we have a new showcase out for Resident Evil Requiem. Partially to get us hyped up to pre-order the game before Capcom drops it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, and partially to make sure we all know what titles from the past we should be familiar with before playing. Not just for the story, but as it seems that Grace will have some basis in certain Resident Evil titles when it comes to tone and gameplay, while Leon will have a vastly different one based on some of the other games. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things kicking off the crossover, Resident Evil Requiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Resident Evil Resident Evil is coming to life with the new Path Tracing & DLSS 4 features that Resident Evil Requiem will house It feels like it would not be CES without Capcom showing off something new out there with their games, and it looks like Resident Evil Requiem is taking the stage here. That might sound weird to many, but they do like offering their games to showcase either new PC hardware or showcase a new console feature. Ferocious The launch for Ferocious is finally here, and we need to survive the insanity out there with Ferocious The dinosaurs and robots are on the loose out there, with the launch of Ferocious on the PC. OMYOG and tinyBuild have been building towards this, and now the Dino Control Device can be in our hands. At least in this little virtual space out there in the first-person single-player shooter that we've seen come to life over the past few months. All of that said, we have one more look at Ferocious to further sell those waiting to see just how the game is going to look. Read More...

Quite A Ride A new look at Quite A Ride is out there, along with an announcement that Quite A Ride has a new publisher bringing it to market Start pedaling a bit faster out there, as the horrors of Quite A Ride are getting closer to getting us. At least when the game is ready to ride on out there on the PC. Something that I know Goodwin Games is working hard on, so we have this weird biking experience where we are locked into a biking mode of transportation. Ferocious The release date for Ferocious is now set, and it looks like we will be doing much more than hunting dinosaurs in Ferocious It looks like all of that dinosaur hunting fun might be coming to the PC a lot sooner than we thought for Ferocious. After a little bit of time since OMYOG offered up a look at the game, we are here with a release date set down by tinyBuild to get the game in our hands.
