The Nightmare Is Ready For Pre-Orders For Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil

New footage and pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are here, and you can dive deeper into this Resident Evil story now

The days are closing in until we are finally able to play Resident Evil Requiem on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. February 27th is just rushing on up to us, and I am sure Capcom is ready to see how we are all going to take the next title in the long-running line of games. Not that the rabid fans of Resident Evil have not already been champing at the bit to get this one home to see if we really needed more Leon in our lives. I am sure we do, but it feels like a missed chance to give us all something completely new and not testing waters with another character while forcing us to watch as a loved one might be coming to an end. That is what the latest story bits we have with the gameplay are alluding to, if I am understanding it correctly.

This, of course, is not the first time we have seen something like this in a Resident Evil title, and I do not think it will be the last. As long as the speculation is true that we have here. It looks like Grace might have been cultivated for a specific use, as we have seen with other characters in the more modern age of the IP, and something is crawling through Leon's skin in this story. If I had to guess, the many other action stories we have seen Leon in brought him a little too close to some of the viruses out there in the world, and it is about time something caught up. I will guess that Leon is heading back into the world of Resident Evil Requiem to find a way to remove the infection, while Grace will be some kind of super spreader to further the tests that Umbrella has been performing out there. Bot a long shot, but also something that feels just about right for the drama we have gone through in the IP so far. At least as it comes to the characters that keep coming back for more.

Resident Evil Requiem — Pre-Order

Requiem for the dead. Nightmare for the living.

Resident Evil Requiem is now available for pre-order! Experience terrifying survival horror with FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, and dive into pulse-pounding action with legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy. Both of their journeys and unique gameplay styles intertwine into a heart-stopping, emotional experience that will chill you to your core.

A new era of survival horror begins when Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW.

Do you think that this might be the true end for Leon in the Resident Evil IP, or will his popularity keep him alive for a whole lot longer? Do you think that Grace will be another monster like Mia was, or will she just house the horrors inside the Ashcroft family a little longer for Umbrella? Would you rather see completely new characters in the next title, or do you enjoy watching the same characters get beaten down with each new addition to the IP? Let us all discuss this in the comment section further down the page here. More will be on the way for Resident Evil Requiem as we get closer to the launch of the game, so please keep checking the site for all of those updates. The website or all of our social channels out there, as we will keep the news flowing as best as we can, even with all of the hardships going on behind the scenes as of late.
