Folklore Hunter Has Geared Us Up For Its Full Release On The PC

Folklore Hunter

The launch for Folklore Hunter is here after Folklore Hunter having a very long Early Access phase to development

Six years feels like such a long time, but it has finally passed by, and the full launch for Folklore Hunter is here on the PC. We are still going to have to wait a bit longer for Liquid Donkey Games to bring the game to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch, but there is at least some silver lining on the way for all of that. This is a solo developer, as it all so all of this is understandable. We are getting off-topic, though, as we should be focusing on the hunt here. One that has been tested quite a bit for Folklore Hunter and ready for us all to face off with the Mothman and various other beings that only the darkest folklore could offer to humanity. As long as you are in the market for a co-op hunting and survival title to grace your life.

Now that Folklore Hunter is out there, and for those who have missed everything over the past six years, here is what the game is all about. The title rather states what the general goal of it all is, but in this online co-op title, we are tasked with tracking down and slaying three legendary creatures of lore. The Strigoi, Wendigo, and Mothman make up that list. Each with their own habits and motives out in the world of Folklore Hunter. We must learn these patterns to bring them down and then perform the ritual that will seal them away and keep humanity safe. As we explore a few more strange landscapes and biomes that these creatures are stated to roam about in the stories we tell in the real world. Here is a quick look at some of the gameplay you can expect to have in the game, or you can just add it to the list of titles you are playing on your PC as soon as you finish reading all of these words. I know you will do what is right.

Have you been following along with the journey that Folklore Hunter has been going down, or is this the first time you have had the game brought to your attention? Is this not impressive what a solo developer can pull off in the modern age, and do we subtract the pandemic years to make it all even more impressive? Do you think that we might be able to see more of the creatures of legend out there in the game, or will it only be these three until a new title is added to the works? Let us have those thoughts so we can discuss them all down in the comments. We know there will be more to share for Folklore Hunter when it is ready for consoles, so please keep following along with all of the updates we have here so you can be as up to date on all of it as possible. While you are at it, give the social accounts a follow to see everything else we can offer out to the world.
