Get Unlucky With The Opening Minutes Of REANIMAL
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 15th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
REANIMAL New gameplay for REANIMAL is out there to build up more of the atmosphere the world of REANIMAL will offer It is time to get a little unsettled out there, with a whole lot of new gameplay for REANIMAL. A game that still has some time to go, as it will be launching on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC in 2026. Not that Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic have not been grinding away at it all to make it stand out there for us. It is coming on the backs of two other massive titles that look and feel the same as REANIMAL, so a bar has been set. Read More...

The 9th Charnel Piles Up More Of The Horror & Bodies For Us
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 15th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
The 9th Charnel Add another to the pile, with The 9th Charnel getting a new look at things and how The 9th Charnel will intertwine a few different stories Promises are being made as a new experience is coming back at us with The 9th Charnel. Well, not specifically a new thing, given that Saikat Deb Creations and SOEDESCO made mention this game was in the works a year ago, but we had next to nothing to go on back then. Time has passed, and the corpses of things have been piling up, so they are not ready to give us all a good look at this survival horror title that is on the way to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. At least for those out there who like a bit of psychological horror mixed into the survival parts. Read More...

Borderlands 4 Has Rafa Slicing His Way Into The New Vaults Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands Dig in deeper for the next vault hunter to hit the Borderlands, as we see Rafa come fully onto the scene for Borderlands 4 We had a deep dive into one of the Vault Hunters on the way to Borderlands 4, and now we can dive into the next one. This one is a little more on the melee side of things, as Gearbox is looking to mix things up a bit more with Rafa. Not that we have not seen a character like this in Borderlands before now, but Rafa is a little different. So different, that we should probably understand how he is not dead before the game launches on September 12th on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 11th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light The parkour is on the way back in Dying Light: The Beast, and we get to see a bit more of how Dying Light might play out in the real world It has been a few years since we had our last look at how parkour would flow in this world, but here we go again to further hype up Dying Light: The Beast launching, we have the next part to it all. Maybe you remember it, or maybe you don't, but back when the second title was released, Techland helped bring a bit of the game to life with some real-world free runners. All to give us a feel for how things would flow out there if Dying Light 2 happened and you happened to be a free runner. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a wild week we had here in terms of video games and all of the other massive things we were able to check out. From some of the of the SDCC wrap-up to the preview of Universal Horror Unleashed, we had so many things outside of gaming but in the interactive space to cover. Not to say we did not have a lot of video games like Borderlands 4, Cronos: The New Dawn, and Darksiders 4 to talk about. Such a wild week, and we have so much more pumping out there over the weekend for once. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Cronos A new deep dive into Cronos is here, with the developers offering more to the story of Cronos: The New Dawn Earlier in the week, we had a deep dive into the gameplay that Cronos: The New Dawn is going to bring us all when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 5th. Now, we get to have a bit more of the lore and story that Bloober Team is crafting into the mix here. Some things that help to explain what we have seen up to now, as well as get us ready for the longer story that we will get to undertake when it launches. Including how the story will branch, and that we might not have to harvest everyone in the mix of things in Cronos. Read More...

Break Free From The Couch With The Announced Switch 2 Version Of Borderlands 4
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 6th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Borderlands Take the Borderlands fun on the go, with the recently announced Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 that will be launching I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before we heard it was happening, but here we are with Borderlands 4 getting the full Switch 2 announcement for release. Not overly surprising with Gearbox wanting to make sure all of the fans that truly want the game have the option to throw all of their money at the studio. Sadly, it does not appear that this version of Borderlands 4 will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 12th. Read More...

Dying Light: The Beast Is Giving Us All More Blood & Guts
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 5th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Dying Light A new bit of gore is on the way with Dying Light: The Beast as we have to wait a little longer for this new Dying Light title As if games about the undead and infected coming after us were not bloody enough, here we go with Dying Light: The Beast ramming even more of that brutality into our eyes to make us all squirm. That is not the specific goal of Techland with the game, but they certainly wanted to hit us hard with how rough things might be out there. The world of Dying Light is already a deadly one, and now there will be even more bone-shattering, blood-quenching finishers, and so many more decapitations in the game. Read More...

Cronos The release date for Cronos: The New Dawn is in place, and it is time to gear up for when we can actually play Cronos: The New Dawn If you thought it was going to be a long time before you could sit down in the horror world of Cronos: The New Dawn, well, you will have to think again and plan a little better. As it turns out, Bloober Team is close to wrapping on the game, and now we have a release date for it all much sooner than I would have thought. In fact, we are only a month out from it as of this writing, with Cronos: The New Dawn getting a release date of September 5th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Read More...

Beneath Will Be Rising Up To The Consoles Officially Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Beneath The console announcement for Beneath is officially here, so even more players can see the horrors flowing up from Beneath Maybe I have gone a little mad, as I thought this was something that was announced before, but it does look as if Beneath will be getting a console release for the game when it launches now. Maybe this was something teased before, and Camel 101 was not able to fully confirm at the time, but I was fairly certain the Lovecraftian Shooter was hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it launches this year. All of that said, it is now confirmed, and it looks like this version of Beneath will also have a few of those fun little extras that the consoles are known to bring along with them when games launch out there. There Are Such Sights To Show Us With Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellraiser Hellraiser fans can start to lose their minds with the announcement of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival clawing into our eyes soon Another horror IP is getting a full game made for it as we have the announcement for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? Before you get all worried like we have with the other IPs that have come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this one is not going to be an asymmetric title for once. Read More...
