Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Order Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Order Up. This Is The Fifth Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did Normally this would be the final end-cap on the season for Minecraft: Story Mode but as it turns out we still have three more episodes to go before season one officially ends. Yes, Telltale Games is taking this whole story into an eight part thing instead of the traditional five. I guess there is a lot to tell for Mojang's title that has never had a story before. Review — JettyCat Towers (Mobile)
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 29th of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
JettyCat Towers Going up with JettyCat the cool cat with a jetpack in JettyCat Towers JettyCat Towers is a mobile game developed by Andrej Preradovic of Ohsat Games. JettyCat looks very nice. I feel like he will make a good mobile game mascot being a very cute cat with a jetpack. The game has thirty levels divided up into three towers; with the third tower being a master challenge that requires you to collect 170 coins scattered across the past two towers. The controls are simple: tap left to go left, tap right to go right, and hold both to go straight. The first tower consists of rooms that have salmon colored walls and yellow block backgrounds. Two New VR Titles, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, Are Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. Of course that would be the case and if it wasn't for the fact that all of the news broke together we would have wasted your time talking about Feral Rites and then go into a whole other posting about The Unspoken. 7 Days To Die Coming To Consoles From Telltale Publishing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
7 Days To Die 7 Days To Die is making its way over to the consoles this June from Telltale and it looks like 7 Days To Die is the start of a new program from the publisher Looks like another blast from the past game, 7 Days To Die, is going to be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One here. This would be the Survival Horde Crafting title that was built by indie developer The Fun Pimps that only saw the light of day on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. Telltale Publishing couldn't have that be so now they are bringing 7 Days To Die to a bigger audience to help destroy the current sales of 1.5 million gamers to most likely a whole lot more. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for the latest episode of Minecraft: Story Mode has popped up and it shows off how much deeper into the world of Minecraft we are all about to go The fifth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is releasing today, March 29th, and we have the new trailer for it. There were a few questions on where Telltale Games was going to take the story here and it looks like we now have the answer. That answer being that we are going to go even deeper into the Minecraft that we and Mojang have crafted over the years and into a whole new realm. A realm where building is outlawed for the most part. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's fifth episode has been revealed as well as where we can see this Minecraft franchise go in the near future After the events of Minecraft: Story Mode's last episode it was easy to think that there wasn't much else to do or go to in the story here. Telltale Games did kind of wrap up the really big issue and conflict in episode four but they also did promise that they were going to bring us a fifth episode for the story based around Mojang's IP. They are a company of their word and now we have the fifth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode's first season coming at us on March 29th now for all of the game's platforms. Read More...

New Multiplayer VR Game Werewolves Within Has Been Outed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolves Within A new VR game, Werewolves Within, has been announced and pits players against each other to see who truly has a Werewolves Within… The mainstream VR hardware is still a bit off from release and it looks like we have yet another odd game to add to the list as Werewolves Within has just been announced. While the title does sound a bit goofy it does look like Red Storm is trying to make something truly unique out of the gate for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. Werewolves Within wouldn't be a true Ubisoft game if it wasn't trying to capitalize on every available platform that it can right out the gate after all. Read More...

The Division Will Expand & Grow Over The Next Foreseeable Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Division The first expansions and updates for The Division have been announced and all part of the recently announced Season Pass for The Division We all knew that The Division was going to be getting a Season Pass and that it was going to be coming with at least three expansions for the game. It wouldn't be an Ubisoft title if it didn't have some form of DLC to entice gamers to drop more cash. As it is releasing next week, March 8th, it was looking like all we were going to be hearing about in detail was the first expansion and then we would have to wait and see what was coming for The Division. NightCry Is Looking To Terrify Sometime This Spring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
NightCry After a nice little alpha demo of NightCry it looks like the development team is prepping for a Spring release for NightCry on the PC Last year we were able to see that NightCry was funded and in the works from Nude Maker studios. There was a lot of rejoice as many, myself included, loved the Clock Tower games that this was game was going to be building off even if it wasn't a direct sequel. As Kickstarter campaigns go of course we were all updated with a few things during the time of success and now and if some of those backers had been keeping a close eye they would have seen a nice little alpha slice of NightCry to have been played all last month. It looks like things went well and the feedback that was given was helpful as it looks like the PC build of NightCry is now well on its way to release in the next few months. Read More...

Just See How Pretty The Division Can Truly Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Division Two new videos for The Division have been released to show just how the PC version of The Division will blow minds and eyes away By now you have hopefully had a chance to give The Division a quick little run around via the most recent beta. Or at least by now you should know that the game is going to be really pretty on all the platforms it is hitting on March 8th. Yes, Ubisoft went out of the way to make The Division look good on the PS4 and Xbox One and not just leave it to the PC gamers out there to have the best experience possible. At least best in terms of visuals and how one can be transported into New York City after the fall of society. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/15/16 — 2/19/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of February 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. As usual there was so very much that we had to cover and we did our damnedest to make sure we were able to get to every last bit that we could. We did have a lot more on the Far Cry Primal and Paragon side of things than could have been expected but the world of video games is a fickle bitch. I'm just glad we were able to get to the Layers Of Fear and Minecraft: Story Mode reviews we kept talking about that last few weeks. That all said, now we just have to keep looking forward to the next week and all of the other video games that we are going to hear about in the coming days. Read More...

Or for that matter if Telltale Games has added anything new in terms gameplay mechanics. Meet The Division's Enemies As Well As Your Own To Survive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
The Division A new look at the enemy factions of The Division has been released as well as details on an open beta for The Division coming in about a week's time If you had the joy of playing in The Division's closed beta recently then you most likely got a good look at some of the other factions trying to control the innocent people of New York in the game. I am still not sure how so many innocent people still survive in the world here as all of the factions look to be just as brutal as the next but The Division had to give us something to fight for right? Ubisoft wouldn't have a great game here if they didn't. Read More...
