Liminal Point New gameplay for Liminal Point is here, and it shows off how much inspiration Liminal Point took from other IPs The creeps are wandering out there, with some new gameplay for Liminal Point. This is that isometric horror title that we brought up a while ago, with HideWorks driving it all forward onto the PC. A solid little bit of fun was had back when it was announced, and now, we have a look at some of the actual gameplay for Liminal Point. A solid choice to drop it all right before Halloween. This Week In Video Games 9/29/25 — 10/3/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of October 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally put this week in the back of the books and move on to play all of our video games out there. This was one that was filled, but mostly with the horrors and smaller titles many might not normally go for. Well, if you ignore the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics dropped out there and do not see Bloodlines 2 as a true horror title. The likes of Painkiller and Little Nightmares III graced us with a few bigger things too, but still in the vein of video games that are horror-related. Read More...

San Diego Comic-Con Through The Eyes Of A Complete Novice To The Experience
by Bri Sullivan [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Comic-Con Have a look at San Dingo Comic-Con through the lens of someone relatively new to the Comic-Con experience from 2025 It’s been a few months since my first Comic-Con, and I’ve had time to reflect on my experience. When I was invited to Comic-Con, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had heard about it from my friends and seen photos during some of the more popular Marvel-heavy Cons, but I had never done much digging into the Con itself. I’ve broken my experience down into the pluses and the minuses, plus a few tips and tricks, with my overall review at the end. Read More...

People Of Note Reveals To Us A New Way To Win A Song Contest
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 24th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
People Of Note A new turn-based title, People Of Note, is here to reveal to us how People Of Note will shake things up in the genre with music I do love a good musical, and it seems like we are getting another in the mix of our video games with People Of Note. A new title that Iridium Studios and Annapurna are working for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to release somewhere in 2026. Not just in the vein we have seen other musical titles land out there, but with People Of Note being a turn-based title to allow for all of the songs to flow out there. An interesting choice to give us, when others have been a timed event to make sure that the live music videos, as they are, hit the beats correctly and keep the flow going. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is finally over, and we can now move along to all of those video games we have been putting off during the week. Maybe even test a few out that have some new demos or Early Access going on right now. Unless you are all truly holding out for titles like Bloodlines 2, Dispatch, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 or Alien: Rogue Incursion to launch out there instead. I mean, those are some solid video games, but not something that feels like we all need to hold out from the other fun ones until then. Read More...

There’s No Escaping Your Destiny In Resident Evil Requiem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new look at Resident Evil Requiem takes us deeper into the world, and shows us that Resident Evil Requiem is coming to the Switch The nightmare truly is for the living, as we finally have more to look at for Resident Evil Requiem. Enough to keep us going, but also just not enough that Capcom is truly spoiling much out there. At least beyond the fact of who we will be playing as in the game and that we will be exploring more of the amazing locations we have seen in Resident Evil before now. We are going to need something to keep going until it launches on February 27th, 2026, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Read More...

Voidling Go behind the scenes with Voidling Bound, and see how the splicing system is going to work for our Voidlings It is time to mix things up in the world of Voidling Bound, and take a look at how things will be spliced together in the game. That will be part of the core of the game, and now we have Hatchery Games here to show off how the feature will function in the game when it lands on the PC. They are combining a few titles and genres for Voidling Bound, so it makes sense that we will have a robust way to do the same within the game. Play Against The Devil On The Consoles With The Devil Is In The Details
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Devil Console gamers will get to face off with the Devil in the new version of The Devil Is In The Details, coming out very soon The Devil Is In The Details is on its way out there for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S games now, with some of the news we have flowing here. This is the title that HideWorks put out there on the PC not too long ago, where we would have to do some of the bidding of the one from below so we could make our way out of Limbo or Purgatory. All in the vein of an observation-first horror title, where we will have to watch for things changing in the world, while also surviving the horrible beings trying to keep us from doing our task. A fun little take on a normal kind of horror title as of late. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of August 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week this was here for us, as we had so many things to cover that were not video games in general. Even as we started to wrap up everything for Gamescom, that came out, too. The bigger bit is the podcast and review that we had for the Toxic Avenger, which hits theaters as you are reading this. We also had a bit of fun looking at Return To Silent Hill, which does still fall into the video games realm, but is still a film we are excited for. Read More...
