Resident Evil Drops A Lot Of New Gore & Lore For The Upcoming Film

Resident Evil

An exclusive look at the upcoming Resident Evil movie is here, just a little ahead of us all getting to see Resident Evil in theaters

The dead are starting to rise up as we get closer to September 18th, when the Resident Evil movie will be hitting theaters. We have seen quite a bit of the film at all of the conventions and showcases out there, and it looks as if we have one more bit to look at for it all. A longer look at a scene that we have seen in the previous trailers, and this one shows off just how our new protagonist is going to learn some of the Resident Evil lore out there. All while giving us the feeling we once had when we were playing the game the first time. A very interesting take, and we are going to have that look at all of it right now. Also, a word to the wise: this does not seem to spoil anything major of the film, but it does show off a little bit of the action we are going to get along with the horror.

Those who have been playing Resident Evil for a while would definitely know that the infected can die after we put enough damage into them. That is nothing new to learn. For Bryan (Austin Abrams), though, this is a wholly new experience to be running through in the film, and I am sure we are going to see a lot of the infected now stay down after being shot. In the following clip, it looks as if Bryan has not found this out specifically yet, and is still running for his life. That is where we are in the scene where we see loads of the infected dropping from the buildings to try and get at Bryan. Here, we get to see the clip fully play out for the Resident Evil movie to see that Bryan learns they can stay down after massive trauma. All while seeing a mostly practical scene play out where they dropped massive bags of blood and gore as Austin ran down the road. A few times almost got hit by the 150 lbs. sacks, which Zach Cregger kept in the final scene with only a few digital enhancements to make the gore fly a bit more.

Did you feel the same way as Bryan after taking down the first infected while playing Resident Evil, or is this something everyone should know in the modern age? Are you glad to see all of the practical effects still happening here, and will it be worth the danger that Austin was in for the scene? What do you think led up to Bryan climbing out of the sewers, and will there be a reason to hold onto the organ bag as long as he has? Let us have those thoughts down in the comment section to discuss. We are going to see what else we can get out there for the Resident Evil movie, as well as see it on September 18th. Join us in all of that on the website and all of our social channels so you are ready for the horror films to bring all of the frights to us. I am so extremely excited to see all of this.
