by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands It is time to meet Vex for Borderlands 4, with a look at the Siren’s abilities and reasons why they are in Borderlands 4 The Dark Siren is coming right for us all in Borderlands 4, as we get to see Vex in all the Siren glory out there. Well, as much as is available before Gearbox is able to bring the game to market on September 12th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. They are not going to spoil everything we have for Vex before then, but we do need to see some solid gameplay to experience out there. That is where the new character showcases are coming in. Invincible VS Offers Up Some New Blasts With A Look At Rex Splode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of July 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Invincible Another Invincible alum is coming to the fight with Rex Splode announced for the upcoming Invincible VS Things are getting a bit more explosive out there for Invincible VS, as we have Rex Splode coming onto the scene of the fight. Another of the staple characters I had a feeling we were going to get in the game, with Skybound Games making the confirmation with a bit of gameplay. Some gameplay that shows off how the character will fight in the game, along with how much of the cockiness that Rex is going to bring over from the pages and screen of Invincible. It would have been a weird choice not to bring that all over, so it is good to see it here. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 14th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Peacefest Peacemaker and IT: Welcome To Derry are on the way to SDCC, and Peacefest is going to give us all a fun experience to enjoy in the fandom With a fun twist of events, it looks as if Peacemaker and IT: Welcome To Derry will be making a bit of a show out at SDCC this year. There was a lot of conversation about how HBO and Warner Bros. were not planning on bringing much to the convention this year. That all seems to only be in terms of the films, with both shows having a panel and screening. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of July 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a week… and one that did not have as many video games to bring up, but so many things to talk about in all of the other realms. A little the norm, with SDCC 2025 about to kick off and all the hype building up to that. Even with the mix of things for Invincible VS and Borderlands 4 out there. We could not just gloss over certain things, like South Park, coming back to the con and the various things The Lodge and Twisted Metal are going to be bringing with them too. Read More...

Thula Is Showing Off Along With Bulletproof In Something New For Invincible VS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Invincible Another Invincible character is flying into the game, and we have another fleshed out more for Invincible VS I did not think that this week was going to ramp up as it is here for Invincible VS, but here we are with yet another update for the game. Maybe it is because it will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC early in 2026, or maybe it is because Skybound Games might be showing it off a little more at SDCC in a few weeks. We are not certain, but we are still pumped to see more for Invincible VS. In this instance, it is another new character for the growing roster as well as a deeper dive into another we have seen already. Read More...

Disney Entertainment Television Is Bringing So Many Fun Things To SDCC 2025
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Disney All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. Even if a lot of them might not be the main IPs one would think of, but all under the Disney Entertainment Television banner. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Death Relives Death Relives is getting a little more immersive with a new companion app launching alongside the core Death Relives title Here is a fun and unexpected twist coming for Death Relives when it launches on July 25th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We are getting a new little companion to bring along with us into the horror that Nyctophile Studios is building out there. Not a companion in the world that we can throw under the bus, unless we want to pay a lot of extra money, but a new app for the game to further immerse us into the world of Death Relives. Not just with the gameplay, but all of the lore that we will have to dig into with the game as well. Read More...

Don’t Open… The Dead Are Inside The Coming Update For Dead By Daylight
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 8th of July 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight The Walking Dead is getting added to Dead By Daylight with the next big crossover event that Dead By Daylight will have The Fog is pulling in yet another IP to crossover into the Dead By Daylight space, and this time it is with The Walking Dead. An IP that just will not do at this point, with the same that can be said about the title that Behaviour has created out there. Maybe all for a good reason, as this will give us a bit more to play with on July 29th when it is pulled in. At least, pulled in by the way of two new Survivors for Dead By Daylight, a new skin that can add another, and then many of the iconic locations from the TV show version of The Walking Dead universe. Project Diarchy Makes Us Ready For Anything But Choice In The Outlast Trials
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Outlast New assets and Outlast reagents are coming to end us in the next update for The Outlast Trials More of the horrors are coming out there with the next big update for The Outlast Trials. Not just an update that Red Barrels is giving to us for the story, as dark as it has been getting, but a new update that finally gives us a new Prime Asset into the world. Technically, it is two Prime Assets we are getting, but all in one body. An interesting concept and something that is fitting for the Outlast universe, while also making things harder in the game. Welcome To Kairos As We Dig Deeper Into The Planet For Borderlands 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands Let us take a walk on the new planet for Borderlands that we will be getting when Borderlands 4 launches out there We go beyond the usual lands out there with a new look at Borderlands 4. This time we are digging into the planet and world that Gearbox is making to keep the IP going. While I am sure it would have been cheaper for 2K if they just went back to the same locations, players would not really enjoy that. I know I would not have enjoyed that on September 12th when Borderlands 4 is slated to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. I am getting off topic, though, so let us take a stroll around Kairos and see who is running and the various factions we are going to need to fight or align ourselves with when the game hits. Invincible VS Lets Atom Eve Show Off All Of Her True Might In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Invincible A deeper dive into Atom Eve from Invincible is here for Invincible VS, and we get so many move sets to look into We might not have a new character to look at for Invincible VS, but we have another deep dive into a character we have seen before. A weird way to spoon-feed us things for the game from Quarter Up and Skybound Games, but something that is keeping things interesting for us. Not to mention, it does show off one of the more popular characters from the Invincible universe as we wait for the game to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Not to mention, it does show us how some of the moves and powers will be used in the game to give us an ending to some of the fights that we have been curious about. Read More...

The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Is Taking Aim With A New Release Date
by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 7th of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Enter The House Of The Dead again with a partial release date for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on a few platforms Let us all get shambling, as we have a new day to look at for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake to rise up and try to eat more of our brains. A little bit of a split release date, though I am sure that Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment have the right things in mind for it all. I say this, as it seems like the undead will only be roaming for us on the Switch and PC this coming August 7th. The House Of The Dead 2: Remake is still listed as coming to the PS5, and Xbox Series X|S too, but it seems that will come at a different time when it does. Read More...
