Project Songbird
New gameplay for Project Songbird is out there to get us all ready for the full release of Project Songbird soon
It is time to get ready to see what Project Songbird will have to offer us all on March 26th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that we have not had little looks here and there, but FYRE Games has gone out of its way to make sure we have a bit more to the story, along with a look at the gameplay we are going to be handling. Something that I am sure many might have thought was just going to be a bit of a walking sim, but it looks as if Project Songbird has a bit more under the hood for us to enjoy. Something that will make writing that massive new album in the world just a bit harder. Something that might also make it harder to just survive the darkness in the world. Let us all have a look at just what we are going to be blasting through now.
Those not up on what Project Songbird is offering, it is a title where we are playing as a musician who is going through a bit of writer's block. The pressure is on to write the next big album for themselves and thus choose to head into a remote cabin to have the peace of mind to do so. Sadly for them, things are not all that peaceful, as that is when the horror begins. So, not only will we be suffering from writer's block, but also all of the other nightmarish things coming out to bring more of the darkness. That is where some of the action and combat in Project Songbird is going to pop off, and I mean that with some weapons and not just hiding from things. Even if there will still be some walking involved, the following video does show how things are going to be a little more exciting than that. Not to mention, we do get to hear some of the voice cast offering up their work to keep us all entertained. Have a look and a listen for yourself just down the page.
Project Songbird — Gameplay
Set deep beneath the isolating canopy of the Appalachian forest, Project Songbird is a gripping, surreal, and psychological tale that explores the dark side of the creative process. Players will take on the role of Dakota, a struggling career musician who, while suffering from writer’s block, heads to a remote log cabin to record their new album. As they search amongst the pines for a spark of creativity, they soon discover something more lurks in the darkness — and that not all inspirations are positive.
With a strong focus on narrative, cinematic presentation, and player immersion, Project Songbird effortlessly juxtaposes picturesque, naturalistic environments with surrealist nightmarescapes. Stunning voice performances from a highly talented cast will pull players headfirst into this dark tale, while tactile and heart-pounding combat encounters will keep them on their toes.
Project Songbird — Key Features:

Were you under the impression that Project Songbird was going to be more of a narrative experience, or did you expect there to be a lot of action in the mix? Do you think that we will be able to finish the album in the story, and will it be tied to the events that our character will be going through? Is this all going to be in their head, or is this something truly supernatural going on in the world that we stumbled upon? Let us have that discussion all happen in the comment section down the page. If there is something else to offer up for Project Songbird before it fully launches out there, the website will have it. Just keep coming back or follow all of our social channels to make sure you are alerted when that all happens. You will be glad that you did.
