Emotionless
The console launch for Emotionless: The Last Ticket is officially here, as more players can experience the fun Emotionless has to offer up
It certainly is starting to feel like this is the time of horror titles out there, as now we get to see Emotionless: The Last Ticket out on the market but on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Yes, that means that the game that X1 Games brought to the PC back in October has finally wrapped up the process to head over to the consoles, and that release is today. As long as you are into atmospheric horror games that dive into a bit of cosmic horror as well. You could also just be a fan of creepy amusement parks, and Emotionless: The Last Ticket will be right there for you. You know, just the basics you'll need to get in on playing this fun little experience out there on the consoles. If only the world were blessed with all the time to do so.
As the story goes in Emotionless: The Last Ticket, we are playing as James, who is heading back to an amusement park built by his father, who went missing. One that looks like it could have been a big deal when it was in its prime, but something surreal has seemed to spill in and brought a bit of the horror into the world. That is where some of the cosmic horror and liminal spaces aspects of the game come in. As we wander about searching, and riding some of the rides that are in the park. Something to help break up the loop of things in Emotionless: The Last Ticket, as it does seem to be a game where we find a path, get lost, find it again, and then repeat. All great reasons to keep us all going in the game world, that's for sure. Have a look at the teaser we have for it all and get ready to climb aboard one wild ride out there in the universe.
Emotionless: The Last Ticket — Console Launch Trailer
Emotionless: The Last Ticket is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Step into a twisted world in Emotionless: The Last Ticket, released on October 7th on Steam. An atmospheric horror game inspired by classic and cosmic horror, Emotionless: The Last Ticket drops players into a creepy amusement park and, through its haunting plot and atmosphere, takes them on a surreal trip as they try to find their way out.
Emotionless: The Last Ticket is a first-person psychological horror experience focused on atmosphere and exploration.
You are James Anderson, a son returning to the abandoned amusement park his missing father built. Venture into a surreal world inspired by liminal spaces and cosmic horror, where familiar corridors twist into unsettling dead ends, and every hallway defies logic…
- Atmospheric Exploration: Search for clues, find audio logs, and navigate a haunting narrative without immersion-breaking combat.
- Twsited Geometry: Get lost, find the right path, and then get lost again. Not every hallway in this twisted amusement park makes sense…
- Liminal Elements: From empty maintenance tunnels to bizarre fairground rides, explore a world that feels both familiar and deeply wrong.
- Interactive Rides: Why not take a moment to experience the amusement park's attractions? Just don’t get too relaxed, who knows what awaits on these one-of-a-kind rides.
Did you play Emotionless: The Last Ticket when it landed on the PC last year? Are you surprised by how fast it was able to make the jump to the consoles? Will there be a Switch 2 version of the game down the line, or will that be an even bigger undertaking than we think? What makes the horrors truly cosmic out there for you in games like this? It is unlikely that there will be much else to bring up for Emotionless: The Last Ticket now that it has launched widely, but if there's something new, I'm all over it. Just be on the site here, and watch all of our socials to make sure you catch those updates when they do land out there.
