Wander Into A New Dimension Coming For Life Is Strange: Double Exposure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of September 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange A new look at Life Is Strange: Double Exposure is out there from the Tokyo Game Show that gives us more of the Life Is Strange supporting cast We are just about a month out from Life Is Strange: Double Exposure gracing all of our systems out there and the hype is still going strong. Even as the Tokyo Game Show was hitting some heights in many other ways, it looked as if Deck Nine Games was not going to let all of this fall to the side. Not only showing off the way that the game will have the Japanese voiceover work when it lands on October 29th, but also in a fun way to show off some of the supporting cast that Max will be working with in this chapter of the Life Is Strange story. Tormented Souls 2 Just Got A Little More Cinematic To Offer More Horrors
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of September 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Tormented Souls A new cinematic for Tormented Souls 2 is out there with a look at a few of the environments we will explore when Tormented Souls 2 launches A spooky day has come and passed and we have more to see for Tormented Souls 2 as it comes to some of the cinematics in the game. Well, more of the way some of the scenes will look and most likely feel as we play through what Dual Effect and PQube are building for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. More so as all of what we have to look at feels like it is using the engine of Tormented Souls 2 to show things off and not some extra hype video that will not look like anything the final version will look like. Even if this is still a little early in the game's engine with the final release of the game slated for 2025, but I digress. Read More...

An odd list of platforms to bring the game physically too, but I am sure that Meridiem knows what they are doing when it comes to the title that Keplerians made for us. Even if it has been a few years now, the Evil Nun will be stalking us on those platforms, physically, on November 19th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of January 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are wrapping up another week of gaming and video games with a bunch of other elements going on here. Mostly with the gaming side of it all, but we are still in the throes of CES 2024 with some fun content on the way from all of that. More than just the Half-Life 2 RTX bit we got during the show so far. Although, that is not to say that the other video games like Sand Land and Immortality did not earn their place in the mix of things this week. Read More...

Half-Life 2 RTX Shows Off A Better Version Of Ravenholm Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of January 2024 - 08:00 PM ]
Half-Life A new look at the Half-Life 2 RTX project is out of CES 2024 with a look at how the community is bringing Half-Life 2 back to life One would not expect to hear about a new mod-driven update for Half-Life 2 to get an announcement out of CES 2024, but here we are. The event has been in full swing and during the recent NVIDIA showcase of the new hardware and features, we were all treated to seeing how the Half-Life 2 RTX project will be bringing this classic title back into our lives and with some new visuals. Along with all of the other tweaks and changes that the modding community has gone through to make sure this IP does not die; even if the main developer does not seem to want to give us another full entry into it all. If you did not know before, the Half-Life 2 RTX project is one where a community of fans have opted to go in and bring this title into the new age with new graphics, assets, and all of the other bells and whistles a modern game would have. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 6th of January 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The year has kicked off and, just as we thought, things are a bit slow on the gaming side and video games out there. That is to be expected. Although, with certain copyrights being lifted, we did see that Infestation 88 did not take long to make the announcement. Then there were a few more updates for Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown and a possible hint at when we can play Silent Hill 2 remake. All of that and a build toward the release of the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in the coming month too. Read More...

Infestation 88 Brings More Of The Iconic Rodents To Attack Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of January 2024 - 06:00 PM ]
Infestation 88 The announcement for Infestation 88 is here to use a massive public domain character into horror in Infestation 88 We knew it was going to happen once some IPs started to hit the public domain, and within hours of it happening, here we go with Infestation 88. A new horror title coming from Nightmare Forge Games that will be using that nostalgia of a hundred-year-old character to help bring some different frights into the mix. It is unclear if it can be stated which one directly since they are sticking clear of naming anything directly, but you can have a look at Infestation 88 and see just what they are going for. As long as this PC game does not get hammered down by the original IP owner in various ways that are still out there. Read More...

Chasmal Fear Gives Us More Of The Body Cam Horror We Might Need
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of December 2023 - 10:00 PM ]
Chasmal Fear New gameplay for Chasmal Fear is out there to tease a bit more of what we will play with when Chasmal Fear launches The body cam footage games seem to be the next big wave of titles we are going to get with Chasmal Fear offering up some fun new gameplay for us all to enjoy. This is a new title coming out of MystiveDev that has been built in the Unreal Engine 5, as many others have been, that will be leaning more into the horror of things instead of the more realistic monsters out there. Take that as you will, but Chasmal Fear offers up some gameplay with many more monsters and hulking beasts than we have seen in any of these other entries into the 'genre'. Let us have a look and see if this will keep us all glued to our PC once it gets released into the world in 2024. Read More...
