Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been a week here with the year ending and then starting back up, so we have more video games to play out there. Granted, it was a little on the lighter side as many of the teams and studios were out there celebrating, but we did have quite a few things to bring up. Dread Neighbor Another psychological horror title, Dread Neighbor, is on the way to us all with Dread Neighbor going into some darkness More of the modern and foreign fears are on the way into the world with the reveal for Dread Neighbor. A new title that Ghostcase and Erabit are working on for the PC that will carry on a legacy of fear from a past title. All in a first-person and dark setting filled with many other nightmares, it would seem. Styx Styx has gone missing in 2025, but we have a new release date for Styx: Blades Of Greed in 2026 Those paying close attention to Styx: Blades Of Greed might have thought that the game was set to stealth release in the next few days. Given that Nacon and Cyanide Studios had it slated for a 2025 release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. DreadOut New gameplay for DreadOut 3 is out there, so we can see just where this title will take the whole DreadOut IP The journey carries onward here, with a new look at DreadOut 3 and the path that Linda will be going down in the game. Along with a bit of new gameplay that Digital Happiness had to show off in a recent outing for the game. This time, with DreadOut 3 going into more of the balancing of light and darkness in the world that it has built. Dead By Daylight Another crossover for Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things is here, with some new horrors in the mix of Dead By Daylight There is certainly one thing that Dead By Daylight does well, and that is crossover events that build into a massive thing in some way. In this instance, it looks like Behaviour is digging deep into the ending of Stranger Things just as the show comes to an end, while also offering up some new horrors into the game. At least, on January 6th when this whole thing pops off, and you will be able to see the gang again in Dead By Daylight. WILL The open playtest for WILL: Follow The Light is ready for us all starting at Will’s Lighthouse The puzzle adventure that is WILL: Follow The Light is finally ready for the PC gamers out there to give it all a bit of a playtest, if you have an hour you wish to kill in the game. That is how much of the game that TomorrowHead Studio is ready to offer up to the growing fans so they can make sure that the game is fully ready for the launch in the first half of 2026 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Yes, this does also mean that the console games will not have a chance to experience all of this for WILL: Follow The Light early, but that is the state of gaming out there. Silent Road A new horror title, Silent Road, has been announced with Silent Road having us drive a very dark stretch in an infamous location Get ready to have one of the weirdest and darkest taxi simulation titles out there in the world with the announcement for Silent Road. A new title on the way to the PC from Endflame that is part taxi driving game, first-person horror, and potentially a little insensitive. I say that as Silent Road will have us all driving in the area of Japan where the suicide forest is located. REPLACED The full release of REPLACED is now set, with REPLACED coming early in 2026 after such a long wait we’ve had It has been so long since we saw REPLACED announced out there, with so little to go on since. A little bit of the norm when it comes to some games, but it felt as if Sad Cat Studios and Thunderful would have had the game out on the Xbox Series X|S and PC so much sooner, but after years of waiting, we now have a timeline to look for. Postal A new Postal game is on the way to us all with Postal: Bullet Paradise, and it looks like things are even more dystopian than ever Just when you thought the Dude might have had his last run, timelines switch up and give us Postal: Bullet Paradise. A new title in the line of the IP with Goonswarm Games working on it, and Running With Scissors bringing it all to the PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC in 2026. All to keep the Postal IP alive, shooting up all of the things, and keeping the toilet humor flowing out there. Assassin’s Creed Assassin’s Creed Shadows has now launched on the Switch 2, and we have a bit of fun seeing how Assassin’s Creed Shadows will run Those looking to take their kills on the go with Assassin’s Creed Shadows can do that today, as the game has now launched on the Nintendo Switch 2. A day that I know some fans have been waiting for, and others waiting to see how Ubisoft will handle the port over to the new mobile console. Dispatch The final two episodes for Dispatch are on the way to us this week so we can finish our days in the Dispatch center Just as they always do, good things have to come to an end, and this week we will see that for Dispatch. The final two episodes of the story are dropping on the PS5 and PC this coming November 12th for us all to enjoy. As if we have not been enjoying the run of the game since AdHoc Studio brought it all to us with the massive voice cast. We have just had Dispatch spoon-fed to us over the last few weeks, and thankfully, it was two episodes a week for the last four and not one a week for eight weeks. Read More...

It is out there now, and I am sure that MANGLEDmaw Games is holding its breath to see if the final chapter of the story is going to hit players as hard as the first two chapters. A little hard to know, with DreadXP still listing that it will also hit the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S down the line for more fans of Amanda The Adventurer.
