This is going to be the ninth official title in the mainline of the IP that Capcom has been bringing us for decades now. Something truly new, even if it looks like we will go back to a few places from the past in the Resident Evil story. The tease of Project 007 is finally revealed as we have the full announcement and look at 007 First Light now It has only taken five years, but here we are with the official announcement for 007 First Light. It is hard to think that it has been in the shadows for that long over at IO Interactive, but here we are fresh out of the State Of Play with the announcement. Sadly, the announcement does tell us that we are going to have to wait until 2026 to actually get to experience the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Not only for the game, but also with how some of the features of the Unreal Engine have been altered for all to use and to make this title look and run smoother than it could have in the past.
