Sony will stop making physical PlayStation games in 2028, and claiming it is all because of how we play PlayStation games If the news about Sony removing movies that you might have purchased on the PlayStation did not already rub you the wrong way, get ready for that to flow over into your video games in the future. In a decision where the writing was already on the wall, it looks like they will be halting all physical disc production of games when January 2028 rolls around. From the sounds of it, it will be all PlayStation games and not those that are first-party titles on the consoles moving forward. Read More...

The first real gameplay for Turok: Origins is here, so we can all see how this will build into the Turok IP It has been a good amount of time since we first heard that Turok: Origins, with Saber Interactive staying quiet on the title for some time now. A little too quiet, as it has been about two years since we first had the announcement, and not much else has come for the game since then. Seeing as it is still being claimed to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Fall, it would be nice to see where we are in the development cycle. As you have, most likely, already figured out, here we go with our first look at the gameplay that Turok: Origins will be giving us. Read More...

A voyage that all Assassin’s Creed fans might enjoy a little more on the PS5 Pro. As long as all of the extra little features that version of the game will have you gearing up to hit the high seas over on that platform. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go, wrapping up one more week and covering so many video games and pop culture things going on out there in the world. Some are to get us all ready for SDCC 2026, and others are to build into EVO 2026, which is going on as you are reading all of this. Not too shabby after cleaning up all of the titles we missed, like Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival from before. The annual SDCC Fandom Party is on, with another fun headliner announced to play this year’s SDCC Fandom Party If there was any doubt that we would see Fandom back at SDCC again, you can put all of that to rest. The ninth annual party has now been set for the convention, and we have a list of what to expect and who will be bringing us all together in the fun after hours. That's also not to say that there will not be a lot of things we did not expect to be out there again, but that is for all involved to surprise us all with. Even if we do know that Halo: Campaign Evolved will be a big hit out there, along with all of the visual novels that Z2 Comics has brought us in the past. Read More...

Styx is getting a new way to tackle all of the missions in Styx: Blades Of Greed with a New Game+ update It has been a few months since we all had a chance to join a new heist in Styx: Blades Of Greed, and now we have a new and big update for the game. Just when you thought that Cyanide Studios might have moved on to the next big title to have Nacon publish, they drop a New Game+ update on us all. All to give us another reason to head back into Styx: Blades Of Greed to give all of the missions another try, just with all of the upgrades and abilities that we have unlocked before the end credits rolled the first time. That or to give new players another reason to keep the fun going after their first experience with this little, thieving goblin out there in the fantasy world on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A new look at another Invincible character is here to get us ready for The Immortal to join in Invincible VS We all knew that The Immortal was coming to Invincible VS, and now we have a better look at the character before June 30th hits us next week. That will be when The Immortal and Universa will be added into the game by Quarter Up and Skybound to further expand the roster with the DLC. It will also be a way that we can have that revenge story from Invincible play out a bit, along with all of the others we have had a chance to explore since the game launched on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of that said, let us have a look at just what The Immortal will bring to the table, given that he generally has the same powers and strengths as many of the other fighters we have had up to now. Dive into the gameplay features for SAW: Genesis to see how this all might build further into the SAW IP The announcement for SAW: Genesis left many of us scratching our heads with the premise and story. That is to say the least. Not that it sounded like it would be a bad game from Anshar Studios and Broken Mirror Games. Just that it felt like it was outside the norm of the IP so much that it might not work. Then again, Bloober Team has been backing so many great projects as of late, it would have been bad form to just dismiss SAW: Genesis based just on the story and setting. Read More...

See some of the new gameplay coming for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, and learn what it takes to make it through There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Things are starting to flow out even more for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, as we have a little more of the gameplay to take in, along with a fun behind-the-scenes interview to help give us all a little more context to what is going on in the game. Not that Friday Sundae has not already done a wonderful job with all of that. It is just nice to get something new to look at and explain why we are going to have so many musical numbers in There Are No Ghosts At The Grand. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. We have been doing what we can to catch up to all of the announcements and updates we have had up to now, but we still have many more to go. Horror title, The Pines, offers up a new look at the gameplay and world that we can expect out there in The Pines It looks as if it is time to head into a new and dark wooded area, with some new gameplay that we have for The Pines. A new psychological horror title for the PC that Studio Abattoir has been working on for a bit, and now we get to see more of that gameplay after a bit of a wait. A bit of gameplay that shows off how this RPG, of sorts, will allow for all of our choices to come about and mean something out there in The Pines. Not to mention, something that will make us all question our own sanity and that of our characters as we watch the events play out. Read More...
