Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally put a pin in this week for video games and everything else we had going on during the week. Mostly it was video games, but there was the "fun" of trying to get hotels for SDCC in the mix too. That is a whole different story that will be in the works in the future and not the biggest highlight for the week here. Amanda The Adventurer The final chapter of Amanda The Adventurer is on the way to us all with the recent announcement we have for Amanda The Adventurer 3 Just when you thought we all might be done with the adventure, we have the announcement for Amanda The Adventurer 3. Although, this one sounds like it will be the final chapter for the story that MANGLEDmaw Games is building for us based around a fictional TV show. The Amanda The Adventurer titles have been a bit of a cult hit with indie horror fans out there, and now we are going to see how things are going to wrap up. At least, sometime in 2025 when the game lands on the PC out there, and then presumably on the consoles a little bit further down the line. Read More...

DOOM More of that sweet DOOM gameplay is out there as we see a new realm we will get to explore in DOOM: The Dark Ages The thoughts that DOOM: The Dark Ages was going to start to dip into the Lovecraftian horrors out there seem like they have merit now. That is, id Software is finally here to show off a new realm that we have yet to see in any game and it will be touching a bit more on that cosmic horror that the other genre is known for. Here we go with the DOOM Slayer entering into the Cosmic Realm when the game launches on May 15th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Outlast The trials are picking back up in the world of Outlast as the next season of content is here for The Outlast Trials The doors have been opened up and the next wave of trials are finally here for those brave enough to go back into The Outlast Trials. Project Relapse has kicked off and Red Barrels has added much more than just the usual stuff to keep us all in check and going through the various tests to survive all manner of pain out there. The Jaeger being one of the bigger additions, with it being a new stalker in the maps out there. One that is going to hone in on one target and keep going until it is dead. Read More...

Directive 8020 It is time to start meeting the crew for Directive 8020 as we get a few more looks into the horrors Directive 8020 will throw at us It feels like we have so much time from now until we will get to see what is going on in Directive 8020, with October 2nd still so far away, but that does not mean we cannot all enjoy more for the game. Like, in this instance, getting to know the characters we are going to help guide through the horrors that Supermassive Games will be placing us all in. Oblivion Get ready to stop the forces of Oblivion once more with the reveal & release for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered There were a few rumors and "leaks" out there and it looks as if it was all true, we have The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered out there now. I do mean out there now, with Virtuos and Bethesda getting this whole thing packaged up, announced, and released all today. Also, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, for those who want to head back into the world out there and face off with the various evil forces of Oblivion once more. TRON The Glitch is hitting us all once more in TRON with a look at more of the gameplay we will be uploaded into when TRON: Catalyst launches The loop is about to kick off again as we wait for the rest of TRON: Catalyst to load up on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC out there. We Still have about two months before Bithell Games has it all ready and Big Fan Games is able to deliver it on June 17th, but now is the time to start going deeper into the code of it all out there. All with the silly TRON jokes and to see the various ways we will need to interact with the world out there. Outlast Season three for The Outlast Trials is on the way and it looks like the Outlast universe is going to win out just a bit more Well, if you thought escape from The Outlast Trials was going to be a thing, it looks like those thoughts need to be put to rest. Not only because the story of the game is placing us back in the mix of things, but because Red Barrels is bringing us all the third season of content for the game. Not just in the way of a new enforcer or more cosmetics to pick up and decorate with. Cronos New gameplay for Cronos: The New Dawn is here and it showcases something a bit more terrifying going on in Cronos: The New Dawn Patience is a virtue we all needed to have when it came to Cronos: The New Dawn, and it is paying off now with us finally getting some gameplay for the game out there. This would be the next big horror title that Bloober Team is gearing up for us after having such a smash hit with the recent version of Silent Hill 2. Into The Fire Go further Into The Fire with some extended gameplay that we have for the upcoming title Into The Fire Those who thought fighting fires might be too intense in real life will soon get a chance to see how it can go down in the upcoming Into The Fire. That is not to say that Starward Industries is working on a firefighting simulation for the PC with this title, but that is going to be a bit of an aspect to it all. That is based on the gameplay we have for Into The Fire to share with you as we wait for the full game to come out and see if we have what it takes to fight off all of those little fire demons out there. That is not a metaphor either, as you will see we will be fighting of some real demons in the mix of things while also doing what a good firefighter would be doing in some chaos like this. Project Pantheon A new teaser for Project Pantheon is out there with Project Pantheon giving us a vastly different post-apocalypse out there than we have had The gods are no more out there, and it is time to try to pick up some of the pieces out there with Project Pantheon. A new Action PRG title from WOLCEN Studio that will have us entering into a deal with Death itself and trying to bring some order to the chaos that has come from all of this. All in a new hack-and-slash RPG with some extra extraction gameplay elements in the mix for the PC. That is the higher concept for Project Pantheon, but it does look as if there could be something deeper when it all comes to the story, too. Read More...

The Last Of Us If you need the full story of The Last Of Us then you have the new option here for The Last Of Us Complete Just ahead of the launch of the new season of the TV show, here we go with the launch for The Last Of Us Complete. This is a new compilation of the remastered versions of the games and all of the DLC that Naughty Dog has put out there all in one place on the PS5. A weird move to do with how long the IP has been out there and all of the options so far, but a solid way to help promote The Last Of Us show. That and to make sure that fans of the IP or new converts have the option to play the whole story all in one go. Read More...

Alters The release date for The Alters is finally set and we will be able to experience in full all of the different ways this Alters live The days are coming to a close in terms of us needing to wait to get to experience all that The Alters has to offer up to the world. Not just because 11 Bit Studios is just working non-stop on the game, but that we have finally hit a point where there is a solid release date for us to spy on for the game. I hope you have had fun with all of those demos and trials out there, as The Alters will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on June 13th. Okay, there is a little more time to experience the samples and videos we have for the game thus far, but now we know when the full version of the game will be here for us all to experience and be "All By Myselves" with when we load it up.
