John Morley

The release date for The Last Case Of John Morley is set, and we will soon get to see this last case that John Morley is taking on

It will soon be time to don all of our detective gear again, with the new release date we have for The Last Case Of John Morley. A title that barely came onto the scene not too long ago, as Indigo Studios made the announcement, and now JanduSoft is bringing it all to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So, don't be shocked if you missed all of the buildup to this release date, as it was a very short turnaround from announcement to now. Doubling down on that, it looks as if the turnaround to the release date to join John Morley will be just as short. That is, the release date is now set for November 27th of this year. Only a few weeks now, and it has only been on the case for a few months. A very fast iteration out there.

Given how fast this announcement to launch for the game has gone, let's dig into what it is actually going to be playing. Well, as the name says, we will be taking on the role of John Morley, who also happens to be a detective out there in the world of the 1940s. There is an unsolved murder that we have been tasked to figure out, so the true killer may be brought to justice. That is when the first-person investigation gameplay will come in for The Last Case Of John Morley. Gameplay that will have us solving some puzzles, recreating scenes, and going through a dialog system that will have us trying to catch people in their lies, and to uncover more of the truth, so we can carry on in this 3-hour narrative title that looks like it should be a game in the horror genre. At least in terms of a supernatural horror and not just that of a real killer on the loose in the world kind of horror. Have a look and see what will be coming to us all in a few weeks from now.

Lady Fordside implores Morley to investigate the unsolved murder of her daughter, which occurred on a fateful night 20 years ago. The police had closed the case by arresting scapegoats, but the countess is convinced that the real killer remains at large.
