It Is Time For Some Hardcore Magic Parkour For Forspoken
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Forspoken Dive deeper into the parkour system coming in Forspoken that will have us blending magic and free-running in the world When we get whisked away to a far-off land out there and granted magical powers, the first thing we try to do is beef up our Parkour skills in the mix. Maybe that is just our protagonist we have here for Forspoken and the way we glide on into the latest update that we have for the game as Luminous Productions puts on the final touches before January 24th of 2023. That is when Forspoken is still slated to hit the PS5 and PC, so we best get to know how we are going to be putting all of these new-found powers to use in the game. This time with a little bit of magical parkour. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/17/22 — 10/21/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all should have assumed for this time of year and week, most of the video games we had updates for here were horror-based. Some we knew were coming and others that were poorly-kept rumors out there. I am looking at you Silent Hill. Even if that was a huge shock to see things were going to be more than just a remaster of decades-old titles. Read More...

God Of War: Ragnarök Shapes More Of The Story We Are Going To Love
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The story of God Of War: Ragnarök has taken a bit of shaping since the previous God Of War title we have had It is time, once more, to go behind the scenes and see how some of our games are made and shaped out there, with God Of War: Ragnarök being the next on the list. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times… As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to stick a fork in this week as it is done and we had so many video games to talk about this week. Some on the side of titles launching soon as God Of War: Ragnarök and Gotham Knights and others are a still bit of a way off, as the Dead Space Remake is currently. Not to mention a whole lot more for video games like Marvel’s Midnight Suns that will be out before the end of the year and just in time for the gift-giving season. If that is something you plan on taking part in too. Read More...

God Of War: Ragnarök Will Offer Us All Up Some New Immersion For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The PS5 version of God Of War: Ragnarök will have a few more options to get us further into the God Of War setting For those that have a PS5, it should come as no surprise that this is going to be the system that will show off God Of War: Ragnarök in the best way. I am sure that the PS4 version will still be excellent, but Santa Monica Studio is given much more to work with on the new system and you can see that up to now already. Both in the trailers and gameplay we have had for Ragnarök and the full update they put out there for God Of War in the past. Now, though, we can see a bit more out there to see how this version will take us even deeper into the game when it drops on November 9th. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II Will Offer Up Many Differences For The PC Gamers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The PC version of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II is going to give us much more customization when it comes to this Call Of Duty Here we go with one more look at what is coming to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II when it hits the PC on October 28th. It is still hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S then too, but this is all about what Infinity Ward is able to add in on this platform that the others are just not able to handle. There is always a lot more than the PC can do over the consoles, and with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II it is a little surprising to find out that there is not all that much more that will be there over the consoles. No, this is not a bad thing, just a wake-up call to the fact that the consoles are truly starting to close that gap between it all. Read More...

Your Team Might Be The Ultimate Weapon In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of September 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty More Call Of Duty footage is here with the showcasing of what we can look to expect in the multiplayer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II As if we would ever have a Call Of Duty title out there now that does not have some form of multiplayer mixed in. Ever since it was locked with the popularity of the first instance, it has been a staple and something that gamers always complain about. No matter how many new features, changes, or upgrades that are mixed in. Gamers are generally terrible is what I am going with here. Read More...

Gori: Cuddly Carnage Will Be Hacking Its Way Onto So Many Platforms Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of September 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Gori The official platform list for Gori: Cuddly Carnage is set for 2023 as we see more on how Gori will be slashing through so many more enemies Up to now, it was only assumed that we were going to be seeing Gori: Cuddly Carnage on the PC alone. All of that was due to the fact that Angry Demon Studio and Wired Productions had yet to truly mention which platforms would get a chance for this ‘skate ‘n’ slash’ title. Even though we still have to wait until 2023, we do get to get the excitement going for Gori: Cuddly Carnage all around since the game is now coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Pretty much all of the major platforms will get to see this little psycho kitty out there now. Read More...

Death Is Going To Need To Earn Us In God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A new story trailer for God Of War: Ragnarök is here to prep us all for the next big chapter into the God Of War saga It feels like November 9th is never going to get here with each new epic bit of content we have for God Of War: Ragnarök get dropped out there. This latest bit is just as epic when it comes to everything Santa Monica Studio has offered thus far, but it does dive a bit into the story of things, so get ready for a few possible spoilers. Not that we have been able to always call the story beats of any of the God Of War titles as they hit, but just needed to note for those that want a completely pure experience when it hits the PS4 and PS5. Even if it does feel like it is just highlighting a few things we all knew was coming to the game beyond more of the parent struggles of raising a teenager in some harsh times out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of September 2022 - 11:00 PM ]

Cyberpunk 2077 has some new DLC on the way, God Of War: Ragnarök showed off the new realms we will be able to explore, and Evil Dead: The Game expanded itself just a bit more to keep us all busy this weekend with so many video games out there. As long as you are willing to dive in and give them all a solid play instead of heading out to the various conventions going on out there currently. Read More...

Enter Into Svartalfheim With The Latest For God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of September 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War Another realm for God Of War: Ragnarök is finally here with the lands of the Dwarves putting the God Of War to new challenges We have been told that we will be able to go to all of the realms in God Of War: Ragnarök after having a few limited or just blocked out in the last title. It totally worked for the story but it felt odd that Santa Monica Studio still left the options in the game with telling us a big "no" when trying to access them. Thankfully, when God Of War: Ragnarök launches on November 9th for the PS4 and PS5, we will get access to those new worlds out there and we have a small sample of one of those realms right now. It is on the slight side, but here we go with a look at Svartalfheim in the game for us all for the first time. Read More...
