Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Gods, this was a fast week here for us and all of the lead-up for so many video games. A lead-up that will most likely pay off next week with the virtual E3 popping off and so many updates coming to us during the week. Biomutant We sit down and review Biomutant. A new post-apocalypse action-RPG with little furry Kung Fu creatures. Here is our review of Biomutant It has been a good clip since we had a new action-RPG IP come out there and this is why I had my eyes on Biomutant. This is the latest from Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic that had a bit of a rough cycle to get out there but is finally on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC for us to enjoy. Even if it is still waiting for the next-gen push so the game will run natively. Ratchet & Clank A fun video for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is here to showcase the history for Ratchet & Clank and maybe a bit of a tease Next week, we are going to get to see the full version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart out there on the PS5 and I know the hype is off the charts for the game over here. After The Fall The developers of After The Fall are here to offer up a look at how a new enemy in After The Fall will try to bring us down The horrors are creeping out much more in After The Fall with a closer look at another of the creatures shambling out there. This is a VR FPS title hitting all of the PC platforms and the PSVR for the PS4 and PS5 if Vertigo Games has anything to say about it. Something that they do here with the latest creature showcase for After The Fall where we get to see two new ones we will have to deal with. All on our own or with some friends in the same setting. Horizon New gameplay for Horizon Forbidden West takes us all over the new world we are exploring in Horizon Forbidden West Aloy is finally back in some kind of action after we had the short and small announcement for Horizon Forbidden West a while back. It feels like it has taken quite a while to get to where we are now for the game and it looks like Guerrilla Games is ready to give us what we have all been waiting for. That would be a deep dive into some of the new gameplay and actions we will be seeing in this new Horizon title here. While we do not have a date for when it is will be hitting the PS5 this year, we do get a whole lot of new actions we will get for this adventure while we are also taking down all forms of new mechanical dangers out there. Pathfinder Take in more for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous as we see the paths we might be going down in this Pathfinder experience The development for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is flowing forward well and smoothly from what we have heard from Owlcat Games and we still have September 2nd to look at for all to get in on the game on PC. Thankfully, we are here to not talk about any kind of delay after its last great showing of the game for us and are here to start sharing a bit more of the story for those that may not be up on it all. House Of Ashes The first look & gameplay for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes is here to give us a look at new features coming with House Of Ashes We have all waited patiently for the gameplay showing for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes and now we are finally here to take a dive into it all. Many out there might be thinking that it will be pretty much the same as we have seen from Supermassive Games over the last few titles that have all been Choose Your Own Horror titles, but it looks like that might be a bit wrong for this one. They have been evolving the formula over time and giving players a bit more of what they want, and besides going to another modern setting this one might deliver more. Escape From Naraka A new first-person survival platformer, Escape From Naraka, is announced with us running to try to Escape From Naraka and its mythology Get those virtual running shoes on, as we have another platformer in a first-person view coming at us with Escape From Naraka having its announcement here. This would be the latest title from XeloGames and Headup heading to the PC in Q3 of this year that looks to take us to some mystical lands while we run to survive it all. All forms of Balinese legends and mythologies will be abound in Escape From Naraka as we try to master the speed and running of the world while trying to dodge all of the dangers it might possess. Ratchet & Clank A bit more of the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s story is revealed on how this will try to be a different Ratchet & Clank than we have had before The almost launch party keeps going for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with the next, and maybe final, video for it all and this one brings along a bit more story to enjoy. Not all of the story, as Insomniac Games does want us to play, but a little bit of the story to get us all ready for June 11th. Dead By Daylight The next chapter for Dead By Daylight is coming with Resident Evil offering Dead By Daylight a new killer and two survivors to play with It is all the rage right now and it looks as if Dead By Daylight is going to jump in on it by adding in a bit of the Resident Evil flair into the game on June 15th. This would be the next DLC that will be coming to the game as Behaviour adds in a new killer and two more survivors for us to play around with in the game. God Of Riffs Heavy Metal VR Rhythm game, God Of Riffs, will be hitting an Early Access in July to see if you really are the God Of Riffs out there When it comes to rhythm and VR games out there, we all know there is one leading the way, which is why it is nice to see another one going out there as we have for God Of Riffs. It is one coming from Boss Music Games and Vyersoft for the Oculus hardware via Steam that looks to bring the style of game to those who prefer some harder music out there. Harder by the way of God Of Riffs bringing some heavy metal music in the flow of it all while using the basic gameplay loop we have seen in other rhythm games out there. Read More...

Ratchet & Clank The not-so-launch party for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart continues with a look at a few more planets Ratchet & Clank will explore The pre-launch content for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still coming and it looks like the wait is not going to be long between all of these. I guess, Insomniac Games has a whole lot that they want to share with us for the game before June 11th runs up on us and we can experience it all on the PS5. This time around, as teased in the last video, we have more of the planets and exploration we will have in this Ratchet & Clank. New worlds and new dimensions do kind of allow for all of that to come at us in a quick and unique way here, so it makes sense. Read More...

Biomutant New videos for Biomutant have dropped to show us how Biomutant will look and run on the next-gen systems out there Not too long ago we had a solid look at the various ways that Biomutant will look and run on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We only have another week to wait until we get to see that all happen in our own homes the May 25th but it is nice to see how it could with the video compression and internet delays. Now we get to see just how the PS5 and Xbox Series X are going to flex on Biomutant with the coming update that Experiment 101 will have to make the game run a bit better on the newer hardware. It feels a bit odd to have that kind of delay after the massive info dump we had before, yet here we are and it looks like there is a bit of a good reason for that bit of delay. Read More...
