The Ranger Is Front And Center For Hood: Outlaws & Legends
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Hood The first character class for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is here and it is the tradition Robin Hood class for it all It is always good to see when games based on lore, as Hood: Outlaws & Legends is, try to stick closer to the source in general. Given that this is going to be a multiplayer heist game, it makes sense from the start, but also when you look at the various character classes Sumo Newcastle is offering up there will be some expectation. This is where the latest video series for the game comes in to give us a look at the classes with the first being the Ranger. A class that is that of Robin Hood in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Mortal Shell A Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition is on its way to us so the next-generation systems can run Mortal Shell as best as possible As was to be expected, we have a Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition on the way to bring the PS5 and Xbox Series X a new version of the game that will run natively on the consoles. This feels like it is going to be running news for the next year, but we definitely wanted to make sure everyone out there was aware of it. Review — Pumpkin Jack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of February 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Pumpkin Jack We sit down and review Pumpkin Jack. A spooky action-platformer that feels a little familiar. Here is our review of Pumpkin Jack While Pumpkin Jack may have been released a few months ago on the various other platforms, it did not get to try to shine on the PS4 until now. Yes, this game is currently out on the consoles here and it looks as if Headup Games was trying to take the time to make sure it worked well here. That can be a bit of a benefit for those looking to have a game on their system of choice while others vet out any bugs that could be there. Now we have Pumpkin Jack on this new platform and we are diving in with a review of the game. Read More...

In Sound Mind New artwork and platforms for In Sound Mind have been revealed with a Deluxe version of In Sound Mind coming with the game’s soundtrack It may not be major news, but there is a new update for In Sound Mind that will pull the attention of some of the gaming base out there. The game is now heading to the Nintendo Switch when it launches. This adds one more option to the growing list of the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC that we already had. There is still not a specific release date set down for In Sound Mind to launch as of yet, but I have a feeling that might not be that far off to be announced. Read More...

Review — The Medium
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Medium We sit down and review The Medium. A new horror game that has us balancing two different worlds. Here is our review of The Medium The horror titles keep flowing out from Bloober Team and they keep moving away from the walking simulators we have seen many times before the launch of The Medium. This being the latest in the line of titles from the studio as they try new things to engage the gamers and give us more compelling and frightening stories to enjoy. The big thing here in The Medium being the use of a Dual World mechanic where the character exists in two different locations at the same time and we must navigate it accordingly. Read More...

Stubbs The Zombie Is On The Way Back In Rebel Without A Pulse Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of February 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Stubbs The Zombie Stubbs The Zombie is coming to all of the current and next-gen systems out there to bring Stubbs The Zombie to a new generation of gamers Here we go with a title that I have been dreaming of getting back into the mix with Stubbs The Zombie heading back out with Rebel without A Pulse after a long time waiting. After a long fifteen-year wait that we have had here, it looks as if Aspyr Media has opted to bring the zombie back out for us on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. All of the big ones here even though Stubbs The Zombie did hit the PC way back when it was out the first time. Read More...

Binary Smoke Is Announced And Coming For Your PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of February 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Binary Smoke A new third-person title, Binary Smoke, is announced with Binary Smoke giving us all one more sci-fi action-adventure to add into the mix Add another PC gaming announcement out there for us all with Binary Smoke coming our way on the PC. This would be the upcoming title flowing to us all out of Outside Game Studio that will offer us one more way to look at the future. A heavily Sci-Fi future where humanity has created sentient digital lifeforms that somehow spawn some supernatural powers. It seems like a little bit of an odd thought to have for a game like this, but that is the short description of the story for Binary Smoke as it all stands. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Fallujah Military shooter, Six Days In Fallujah, is aiming to come to us all again and tell more of the true stories that took place during the Second Battle for Fallujah The announcement for Six Days In Fallujah is here again and it looks like the project is picking up to be released this year on the PC and consoles out there. Before you dive into it all, this is partially the same title that Atomic Games announced over a decade ago but now is picked up by Highwire Games and Victura to get out there. Obviously, this version of Six Days In Fallujah is aiming to hit the more modern technologies but still looking to tell the true stories of what happened during the battles that took place in the game's setting. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week is finally over and we can move on to lose ourselves in all of those video games out there once again. This time with an extended weekend if you like in the United States. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One Offers Up A Taste Of The Coming Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Sherlock A new tease for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes Chapter One gives us a look at how Sherlock will be solving and handling mysteries It looks like we did not have to wait long until we had our first taste of actual gameplay for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One since last we heard anything for the game. We are still ways out from it launching, but it is nice to see how some of the game will be handled here by Frogwares. Something that looks like it will place this Sherlock Holmes in some fun action-oriented scenes while still going into a full investigation mode for things out there. Read More...
