Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, it was a shorter week for us, given that we just made it all back from SDCC. That did not mean we did not have a whole lot to share out there for the week in video games and all of the other aspects, just that we had such little time. Hellraiser Hellraiser fans can start to lose their minds with the announcement of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival clawing into our eyes soon Another horror IP is getting a full game made for it as we have the announcement for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? DEADCAM The Early Access for DEADCAM is finally here and we can all see if the horrors of DEADCAM will live up to the hype Just as quickly as the filming started, the Early Access for DEADCAM is finally here for the PC. Those looking to have a terrifying "found footage" experience can now do so in a way, while also helping out the developer make sure that each of the "recordings" flows well into a grand story. That and to make sure the core gameplay of it all works, as we will need to survive many little encounters in the mix of DEADCAM, and those will be a true test of things too. Twisted Metal Twisted Metal will be bringing more cars out to SDCC this year, with panels and a fun Twisted Metal bumper car experience Just ahead of the second season for Twisted Metal, we are getting some extra fun out at SDCC 2025. It was pretty much expected at this point after Peacock put on a fun little showing just before the first season and then took it on a tour. For those who will be in the San Diego area for the massive convention, you will get treated to another fun slice of the Twisted Metal universe with a different spectacle. South Park South Park is making another big splash out at SDCC 2025 with a few panels and fan experience for all South Park fans After a few little hiccups, South Park is finally making its way back with a new season. We are not going to go into any of that as we get excited to see what Comedy Central is going to drop out there for us. Sadly, the first episode is going to drop during SDCC 2025. Disney All of the Disney IPs are on the way for us at SDCC 2025 with many events, experiences, and panels from Disney Entertainment Television With all of the weird mergers going on out there, it is nice to see that Disney is still going to bring so many of their IPs back to SDCC this year. Some of them, we all might not even know that were part of the new-ish umbrella, but will have a massive presence out there. Some of them will just be basic photo-ops, others will be panels, and others will have some extra events and parties going down for them. The Lodge Paramount+ is bringing The Lodge back to SDCC in 2025, and here is a look at all the fun The Lodge will open up for us For the fourth year running, Paramount+’s The Lodge is on the way back to SDCC 2025. A solid little showcase and bit of fun for fans of the various shows that Paramount+ has running or will be launching soon. Given how it has been in the past, this is going to be one of the fun events going on during the convention that will have many lining up again. Tony Hawk Officer Dick is coming back to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and he is bringing a friend for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 It looks like more fun is on the way for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 with Officer Rick taking up a board and shredding with the greats out there. A character that would have been odd to not see Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision not bring in, as he has been a staple in so many of the titles over the years. All the way back to the origins of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater when it first last, if my memory serves. The only difference is that this one has a new and maybe better design for the character. Gloomy Eyes A new cozy horror title, Gloomy Eyes, is officially announced with Gloomy Eyes offering up some new self-co-op play We are always on the lookout for some new, and strange horror titles around here, and I think Gloomy Eyes might just be one to scratch some itches around here. No, this is not going to be some massive and gore-filled title that one might expect, but a new title on the way from Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales to offer us all a sweet little treat in the mix. With Gloomy Eyes taking more of a whimsical approach to things, with terms like Little Nightmares meets Tim Burton being tossed around here. Dispatch A demo for Dispatch is out there on the PC so we can all see if Dispatch is going to be the superhero game for us all The call center is one step closer to being open, as we now have a demo out there for Dispatch on the PC. This would be the new superhero title that AdHoc Studio is putting together for us that has some fairly large voice talent behind it all. It has been a little bit of time since it was revealed to be a game out there, so it is not a massive shock if you need a solid reminder. Atomic Heart The sequel to Atomic Heart is officially on the way and it looks like Atomic Heart 2 will open things up even further After such an amazing showcase of what Mundfish could do, it would have been insane to not think we were not going to be seeing an Atomic Heart 2 out there in the world. If you thought it was not going to happen, then here is your wake-up call to let you know the sequel is on the way. More of that fun we had in Atomic Heart, and on a bigger scale as they offer up an all-new story for us to fight our way through on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it is fully ready. ILL Horror is going down a very Ill path out there with the latest video showcasing the gameplay of the upcoming ILL Game Now that we have been able to get most of the cringy puns out of the way, here we go with an official look at the upcoming ILL. A title that Team Clout has been working on for a while now and one of the first titles that Mundfish Powerhouse will be releasing into the wild on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While some might hear the name ILL and start to think it is something in the gangster community, this one is definitely not something from that slice of the world. Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title is on the way with the recent announcement out there for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 The cat is out of the bag and the next in the line of the Black Ops titles is on the way with the announcement for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7. The firefights and violence just do not stop with the line that Treyarch is working toward for our futures out there, but if it did, we would not have a video game to play. That or the chance to see how the stories of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6 have been building and leading to this dark future that the IP is offering up. DEADCAM A new found footage horror game, DEADCAM, is officially revealed with DEADCAM offering up many new experiences in the genre It truly does feel like we are hitting the era of bodycam and found footage horror out there with our video games, with the official reveal we have for DEADCAM. This is a title that has been in the works for a while now from Joure Visser, but now is the time to dig into what is actually on the way to us all. Moreover, as DEADCAM will be looking to hit an Early Access stage soon and the gamers of the world will need to know what is coming.
