Resident Evil Veronica Officially Shambles Its Way Into Existence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The Resident Evil remakes keep coming, with the official announcement that we now have for Resident Evil Veronica The fans have been crying out for it, and after a solid run at remakes that Capcom has been giving us all, we are finally getting Resident Evil Veronica. This would be a remake of the Code Veronica title from so long ago for those who are not fully up on their gaming lore, even if the title should have given that away a little bit. That all said, it was revealed to us and the world that Resident Evil Veronica will be giving this little title a new bit of life with a release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC in 2027. That is a bit of a turnaround for it all, given that we just had the recent mainline title release this year, but they do have quite a few working on the IP over there, so I can see how that can all flow out there. This Week In Video Games 6/2/26 — 6/5/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Even as I am writing this little update, the week is still going strong, and so many video games are getting announced and revealed out there. Partially, as the Summer Game Fest continues on, along with the IGN Live event that will go down over the weekend. We cannot allow that to take away from the big things we saw this week with God Of War Laufey, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Until Dawn 2 getting a showcase during the week, but that does mean that the week is not fully over. Just what we can handle with the load around here for all of the video games. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 5th of June 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The release date is here for Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis, and we will be off to the new Tomb Raider adventure early in 2027 The adventure is building up as we all wait for Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. A solid build since we had the first announcement that this was going to be the next massive title in the IP that Crystal Dynamics has crafted for us. There was just not much in the way of knowing when we should be ready for that to hit us all. Now, though, we have the announcement that Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis will bring all of this adventure to those platforms on February 12th, 2027. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We did have a short week around here when it came to video games, but it was still a solidly full week. I will always blame the weird holiday structure that we have to go through, but that is getting way off topic. Especially when we could be talking about the new things for Dead By Daylight and the various things we had for The Backrooms pop up around here. We had the full launch of 007 First Light and also had a chance to test out some music content on the site for you with the Amonklok Tour we had a chance to take in. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/18/26 — 5/22/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of May 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we all go, with one more week in the books and so many more video games and non-video game things to cover out there. It was definitely pop culture-related and had some interactive media to it, so Universal Fan Fest Nights will also have a place here, just like Horror Nights. That aside, it was great to see more for the Resident Evil movie come up, then all leads into titles that are launching or launched this week. Video games like 007 First Light and the latest version of the Darksiders Warmastered Edition certainly topped that bill. Read More...

Resident Evil Takes Us Behind The Scenes To See How It Is Bringing The Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Learn a bit more about the upcoming Resident Evil movie, and see just how it will be heading back to the Resident Evil roots We have had a solid teaser for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, and now it looks as if we get to go behind the scenes a bit more with the film as it is still getting itself settled. The film is still slated to hit theaters on September 18th, so there is still a bit of time for things to change. Although there does seem to be one element that we should not expect to change for this Resident Evil film, and that is the fact that we are getting more of the survival horror side of things than the action we have had in the past. Darksiders Warmastered Edition Launches Us All Back Into Heaven Or Hell
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders The Darksiders ride on, with the PS5 & Xbox Series launch for the Darksiders Warmastered Edition War rides again… again… and again… with the launch of the Darksiders Warmastered Edition on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This now brings this version of the game to pretty much every platform that THQ Nordic has the original title on now. A title that I'll still list as one of the top ones out there from a third-party publisher when it comes to all of the consoles. All so we can introduce a whole new wave of gamers to the Darksiders IP before we get the fourth title down the line. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally mark yet another week down as done, and we certainly had a lot to show off in the realm of video games. Try To Further Understand The Mysteries Of Death With Dracula: The Disciple
by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 11th of May 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Dracula Head into Count Dracula’s castle once more, but in a new title that has been announced by way of Dracula: The Disciple We've had many of the classic monsters coming up recently with new titles, and now we are here with Dracula: The Disciple. A new puzzle title on the way to us all from Cyanide Studios and Nacon for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC that will be giving us more of the famed vampire. Although this one might not fall in line as one might expect from a title that has Count Dracula in it. This one will be in a dark and gothic setting, sure, but we are doing more of the research and focusing more on the various puzzles in the game instead of all of the normal nonsense that comes with vampires. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The time has passed right along, and we are at the end of yet another week with so many video games dropping and getting updates. We even had a few hit us up out of nowhere to get us all further excited for Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish and now Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn. Not video games I was expecting this week when it started with Control Resonant. Again, not a bad thing, but we did not plan for so much fun and also getting our Mouse: P. Read More...

Get Ready To Fight More Of The Undead In The World With Decayed
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 4th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Decayed A new post-apocalyptic title, Decayed, is on the way to us to give us another sense on why we need to slay the Decayed humans If there is one thing that the undead have on lock, it is that they keep coming back in new ways, which is what we have going down for Decayed. This would be the new title that is on the way to the PC from LiquidBullet Studios, which will place us into a new post-apocalyptic world where we'll need to face off with more of the undead out there. Along with all of that, just survival in general in the world of Decayed, with that being part of the core gameplay loop as it all sounds with the announcement teaser that has been placed out there in our own hellscape of a world. Let's now see if this new world that is falling will be worth saving, or just another fun romp out there to slay more of the undead that populate all of our video games. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are back, and we were able to get so many fun video games and non-video games covered this week. Mortal Kombat The Mortal Kombat universe is about to expand more, as we have one more teaser for Mortal Kombat II before it hits theaters In just a week, on May 8th, we are all going to get to fucking go with Mortal Kombat II finally hitting theaters out there. A title that many have been waiting for, as it seems to be ditching the parts of the first film that didn't work, while bringing more from the games that fans have been waiting for. Obviously, the big one is Johnny Cage, with Karl Urban behind bringing the character to life. Up to now, we have had a dash of other Mortal Kombat characters pop up and be speculated on, but now we get a nice showcasing of them all. Read More...
