Cronos: The New Dawn Is Ready For A Release With A Whole Lot Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Cronos The release date for Cronos: The New Dawn is in place, and it is time to gear up for when we can actually play Cronos: The New Dawn If you thought it was going to be a long time before you could sit down in the horror world of Cronos: The New Dawn, well, you will have to think again and plan a little better. As it turns out, Bloober Team is close to wrapping on the game, and now we have a release date for it all much sooner than I would have thought. In fact, we are only a month out from it as of this writing, with Cronos: The New Dawn getting a release date of September 5th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Read More...

I Bled Out For SDCC Again This Year For The Annual Blood Drive
by Thomas Harris [ Monday, 4th of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
SDCC I try to donate blood during SDCC each year, and here is my experience with the Blood Drive of SDCC 2025 Every year SDCC has a massive blood drive held in The Grand Hyatt. As usual, when I attend Comic Con, I make sure to stop by this year and offer up a donation that is always critical. I wanted to discuss donating this year, not only to encourage people to give but also to let them know about both the experience and the potential goodies you can pick up. First of all, signing up is easy. A link is posted online every year, and you can sign up in person on the second floor of the convention center or at The Grand Hyatt. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/30/25 — 8/1/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, it was a shorter week for us, given that we just made it all back from SDCC. That did not mean we did not have a whole lot to share out there for the week in video games and all of the other aspects, just that we had such little time. Especially as we are getting everything from Peacefest and Peacemaker out there from SDCC 2025, as well as our fun from the Clown In A Cornfield Experience we had to do. That was not even the video games that were offered out there with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival having the announcement and Toxic Crusaders finally getting a release date. Read More...

Beneath Will Be Rising Up To The Consoles Officially Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Beneath The console announcement for Beneath is officially here, so even more players can see the horrors flowing up from Beneath Maybe I have gone a little mad, as I thought this was something that was announced before, but it does look as if Beneath will be getting a console release for the game when it launches now. Maybe this was something teased before, and Camel 101 was not able to fully confirm at the time, but I was fairly certain the Lovecraftian Shooter was hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it launches this year. All of that said, it is now confirmed, and it looks like this version of Beneath will also have a few of those fun little extras that the consoles are known to bring along with them when games launch out there. There Are Such Sights To Show Us With Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellraiser Hellraiser fans can start to lose their minds with the announcement of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival clawing into our eyes soon Another horror IP is getting a full game made for it as we have the announcement for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? Before you get all worried like we have with the other IPs that have come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this one is not going to be an asymmetric title for once. Read More...

Toxic Crusaders Will Be Bashing Down Our Screens Before The End Of The Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Toxic Crusaders The release date for Toxic Crusaders is finally set, and we can be joining the Toxic Crusaders in the fight before the holiday season So much has been going on in the whirl of SDCC, and it looks like we almost missed the announcement of when we would be able to experience what Toxic Crusaders has in store for us. There was even a little panel about all of the Troma stuff out there where Retroware had a bit of the game on display. Not much we have not already seen, but there was one little key element of it all that was tucked right in there. Read More...

Peacefest 2025 Kicked Off A Great Start To SDCC & To Celebrate Peacemaker
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 31st of July 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Peacefest The Peacefest brought so much to SDCC 2025 to entertain & to allow Peacefest to help usher in Peacemaker season 2 There was a whole lot of hype for Peacefest before we all went out to SDCC 2025, even to the point that tickets for it were so popular that the server crashed for it all. This was not some new or massive con that was going on instead of SDCC, but a fun little off-site event to further hype us all up for the upcoming season 2 of Peacemaker on HBO Max. More of a specialized version of SDCC with Peacefest focusing mainly on the man of the hour. There were many things available for the event, and we were invited to check them all out as it unfolded. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Invincible A beast of a character from Invincible is on the prowl with Battle Beast entering the fight for Invincible VS Grab your mace and get ready for a fight with Invincible VS bringing us all Battle Beast for the fight. A character that I am pretty sure we all knew was coming since his whole schtick is fighting and causing levels of violence in the world. It would have been a truly odd thing if Skybound Games left the beast out of the game, but here we are ready to praise it all. For the glory and honor of the fight, and now we get to see just how Battle Beast will function in Invincible VS when it does come to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of July 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Clown In A Cornfield We had a chance to experience a Clown In A Cornfield out at SDCC to further hype up Clown In A Cornfield from Shudder Talk about all of the experiences we had out at SDCC 2025, but one that hit the top of our lists to check out was what Shudder brought out for Clown In A Cornfield. A film that we have all had the chance to see before now, and is getting a hard push once more for the streaming aspect now that it has had its theatrical run. All through a fun little corn maze that added in some great haunted house elements, and ended with a little bit of an escape room feel at the end. Read More...

Magic: The Gathering And How I Got Pulled Back In
by Raymond Bruels [ Monday, 21st of July 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Magic Let's take a trip to MagicCon 2025 and how it pulled me right back into the fun of Magic: The Gathering Magic: The Gathering, that seminal work by Dr. Richard Garfield had a major impact on my life. A high school buddy introduced me to the game around Unlimited Edition, and we would regularly trade Arabian Nights and Antiquities cards. I loved Legends and The Dark, but around Fallen Empires, I started to get disillusioned. I had gotten into Type 2 tournaments, introduced numerous friends to the game, and watched as stores around Warrensburg; Missouri began running tournaments. Read More...
