Shadows Of The Damned Now Showing Clone-like Symptoms

What I thought was a game that could have been another fun survival horror game seems to be turning into just another clone. Shadows Of The Damned doesn't sound like just a clone in the way of "it has elements" of other games but straight up game play clone. Like for instance a functionality that uses light and darkness to weaken enemies. So Silent Hill and most recently Alan Wake. Damn, that almost worked out to be a palindrome. So close. Unlike the release date of Shadows of the Damned, which recently got pushed back a bit. A date that is now two weeks further away than before, but hey it could have been a lot worse. The game could have been canned altogether. Then where would we be? Prey 2 Live Action Trailer

Bethesda Softworks announced this week Prey 2, and the teaser will make you think twice about putting your cell phone on airplane mode. Prey, which was released back in July of 2006, was originally developed by Human Head Studios. Prey followed the sci-fi adventures of Cherokee Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi. The general story was that he, along with Girlfriend and Grandfather, were beamed up to an alien ship known only as The Sphere. The Sphere has this whole Galactacus complex, as it devours all materials, living or inanimate from our tiny blue planet. Read More...

The E.Nigmas Of Batman: Arkham City

In Batman: Arkham Asylum the Riddler had kind of a small role, even though it was one of the larger side missions in the game. It makes sense when you think about the fact that he didn't physically show up at all in the game. This looks like something that Rocksteady is going to be changing when it comes to Arkham City. The Softer Side Of [Prototype 2]...Kind Of

I don't know what it is about trailers like the one below for [Prototype 2], but I find them fun even though they don't really show off much. I think it is the violent content set to easy listening music that I find just awesomely funny. That's a word isn't it? Awesomely. It is for my purposes now if you don't think it is. Continuing on, here is yet another tease for the game that is still slated for a 2012 release. Batman Catches The Armed Man In Arkham City, Also A Release Date

You know that bastard that gets blamed for everything. That damned one armed man. Well he is running around Arkham City and Batman has him in his sites. Who would have thought that he was actually one of the Joker's clown makeup wearing lieutenants, let alone actually exist? Shadows Of The Damned Prove Women Are Crazy

Recently I just got back from vacation in Utah where I took on their cold weather, snow and a Park City Bobsled Run; all in the same day. As I was waiting for one of my buddies to finish their run, I thought I would play a little Gun Bros on my android phone. Now picture this. I'm on a mountain, in the freezing cold, standing in snow and about to take out my TOUCH-SCREEN phone and play a game. Impossible, I know. With Karate You Can Kick Helicopter Ass In Prototype 2

Ok, so you could really do it in the first [Prototype] but in [Prototype 2] it looks to have been super charged in the new "teaser" that has made its way to the web. It may not be showing much but the game is still a least a year out from launch so what do you expect Radical Entertainment to give us? I mean we should all be surprised that there is a sequel coming out in the first place given the actions of Activision lately. Isaac Isn't The Only One Fighting Through The Sprawl Of Dead Space 2

You know one thing I noticed when playing through Dead Space 2, and the other Dead Space titles for that matter? The lack of other real "hero" types on the ship or Sprawl. Yea Extraction and Ignition had other protagonists, but for the most part they turned out not as heroic as Isaac. I mean Ignition had 2 scenarios where Franco kills Sarah in cold blood. Then you have McNeill in Extraction that seems to have been turned into a Necromorph in the epilogue of the game.* Well, come this March 1st we will get to see another protagonist, from Extraction, try to fit into Isaac's Rig to add another two chapters to Dead Space 2. So No Co-Op In Batman: Arkham City

Well we can put the rumors the Batman: Arkham City co-op video that found its way to the internet started. In a recent interview Sefton Hill from of Rocksteady Studios gave there will be no co-op play in Arkham City. It will be a single player game only. This kind of makes me extremely happy. Especially with the reasons being that they didn't want to take anyone from the team off the work on single player to deliver a rushed co-op mode. Better to have one really good single player game than a shotty single and co-op. On the plus side for you co-op wanters, with the news came a few new screen shots of the game. Read More...

Let's Take The Dead Island Challenge

Yesterday when the trailer for Dead Island hit the internet it caused a huge sensation. It is quite a brilliant trailer to behold. I did happen to notice two things about it though. The main thing is that it caused so many emotional responses, most in the form of crying or tearing up. I'm not talking just women either before you go there guys.
