Clair Obscur We sit down and review Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. A true French JRPG game that most did not see coming. Here is our review of half of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 A true French JRPG game, both in the sense that it was developed by a French company, Sandfall Interactive, and in the sense of a throwback to when JRPGs were turn-based rather than action RPG oriented. While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is turn-based, it keeps the player engaged during enemy turns by incorporating some active elements into the turn-based system, namely that of Dodge and Parry. With successful Dodging and Parrying having more impact beyond the immediate, such as a counterattack with an individual character, or the entire party for enemy attacks that strike the whole party, if you successfully parry all attacks in the attack pattern, as well as potentially gaining more Action Points for your next turn on each character. Killing Floor The new release date for Killing Floor 3 is finally set and we can gear up this July for more of the Killing Floor When it was delayed a few months ago, it was hard to figure out just when Killing Floor 3 was going to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It was vague back then and the beta tests Tripwire Interactive were having did not offer up much in the way of hints. Among Us The Among Us fun keeps on flowing with the recent launch that is out there for Among Us 3D on all of the platforms to survive It is time to blast off again with the recent launch of Among Us 3D for all the various platforms that it was aiming at. I do not think there is a single gaming platform out there that Schell Games and Innersloth do not have this game on in some form or another. Now, we just get it on the PC, and in the various VR settings, it was already out there for so we can further figure out who is a monster and who is not. Painkiller Get armed up with the weapons of Painkiller as we see them all on display while we still wait for the launch of Painkiller With a name like Painkiller, one would expect there to be all kinds of fun weapons and ammo to cause some extra pain out there in the world. That would be my easy assumption for it all and it looks as if Anshar Studios and 3D Realms have seen it the same way. They see it the same way that they are dropping a look at the various weapons we will use in Painkiller to unleash all the hell out there and try to make it back out of purgatory too. Amanda The Adventurer The final chapter of Amanda The Adventurer is on the way to us all with the recent announcement we have for Amanda The Adventurer 3 Just when you thought we all might be done with the adventure, we have the announcement for Amanda The Adventurer 3. Although, this one sounds like it will be the final chapter for the story that MANGLEDmaw Games is building for us based around a fictional TV show. The Amanda The Adventurer titles have been a bit of a cult hit with indie horror fans out there, and now we are going to see how things are going to wrap up. The game is ready to fully launch on April 24th with all that we have seen up to now for the game. Just ahead of the April 24th release date for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Sandfall Interactive has offered up a look at Monoco from the game. This happens to be one of the few playable characters that are not just another human in the mix of Expedition 33. Tony Hawk There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Even if that might be the best option this coming July 11th with how the new console is being handled in the States currently and if you will even be able to have it before this new Tony Hawk remake title drops out there. Expedition The next character for the Expedition is finally here with a bigger warrior here for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 The fight carries on in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and now we have a good look at one of the characters that will be doing a lot of the physical damage along the way. At least this is all based on the description that Sandfall Interactive has given us for Sciel in the game and the gameplay we have to look at for them. Painkiller A new take on Painkiller is on the way to us with the announcement we have for Painkiller for the modern age Talk about a blast from the past, pun intended, with Painkiller coming back at us after more than two decades of nothing for the IP. Not in the way of a remaster on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but in the way of a new take on the IP for the modern age. All as Anshar Studios and 3D Realms aims to give us more of the gun fights that will get us further into Purgatory and maybe into Heaven by the end of it all.
