Lies Of P Will Have Us All Fighting To Stay Out Of The Box
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of August 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Lies Of P More gameplay for Lies Of P has been released with this new bit showing more of the supporting cast we will have in Lies Of P The gameplay keeps flowing out there for Lies Of P and we have a whole lot more of it fresh from Gamescom this year. It definitely looks like this Pinocchio story is going to be vastly different than many have thought of, but I guess that was the point when Round8 Studio set out to make this action Soulslike title. That or they wanted to just have some great callbacks to the original IP while giving us all a nice, dark, and gritty version of the tale. That is all something that they have in spades to show us for Lies Of P as we get more of the combat for the game, but also a little look at the various other characters that will be populating the game's world along the way. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap once more. The week has flown by once more and we had so many video games out there to cover and so many more to come. Even if we did not get many massive releases this week, we did have more for Destroy All Humans! 2, God Of War: Ragnarök, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns to carry us onward here. Not only that, but Raymond also gave us a great recap of SDCC 2022 and how it all sized up for a first-time con-goer. Read More...

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 — It’s A Hell Of A Thing
by Raymond Bruels [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
SDCC This Is A Survivor’s Tale To My San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Experience & Just How SDCC Went Down For Me After five days and over forty miles of walking, I really needed to rest and reflect on my San Diego Comic-Con excursion. As mentioned in my introduction to SDCC 2022 article, this is my first year attending. Despite the countless hours reading posts on Facebook, skimming hundreds of images from past conventions, and grilling my Chief Editor on how various elements worked I can safely say it was not enough preparation. Honestly, I think that is part of the awe and grandeur of SDCC, not knowing just what you are really walking into. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/1/22 — 8/5/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of August 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go wrapping up this week of video games, even if we did dive into a few other things beyond all of that. Given that we just wrapped SDCC and we have Gamescom rolling up on us, it is a bit of a surprise we did not just get lost in all of it. With Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves adding into this week's fun too. I fully recommend looking in on Star Trek: Resurgence and a few of the other lesser-known video games we have coming down the pipes. Read More...

Star Trek: Resurgence Is Going To Have Much More Going On Under The Hood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of August 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Trek While at SDCC, I was able to see Star Trek: Resurgence in a more intimate setting. Here is my take on the latest for Star Trek: Resurgence It has been a bit of time since Star Trek: Resurgence was revealed to the world and showed that we could hold out hope to take command of a different vessel in the setting's universe. Not too much was revealed at that time, but it looks like that was for good reason with Dramatic Labs working hard to make sure the team's interactive storytelling pedigree was put to good use. That is why it was a solid treat to see some live gameplay for Star Trek: Resurgence out at SDCC this year, as well as getting to sit down with two of the game's writers Dan Martin and Andrew Grant.
