This Week In Video Games 8/31/26 — 9/4/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. Halloween: The Game certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the Resident Evil movie, Until Dawn 2, and Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of Maneater 2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 31st of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Warlock A long look at Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons is here, and we get to see some true gameplay for our Warlock character It looks as if someone out there made a great pact with a demon during gamescom this year, as we have a whole lot of new gameplay to look at for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons. We still have to wait until 2027 to get to experience it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC ourselves, but Invoke Studios has been compelled by that pact to give us just what all of us nerds have been longing for. So, get ready to tap into some dark and raw magic out there, with the action RPG style of gameplay that Warlock is going to unleash upon us all. Read More...

The Sinking City 2 Is Launching Its Madness Into Our World Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The Sinking City The Sinking City 2 has launched out there, and we can see where the story of The Sinking City is going to flow All of the worlds seem to be bleeding over now, as The Sinking City 2 has officially launched out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There is no more waiting to head into the darkness and see just how Frogwares will be carrying the story forward while also improving upon the various gameplay mechanics of the 1920s Arkham third-person horror game. I know I have seen some great leaps forward since the original version of The Sinking City, and as soon as I can get the game loaded up, I am going to be heading back into the madness. Although, if you are not as gung-ho on the game as I am, we do have one more look at things to help pull your sanity down a little bit to pick this one up. Read More...

Meet The New Squad We Will Follow In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Get to know the new characters we will have in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and see how they will offer some extra fun in Call Of Duty With each new iteration of the IP, we do seem to get a few new and old characters in the mix, and that is the case again in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Not overly surprising, as it would be nice to see Infinity Ward branch the narrative out a bit more than just the few badasses we normally get out there. All of that is to say, now that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is taking us into a new area of the world that we do not normally get to play in, it would make sense to have a whole new squad that we are going to follow. Star Wars Zero Company Gives Us More To Be Tactical Over For The Game
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 13th of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Zero Company Learn a bit more about how we will need to be tactical in Star Wars Zero Company to ensure that Zero Company makes it through all of the coming missions It feels as if so many release dates are coming up fast, and August 27th is another that will be here soon and bring Star Wars Zero Company to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There's been a lot to take in for the game so far, and Bit Reactor, along with Respawn Entertainment, have been open about most of it. This is a turn-based game in the Star Wars universe, so there's not much that would need to be hidden. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
The Sinking City Head deeper into The Sinking City, with a brand-new look at the gameplay that The Sinking City 2 will have for us very soon So much has been going on for The Sinking City 2 up to now, and with August 18th just around the corner, we should have a good look at the gameplay that we are going to have in the game. That is what I think, and it also seems that Frogwares is on the same page for this, as we have a nice long video to get us ready for when the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that fans of The Sinking City will not already be familiar with what we are going to have to do, but there are quite a few new fans and those who love Cthulhu out there who might be diving into the IP at this point. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty More of the campaign for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is out there, to get us out of a traffic jam in Call Of Duty It feels a bit weird to go with it, but it does look as if Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is going to have its campaign slowly placed on display for us all as we wait for October 16th to hit us all. What we thought was going to be a little taste before Infinity Ward dropped a bigger look at the story mode for the game looks like it is how they are going to feed the Call of Duty fans. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We made it through another fun week, and had so many more video games release and get some big updates. Even if titles like Grand Theft Auto VI and God Of War Laufey had very little to add to the title for now, it was still a massive week for us all. Not to mention that we had a little more wrap-up from SDCC 2026, and one more of the mazes that we can expect to try to game our way through for Halloween Horror Nights. Sure, some of those are not video games, but they are interactive experiences. Read More...

God Of War Laufey Has A Bit More To Learn Out Of SDCC 2026
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War We have the full God Of War Laufey panel out of SDCC this year, and we get the release date for God Of War Laufey out of it all It was reported early on that we were going to have a bit of a panel out there at SDCC for God Of War Laufey. One that was supposed to give us a bunch to look forward to for the game, and to help Santa Monica Studio help to get us all onboard again with the PS5 and what PlayStation has been doing. Well, they all took the stage, and it was a packed house out there at SDCC 2026, and there were a lot who did not get to experience it. Thankfully, they chose to record the full panel out there to let all fans see what is on the way for God Of War Laufey. Read More...

Call Of Duty The upcoming campaign for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming a bit early for those who pre-order this Call Of Duty It is still yet to be seen how Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is going to handle the campaign mode for those of us who enjoy that more than anything in these games. Become A New Legend In The Grander Story Of Star Wars: Galactic Racer
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 11th of June 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars We are going to get to become a new legend in the Star Wars if we are able to speed our way to the end of Star Wars: Galactic Racer If you thought that Star Wars: Galactic Racer was just going to be all racing and no story, well, you're going to be shown why you are wrong about all of that. It does look as if Fuse Games and Secret Mode have opted to make sure this is not just a game about racing, but something that will add to the overall story and lore of the universe. Maybe not in a way that will change the future of the IP, but in a way to make the races worth more of our time, as well as give us a reason to keep driving in circles. Read More...
