In an interview with Mad Catz during EVO 2014 Ed Boon spoke about the possibility of guest character DLC for Mortal Kombat X It seems a bit odd to be speaking of guest characters for Mortal Kombat X when we only had the game's seventh main character announced during EVO here recently. A new gameplay trailer for There Came An Echo shows off the voice commands in the War Room mode of the game Who needs the Kinect or the PS Camera when you can control every aspect of a game with your voice like in There Came An Echo? During EVO 2014 in Las Vegas, NV it was revealed that Raiden will be a fighter in Mortal Kombat X Now we can take the fighter count to at least seven for Mortal Kombat X as Raiden has been confirmed to be coming back to the franchise. Not that big of a shocker (pun intended) as Raiden has been an iconic character much like Scorpion and Sub Zero have been over the last umpteen incarnations of the franchise lore. Turtle Rock Studios and 2K have released the files to allow us to 3D print the characters and monsters from Evolve I knew it would be only a matter of time before something like what is now available from Evolve would happen. We are now able to get the in-game models to 3D print to our heart's content so we can recreate our own loved hunts in the comfort of our own homes. That doesn't sound completely 'right' to me. The trailer for The Wolf Among Us' season finale has been released with the dates for us to bring the story to its conclusion Here we go with the ending of the first season of The Wolf Among Us. We have a new trailer for the episode and this time there is no waiting for the release dates as it looks like Telltale just figured that they should release everything all at the same time unlike the many times before. It does seem a bit odd that this episode is coming out before the next episode for The Walking Dead but at least we can see what happens in Fabletown now that 'war' has been declared by the better characters against the weaker. HEXO+, a Kickstarted camera accessory, has been funded and it looks like it is making that Razer April Fools' joke happen If you remember back in April, Razer made a joke about a drone that would film all of your life events and even make you feel like you were in a video game. That was the joke but it looks like with the HEXO+ Kickstarter almost reaching its last stretch goal with 15 days to go, we are getting just that device. While the HEXO+ wasn't originally designed for that purpose the first two stretch goals would allow for just that; a live video playback on your phone and the ability to set up specific angles. Recently Chris Ashton from Turtle Rock Studios revealed that there will be a single-player campaign in Evolve It would seem that I was a bit confused before when it came to Evolve and the play modes of the game. I was under the impression that it was a multiplayer experience through and through. Looks like I was wrong as Turtle Rock has only focused on showing the multiplayer aspect of Evolve and kind of pushed the solo play to the side lines. Eminence: Xander's Tales is a new MMORPG/TCG is coming that will bring back the fun of Triple Triad and then some If there is one thing I loved about Final Fantasy 8 it was Triple Triad and it looks like it is making a comeback with Eminence: Xander's Tales. Yep, the best feature of one game is becoming the sole mechanic behind another game, at least in a close enough way that there shouldn't be any legal battles; hopefully. It's not like Aeterna Studios is using any of the assets here, just some of the basic mechanics to fuel the gameplay along to hopefully give us a story as it is also slated as a MMORPG. While At E3 I Got To See The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I was lucky enough to see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at E3 2013 and again this was one of the titles I was able to close out E3 2014 with. This time around CD Projekt Red had another year to build and expand on everything in the game. You should have seen some of it if you watched one of the press conferences online or in person. Hearing that I would be able to play it at E3 got me excited as all of the trailers and gameplay footage up until now has had me extremely interested. So I made the trek over to the 2K booth and settled in to see how the game plays and if Evolve can live up to the hype that I have seen flung around for it.
