Over the weekend at PAX Prime Ubisoft showed off a new game play demo of Splinter Cell Blacklist. The demo was the same mission from E3 but this time it was a stealth play through. Ubisoft wanted to prove that you can still play through Blacklist using stealth like you played through every other game. In 2006 Nintendo released the Wii which was the successor to the GameCube. The Wii had huge success in both China and North America. The Wii quickly outsold the PS3 and the XBox 360 at its low price point of $249.99 at launch. After 6 years Nintendo is planning to release their new console the Wii U sometime this year. Ubisoft has released a new trailer outlining the ways you may survive on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3. The trailer shows some pretty crazy stuff such as exploring ancient temples and fighting off tigers and other wild animals. The trailer also sheds some light on the story and characters. It seems like there is a native tribe on the island lead by a women named Citra that will help main character Jason Brody survive the many dangers on the island. Her brother Vaas was also mentioned in the trailer but not much was revealed about him. Since Borderlands 2 is coming out in just over a few weeks, I felt it would be good to give you guys the low down and all the info that we know about Borderlands 2. So about two weeks ago we were given a look at Assassin's Creed III's Naval Combat, but we didn't get many details on what is going on and what we will get to control. More or less it was a showing that just further confirmed what was announced at E3. If you venture a little bit lower here, you will see a similar video as before, only this time with a little bit of explanation. I do mean little though. Have you ever missed out on a hot new release game because you didn’t own the right console? It has probably happened to all of us one time or another due to a console exclusive. Console exclusives act as an ace in the hole for most companies when they market a console. This is a very common trend in the game industry that hurts not only the consumer but also the developers. By only releasing on one console its locks out the other half of gamers who only may own one console and limits the sale margin for said game. Today Blizzard has finally released the cinematic trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft called "Mists of Pandaria." The cinematic features a lot of mist and some good old fashioned fighting. Not to mention a little naval battle that is pretty cool. Mists of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012. We've heard and seen a bit about Naval Warfare in Assassin's Creed III. We know it's going to be a feature in the game. With the below trailer from Gamescom we get, pretty much the exact same thing just with a bit more game play footage for the game. You'd think that there would be at least a few more details given here seeing as the game is so close to launch, but I guess not. But hey, who's going to look a bit more game play in a bad way? It seems like Epic Games is going all out as of recently with their announcement of their new studio "Impossible Studios" based out of Hunt Valley, Maryland. Impossible Studios is "A company comprised of highly skilled, senior level game development talent." - Epic Games Founded in June, Impossible Studios will definitely be bringing the heat. Sean Dunn (The studio director) is the flag bearer for Impossible Studios as they charge forward into the ever-present war zone that is the gaming industry.
