by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of August 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Midnight Suns The Scarlet Witch is here to join the Midnight Suns to help control the universe in Marvel’s Midnight Suns The Witch is coming to us all for Marvel’s Midnight Suns with the reveal of the Scarlet Witch as she enters in to try to help end the advancement of Lilith out there. Another new character coming to the list that feels right at home with it all from Firaxis Games with the supernatural side of things. Even if they have to bring her down many, many pegs to make her fit in with the rest of the heroes on the Midnight Suns team. Just like so many others that could just end the game once it lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

The Mortuary Assistant We sit down and review The Mortuary Assistant. A new simulation title that is not all that it seems. Here is our review of The Mortuary Assistant It feels like we have been getting a whole slew of simulation style games and job-sims in the industry, and now we get to add one more with The Mortuary Assistant. The latest title to hit the PC from DarkStone Digital and DreadXP, only that this one also goes a bit further than just being a job simulation game. In fact, The Mortuary Assistant aims to give us all of those basic motions while adding even more horror to the job at hand. Read More...

Evil Dead: The Game Will Be Bringing Forth A New Plaguebringer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Evil Dead A new demon is coming for Evil Dead: The Game and it is another from the long history of the Evil Dead IP A new class of demon is on the way to us for Evil Dead: The Game next month in addition to Mia, which we had confirmed last week. You should take note that it says new class and not just a new skin with this demon, presumably, bringing a few new game elements in from Boss Team Games and further the evolution of the matches. Even though it is hard to tell from the basic announcement on just what we are going to get, the name Plaguebringer and what we can scrape from the past Evil Dead films, could point us closer to what we are about to get. All of which is something that looks like they will be perfectly fine roaming the Castle Kandar location we have been enjoying for a while now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/15/22 — 8/19/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap once more. The week has flown by once more and we had so many video games out there to cover and so many more to come. Even if we did not get many massive releases this week, we did have more for Destroy All Humans! 2, God Of War: Ragnarök, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns to carry us onward here. Not only that, but Raymond also gave us a great recap of SDCC 2022 and how it all sized up for a first-time con-goer. Read More...

A Plague Tale: Requiem Asks How Far We Will Go To Save Loved Ones
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of August 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale More gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem is here to expand further on the new mechanics coming to A Plague Tale The gameplay keeps on rolling out there for A Plague Tale: Requiem but this time, we get a bit more of the finer details as to what is going on now. Much of it all has been speculation based on what Asobo Studio has dropped out there for us all and with October 18th rushing up on us, it is nice to finally get some validation to some of the new changes. That is what we have here for the new video for A Plague Tale: Requiem even if there are more broad strokes over it all still, but this time it feels like it is to keep the wonder and mystery of the game hidden and not to obfuscate anything else. It is now time to get fully ready for the game to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Evil West Is Going To Be Missing Its Target Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Evil West A delay has hit Evil West and we will now have to wait until November to get to experience the Evil West out there Well, this is a bit awkward after getting what we did for Evil West last week. It looks like we will no longer be seeing the game on September 20th now. In fact, it looks like Flying Wild Hog is going to miss the whole spooky season for the game now with the latest delay pushing it out a bit more. Not out until 2023, thankfully, but now Evil West will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 11th of this year. Not a massive delay but one that will be felt by so many gamers that were amped up for this title. Read More...

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 — It’s A Hell Of A Thing
by Raymond Bruels [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
SDCC This Is A Survivor’s Tale To My San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Experience & Just How SDCC Went Down For Me After five days and over forty miles of walking, I really needed to rest and reflect on my San Diego Comic-Con excursion. As mentioned in my introduction to SDCC 2022 article, this is my first year attending. Despite the countless hours reading posts on Facebook, skimming hundreds of images from past conventions, and grilling my Chief Editor on how various elements worked I can safely say it was not enough preparation. Honestly, I think that is part of the awe and grandeur of SDCC, not knowing just what you are really walking into. Read More...

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Is Welcoming The Scarlet Witch Into The Team
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Midnight Suns The next character on deck for the Midnight Suns is ready to tease us all with the next big Marvel’s Midnight Suns update It is time to see just what the Scarlet Witch is capable of in the next character teaser for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Just as we always have been getting around this time of the week as we wait for Firaxis Games to get the game packaged up and ready for us again. Thankfully, it is another of the supernatural kind of characters in the mix and not some that are just being conscripted onto the Midnight Suns roster due to the zeitgeist popularity at the moment outside of the game. Not to mention one of the few characters in the game that feels like they would be able to put a nail in the coffin for Lilith and the demonic hoards out there in the game's world. Read More...

Saints Row Will Have Us Be More Than A Street Gang In The Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Saints Row The story is starting to unfold for Saints Row as we have a new trailer that shows off the narrative we will play in Saints Row If you have played a Saints Row game in the past, you might know that most of the stories we have had are a little over-the-top. It is all about a street gang that seems to do things too well and set up a massive criminal empire. One, in the past, has led to one becoming president, fighting aliens, and getting into a musical with Satan. To say Saints Row has had some weird stories would be a bit of an understatement. Midnight Suns The next of the Midnight Suns is here for a showcase and show why he is the best at what he will do in Marvel’s Midnight Suns He was part of the tease last week and now we have a better look and understanding on how Wolverine will function in Marvel’s Midnight Suns when it eventually lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of which might feel about on point for the character, as Firaxis Games does have quite a bit of dark history to pull from for Wolverine. Even if this one is not all about the lore for him in Marvel’s Midnight Suns and more about how he will be the Tank that we all have been waiting for. Read More...
