Mass Effect The Movie

Well this news came sooner than I could ever realized. According to G4tv.com, Legendary Pictures just picked up the rights to make a feature film based on Mass Effect. As we speak they are in discussions with the screen writers from I Am Legend and Thor to produce the screenplay. Now you may be wondering who will be producing the film? You will be happy to know that BioWare's co-founder and VP, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, along with Mass Effect executive producer, Casey Hudson, will serve as executive producers for the film. The Beauty Of Final Fantasy XIV

Now I was not a big fan of Final Fantasy XI. Maybe it was the grind. Maybe it was the lack of people that I like to play with. Maybe it was the lower end graphics for the game. At least lower end to my high standards. Yes I am a graphics prima donna now. I have been spoiled by the "next gen" consoles and higher end PC graphics for too long. Well at least now due to online socializing and the below new screen captures of Final Fantasy XIV, it looks like two of the above three issues I had will be taken care of. Google Gets Pac-Mania

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Pac-Man, Google has done one of the coolest things with their logo in recent memory, transforming it into a playable stage of the classic game. Though I hesitate to think that this will be a trend and will lead to more video game related logos for Google, it's good to see that when they decide to introduce something gaming related they actually make it interactive and not static. You can start the game by "inserting a coin" or by waiting ten seconds before the game starts automatically. Pac-Man has been one of the constants of gaming since 1980, and was introduced when the more popular games of the time were space shooters like Asteroids. Read More...

What Is Singularity's Deadlock?

In case you were wondering the same thing the title is, let us answer that for you. It is the name of the time manipulation tool you get to use in the game. Well, that was an easy explanation. I guess I'll leave ya there. Or not. Below there is a better look at one of the functions of the device; A function that lets you place people or things into a "time bubble" to either kill or slow down. Dead Space Lets You Kill Babies Like Dante

Visceral Games just likes killing babies. Or at least that is how it seems from their games. First you get to slaughter the unbaptized ones in Dante's Inferno. Now, for the screens below, it looks like you get to kill "infected" babies in Dead Space 2. Infected and with Cthulhu growing out their back babies. Ok, well those ones need killing I guess... Review: Alan Wake

If you follow me at all on here it should be no surprise that I have not seen much of a difference between Alan Wake and Silent Hill. At least that's my opinion from the viewpoint of the screen shots, trailers and the most recent live action Bright Falls series. I mean, they look so very similar. If you don't think so, then you should have your brain examined. Well, I was just recently able to give Alan Wake a good play through. Lessons Learned: Record of Agarest War

Have you ever been excited for a game's release, and somehow found a way to ruin the game experience due to your own mistake? I guess in my case, it's more stupidity than a mistake. What I am about to recount is how I went from being in Heaven to dragging myself through Hell in a matter of 10 days. This is my story on how my attempt to review Record of Agarest War went sour and the lessons I learned. As a gamer that is very keen on the import scene, I had heard of Record of Agarest War when it was first released in Japan in late 2007. Bruce Willis Is All Over Kane An Lynch

Now correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this latest multiplayer mode for Kane and Lynch 2 look extremely close to the story of Die Hard With A Vengeance? Take a team down a section of a subway tunnel and through a hole you've made to steal money from a bank. Sounds pretty damn close, if you take out all the other mind games from the film. Looks like Bruce Willis is getting a small homage in the game for playing the balding Kane in the film version of the franchise. Or I could just be looking into this a bit more than is needed.
