Resident Evil 4 Is Getting Redone But In A New VR Setting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The Resident Evil 4 rumors were only partially true with the reveal that Resident Evil 4 VR is going to be a thing out there soon While we are still waiting for the release of the bigger title out there, we have been keeping an eye on the rumors for Resident Evil 4 too. Some of it seems like it stemmed from the way Capcom is using it to inspire Village but also some of it from little things spotted out in the wilds. We tried to brush it off as it all sounded like it was fan hopes and dreams for a new version of Resident Evil 4 or a remaster that has been all of the rage and well-received too. Now we are glad to say that we will be seeing the game redone but in a VR space of it all for the Oculus Quest as of right now. Read More...

So Many More Things Have Dropped Out There For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Fresh after the Resident Evil Showcase, we have new gameplay and modes announced for Resident Evil Village when it launches for us all It has been a little bit of time since the most recent Resident Evil Showcase we had last week, but we needed a bit to be able to take in everything that seemed to have dropped out of all of that. There was quite a bit and still much more that Capcom has under wraps until the May 7th release date but that does not mean we do not have a whole lot more to dive into. We just received a whole lot of new gameplay and story elements for Resident Evil Village and the various little spin-offs from that and we have word of a classic mode making its way back into it all. A New Release Window Is Set For The Forgotten City
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is now set to release this summer and it looks like The Forgotten City will also be hitting some new platforms too It feels like that time loop in The Forgotten City is going on in the real world at this point, with the game now getting a Summer release out there for us all. Those keeping a close eye on what Modern Storyteller was setting up would know that the original plan was to drop the game in the Winter of 2020. That has well come and gone with no one out there having the chance and time to play The Forgotten City now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/12/21 — 4/15/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is not fully over for most of the community out there, but we have to call it a short week here. It was a slow week, for the most part, and we had a few video games get the highlight but it did feel like slim pickings up until today with the Resident Evil showcase here. There was a bit more for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Returnal, but there have been more rumors and speculations out there more than anything. Granted, we are calling it early and we could see many video games drop out there late today and tomorrow, but I have a feeling it is going to be quiet for the rest of the week. Read More...

Resident Evil The Resident Evil showcase is about to air and you can join us in watching to see what new footage we will have for Resident Evil Village The time is almost here for the Resident Evil showcase that we had teased last week and a few little bits from Capcom already, but in a short time from this posting we will have it all. All to help build some hype before May 7th and the release of Resident Evil Village but it sounds like there could be a few other things in the mix too. My guess is that there will be some things for the coming shows and film in addition to the hype of the upcoming bigger title. Read More...

The House Of The Dead: Remake Is Coming To Horde Our Switches
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead The House Of The Dead: Remake is coming for the Switch and we have a little bit to show how its upgraded from the original House Of The Dead Here we go with another interesting twist of an announcement as The House Of The Dead: Remake is going to be a thing and it will be something that will be hitting the Switch when it does come out there. It seems a little odd to focus the effort on that platform for a title that can easily hit many different ones and maybe even a VR setting, but it is what we have from Megapixel Studio on this remake so far. I have a feeling with how House Of The Dead was before that Forever Entertainment might be looking to branch out, but this is the announcement we have for now out of the big showcase that Nintendo had recently. That just means that we still have time to get a few more teases and explanations out there from Square Enix as to what to expect and get hyped for here. All with the first little bit that this new episode for Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be called Episode INTERmission, which offers up all of its own new things to assume here for it all. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
WWE The announcement for WWE 2K22 is here to give all of those WWE one more glimmer of hope to the IP that has had a rough go lately After seeing last year's entry to the IP cancelled, we now have the official teaser for WWE 2K22 and that the game is coming. Okay, the whole of the IP was not cancelled last year by 2K but that game we did get was not the next in the line of titles that Visual Concepts has put out over the years. Now we have a whole new title to follow the yearly release announced right during one of the WWE's biggest events of the year. That would be WrestleMania for those that clicked in on this by accident. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week is finally over and it was weirdly a little light on the massive news for the video games out there, but there was still a whole lot out there. Mostly in the good news out there with more to look for with Resident Evil Village and Erica to enjoy. We did get to see video games like Deathloop get a delay too. As I said, it was a little all over the place with news but we do have Oddworld: Soulstorm and Destroy All Humans! Read More...

New Teases & Gameplay Is On The Way For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A tease for the next Resident Evil Showcase is here to give us just a little more for Resident Evil Village before next week It may not be a massive update but it is a bit of an update for Resident Evil Village with things set down for the next big showcase. Sadly, this is an announcement for an announcement that Capcom and others like to do, but it does give us something to look forward to for next week. Those things being some new gameplay for Resident Evil Village and the continuing beta for the RE:Verse part that is currently firing off. I have a feeling we will have more from the Beta than in the actual showcase, but we will know for certain on April 15th when this all kicks off at 3 pm PST. Read More...
