Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision
Blizzard, spoke with CNBC last week while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
During the interview in which he discussed several economic points regarding
the video game industry, Kotick made mention of the fact that he company is
working on a title called DJ Hero.
"We have the product called DJ
Hero that's coming out later this year which is a turntable that you can
actually play competitively and spin discs and mix songs."
FreeStyleGames, was purchased by
Activision on September 12, 2008 to help produce downloadable content for games
in the Guitar Hero series and are set to develop the game.
