Some people like making playlists based on what they are going to be doing. A hardcore or upbeat one for working out or funerals. A soft and romantic one for laying down their pimp/pimpess game. Even an All Rise list to get psyched for going out on the town. So what would the so called Warriors of Rock set up for them to go slay the beast and free the God of Rock? Apparently this nice little 93 track set ranging from Atreyu to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Guitar Hero's Quest To Make Things Easier

There has always been a huge division between Rock Band and Guitar Hero. For me it was the difficulty factor for each and not completely about the sound tracks or "story" of the career mode. For a while it was Guitar Hero that was hard just to be hard and Rock Band with some form of a story mode - at least when it comes to the off shoots. That was until I started playing Guitar Hero 5 and found that the difficulty has been toned WAY down; mainly in the way of lenience on the precision of button timing. I have played so many songs on expert and have been able to hit notes I should have never been physically able to hit do to timing and finger placement. Read More...

Guitar Hero Ready To Play Sets

In the past with rhythm/music when it was time to inform the masses of the track lists usually we just got a long list of songs and artists for us all to gawk at. Sometimes Gods like me would go through the list and try to add a link to the song so you knew what it sounded like. Sometimes the titles don't really go with the part of the song we all know. After the reveal for Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock and the awesome new tracks, you may be thinking it may have been after E3 that we would hear or see anything further about this next Guitar Hero installment. Well since you are reading this, it is obvious that is not the case. There are still no further details on the game itself, but we do have a look at the next set of plastic guitars we will all be forced to pick up for Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock. Although forced might be a little harsh to say after looking at the new redesigns. For all of you who think you don't have enough undersized plastic guitars littering your dorm rooms, publisher Activision and developer Neversoft (previously of Tony Hawk fame) have announced the 6th major installment of its flagship Guitar Hero franchise. MGC Rolls Big In Vegas

Since the Wii has come to market and the need for keeping those WiiMotes charged and useable has been a concern for hardcore gamers. So then the rechargeable AA batteries got pulled back out and WiiMote specific chargers began to get pumped onto the scene. Some were good. Some just horrid. But they all kept things working as long as it was just the WiiMote you had and nothing else. Not even the gel jacket to protect TV's around the world. These chargers were workable as long as you didn't care taking the extra time to slide out and disassemble everything to charge the batteries or swap in new ones. Read More...

Activision Releases Full Track Listing for Band Hero

Activision Releases More Track Lists for Band Hero

There comes a time when you realize there are certain products are just not for your demographic anymore. Maybe it was when you were hitting puberty and realized that while you may still like Saturday morning cartoons, the commercials annoyed you rather than interested. Or perhaps you tried to watch The Tonight Show before Jay Leno was replaced and realized every joke was for the geriatric crowd. Reading today's press release from Activision really demonstrated to me that while I may enjoy rhythm games, Band Hero is not being marketed to me.
