Look Into The Face Of Madness With New Hellblade Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A bit of new gameplay for Hellblade has made its way online in the form of B-Roll footage but it does show off a few things for Hellblade Gamescom may be over now but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep looking for more news to come out and thus is the case for Hellblade. It looks like some of the B-Roll footage for the game that will be used for all of the "preferred media's" video spotlights for Hellblade has been "leaked" online and then officially posted by Ninja Theory to make sure we all saw this PS4 beauty showing off the elegance of madness. Remember this is what Hellblade is about to some degree as well as mixing in Celtic Mythologies and stories to give us more than a lecture on insanity. That being the other major theme for Hellblade if you know your game history here. Read More...

Homefront: The Revolution Lives On & We Have More Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
At Gamescom 2015 Homefront: The Revolution made its first major showing since E3 2014 and it looks like Homefront is in the right hands still The last major update we had for Homefront: The Revolution was that it was being delayed until spring of 2016 and that was after almost a whole year of silence while it was being developed on. This could have been because the developer changed over to Dambuster Studios in the madness going on around Homefront at the time but still that was the last we heard. I though it a good thing but many others thought that it spelled out that Deep Silver may have been canceling Homefront: The Revolution and it would never see our PS4, Xbox One, or PC at all. All Kinds Of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Multiplayer Explained
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Another long demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from Gamescom 2015 has been shown off and it explains more on Mother Base and the FOB multiplayer aspect of The Phantom Pain Get ready for a nice long Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain session here today as we have even more gameplay and trailers for the game to sink our eyes into right from Gamescom. With under a month left until the game hits the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st and given all of the footage we've seen up until now you would think that Konami would hold back to give us something to experience firsthand in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but thus is not the case. What is also not the case is that even though we have another 30+ minutes of gameplay to spy on it still feels like Kojima Productions has a lot more added into The Phantom Pain that we haven't seen just yet as well. Rise Of The Tomb Raider Looks More Like A Stealth Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay footage for Rise Of The Tomb Raider was shown at Gamescom and it looks like there will be a whole lot more stealth action than remembered in any Tomb Raider title before Another non-shocking title to be shown off today for Microsoft's press event at Gamescom was Rise Of The Tomb Raider. They are so proud to be getting Crystal Dynamics' title to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One first that of course they want to show off all the cool things those gamers will get before the PS4 and PC crowds. Can't fault them for that. Read More...

This Is How Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Is A British Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary of sorts for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released and details out how Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is a very British Apocalypse Well Everybody's Gone To The Rapture hits the PS4 in a few weeks on August 11th. We've seen some good things for it up until now and it looks like The Chinese Room has created an amazing experience in storytelling with the game. I have yet to play any part of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture but I have seen so many little videos and explanations that I feel that I get what the game is going for and what we all will most likely experience; even if Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is not an apocalypse story that was designed for someone with my background. That background being not having grown up in a rural town in the British Isles. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape Was Back At SDCC Giving All Of Us A Feel For What A Survival Horror Game Really Feels Like Another SDCC down and another fun run of The Walking Dead Escape to show us all how a survival horror kind of game could be like in the real world. If this is your first time reading about The Walking Dead Escape this would be the zombie obstacle course that has been set up out in San Diego's Petco Park for the fourth year running. Pun intended. The quick breakdown, if you don't want to read our original write up, is that you get grouped together with a small group of other "Runners" and then set loose to get from one end of a set up obstacle course to the other all while a group of other paid participants dressed as the "Walkers" try to corner you and end your life. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The rumors have been confirmed as it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider will have a PC and a PS4 release date in 2016 It looks like all those prayers worked everyone as Rise Of The Tomb Raider is now officially heading to the PS4 and PC. That's great news for everyone except the PS3 owners. The bad news in this is that it will be another year before Crystal Dynamics will be able to get Rise Of The Tomb Raider off the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as both versions are slated for a 2016 release window. The PC version getting an "Early 2016" and the PS4 version getting a "Holiday 2016" timeline. The final character for the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack has been released as Tremor is now playable in Mortal Kombat X as of today Today is the day as all of those who purchased the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat X will now get their final character and DLC for the game in the way of Tremor. NetherRealm showed Tremor off at EVO over the weekend and we had a nice gameplay trailer for the character but there wasn't a good breakdown of the variations to the character just yet. That is of course until the most recent Kombat Kast where the team showed Tremor in use for Mortal Kombat X and all of his variations. One of which is something completely new to the game and it adds a great variant to the core gameplay of Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Review — The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. Is It Worth Your Time? Did it upgrade to the new engine and platform well? Here's Our Review of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter Originally The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter came out on the PC last year using the Unreal 3 Engine to extremely decent reviews. It is an interesting indie story game from The Astronauts that is more of an exploration experience and puzzle solving thing than anything you may think given the trailers but a game none the less. The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter was well received none the less and this drove the team to upgrade the game to Unreal 4 engine as well as bring it to the PS4. Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Catch A Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Catch A Ride. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It is a long cycle for new episodes of Tales From The Borderlands to be released but we've had the third episode of the series released and I've finally had the time to sit down and give the extra story bit a play through. I mean the second episode of Tales From The Borderlands landed in March and this one landed near the end of June. At least there wasn't a delay between all of the platforms here and everyone who has a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Gaming PC were able to play through the next bit. Read More...

Flow Through History With Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Our first look at Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey even though it has been talked about for a few months now and we feel bad Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey wasn't on the radar I always feel lost and late to the game when little things like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey falls through the cracks in the mix of other huge titles talked about and released. You most likely missed out on this as well given the fact that there wasn't more than a base concept talked about from developer Panache Digital Games. That and when not many things are fully shown or talked about Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey in a word of required visuals it slips very easily. Read More...
