Friday The 13th During PAX East it was teased that Friday The 13th: The Game was changing up Jason's fourth ability to fit in line with Friday The 13th lore, and here it is One of the things a lot of people noticed during the Friday The 13th: The Game panel during PAX was that there was a new ability for Jason that had yet to be shown off and was different than what was in the beta test. People pointed it out and as is normal, Gun Media and Illfonic made note of it but then gave no new information of hints to it all. Prey A new showcasing of Prey's different weapons and powers is here to show you the stuff we have yet to see for Prey so far We've seen a whole lot of the weapons and powers for Prey so far but it has seemed a bit limited. I assumed that was due to the fact that Arkane Studios wanted to keep a lot of it under wraps until May 5th when we'll all be playing the game on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Looks like I was wrong. Not in the aspect that we have seen it all already, but in the fact that Bethesda has brought us one more video here for Prey that showcases more of the powers and weapons in the game that we will be using. Friday The 13th New shot of Friday The 13th's counselors has been placed out there to give us a feel for who we will play in Friday The 13th that's not Jason It's been a wait but here we go with Friday The 13th: The Game getting some more time in the sun. No, we don't have a release date for everyone out there as it is still set for Early 2017, but what we do have is a look at all of the counselors in the game that Illfonic and Gun Media have crafted side-by-side. All ten of our victims counselors are no present for Friday The 13th and all filling their specific roles that have been placed out there for them. The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's third episode has finally been released as soon we can see how this part of The Walking Dead plays out Last week we had a nice little tease for the third episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It showed off a nice little bit of what we could expect in this episode but also looked like it was very focused on the pre-end history of Javier's and little more than that. This week it looks like Telltale Games has given us all the launch trailer for the episode, it still launches on March 28th though, and it definitely goes down a path a bit of a different path than previously thought; all of which in a good way. Prey A new developer diary for Prey is out and it dives right into Prey's protagonist, who they are and why they are going through the hell that they do in the game By now we all know that we will be playing our own version of Morgan Yu in Prey so we can be fully immersed. Arkane Studios has given us the option to play as male or female in the game and all without sacrificing any of the story for one or the other. Pretty nice even though Prey is a FPS and we'll only really see the character's hands in this regard, but there are a few scenes and tidbits that will show off the gender. You know, because this is something that is truly needed to be a focus instead of just telling an amazing story. Read More...

Injustice 2 The third Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it places Super Girl at odds with Injustice 2's other heroes even further Here we go with our third installment of the Shattered Alliances trailers for Injustice 2 and this one is all about Super Girl and her role in the epic fight(s) that are to come. It even looks like we are going to be getting a few call backs to the House Of El's past here from NetherRealm Studios based on this trailer which I hope will point to the bigger bad guy that has yet to have much focus; Brainiac. He's in Injustice 2 and affects the whole story somehow, but as it seems right now it has all been about the heroes of the DC universe dealing with the aftermath of the first Injustice story. An official Injustice 2 gameplay trailer for Cheetah has been released and now we can see just how she will play in Injustice 2 if we learn well We've seen Cheetah a few times before for Injustice 2 already, but now we get to see her in full action and not some of the slower gameplay used to show off her moves and specials as we've seen. Those videos and streams from NetherRealm Studios, while informative, can be a little on the slower side for characters like Cheetah how look to be very fast-paced when all is said and done. Evil Within 2 Rumors have started that The Evil Within 2 is in development based on a recent job posting for Q/A to work on The Evil Within 2 or Psycho Break 2 in Japan The rumor mill is churning as it looks like hints that The Evil Within 2, or Psycho Break 2 if you wish, is currently in development and at the point where they are looking for QA people. At least this is all to be believed from a recent, unconfirmed, private job listing over there for Tango Gameworks that has found its way online and then screen captured for all to see. The bigger thing giving this new rumor for The Evil Within 2 much of its merit currently is that Bethesda has already teased some big titles for the year and that Tango has claimed it wanted to make this a franchise and not just a one-off title. The Surge The final release date for The Surge has been set and with it we have another fun CG video for The Surge to celebrate and get us amped up even more It looks like today is the day that we change The Surge's May release date into a solid May 16th release date as it has now been set for us. This was about when I figured that Deck 13 would be looking to release the game, but now it is confirmed and those waiting to give it a good play can now try to shuffle their schedules around to fit it in. There are already a few other great titles listed as launching on the same day, but all in different gameplay styles than The Surge so now you will have options and yet another title to put in when you need to break up the flow or monotony of the others out there. Injustice 2 We have some new information on Injustice 2's Source Crystals and what they do as well as a good look at Injustice 2's version of Firestorm now We are back again with more Injustice 2 new and updates and while this isn't anything in lines with a new character reveal, we do have a new look at just how character customization and Source Crystals will work in the game. Source Crystal being the in-game currency for those who want to make their specific characters have a look and feel other than what NetherRealm Studios has provided out the gate. Prey Have a look at three of Prey's Typhon aliens in action along with how they may function in Prey and how we will be able to handle them in the long run We've seen them a bit already in Prey but now it looks like it is time to have a better breakdown of the alien creatures, known as Typhon, for the game. Well, at least three of them for now even though we see four in the list, but maybe that was just Arkane Studios suggesting that one is really just the "cocoon" of sorts to build to the others. System Shock 3 A new publisher has joined to help System Shock 3 finally come to fruition after System Shock 3 was first confirmed back in 2015 with little else Maybe you remember back in December of 2015 when we finally had word that System Shock 3 was officially in the works or maybe you don't.
