PlayStation A new video has been released showing off some PlayStation exclusive titles coming in 2017 and maybe some PlayStation titles that should have been listed The year has just started and the video game releases will soon be upon us for all platforms from PlayStation to the many forms of PC. The Steam Awards The winners of The Steam Awards have been announced with all of The Steam Awards winners being selected by users for the first time ever Here we go with the start of the new year with The Steam Awards first ever announced winners. While many other outlets and award shows were going on well before the end of the year, it looks like there was one that waited right up to December 31st to be able to give all games a chance. At least those that released on PC via Steam as The Steam Awards were all selected by the users during the big Steam Winter Sale and not some hand-picked panel of judges. Prey In a recent interview for Prey it was revealed that Prey could end up being a new horror game based on how the AI works with its abilities Up to now Prey has been generally shown off as a nice action filled space adventure, of sorts, but since a recent interview on how some of the creatures react in the game it looks like Arkane Studios may have also made a horror game in the mix. At least if the AI of the game has anything to say about it as it looks like those Mimics in the game are not going to be scripted events but all how the game will react at will. Here's our thought on where Friday The 13th currently is The beta for Friday The 13th: The Game has come and it has gone. A lot of gamers out there had a chance to check out the game that they helped pay Gun Media and Illfonic to build for them and in cases like ours, we also had a chance to share some of the gameplay from the beta for you all. Robinson It has just been announced that Robinson: The Journey will be making the jump from PSVR to Oculus so more can enjoy Robinson: The Journey out there Maybe you've had a chance to give Robinson: The Journey a try out when it hit the PS VR system or you were one of the gamers who were hoping for it to leap from the PS4 to another platform. While it originally looked like Crytek was going to make us all wait and only have the chance to experience it all in one place. Well now it looks like the best part of game development has stuck again as Robinson: The Journey will be expanding to the PC and be available on the Oculus Rift sometime in January of Next year. Hellblade The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been gifted to us and we get to see just how Hellblade's Senua came into being Life is always full of interesting twists and it looks like the development of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is also another shining example of just that. At least that is the takeaway from the most recent developer diary Ninja Theory has given us all just before taking a well-deserved break for the end of the year. While it may not have much in terms of the gameplay for Hellblade, it is filled with an awesome story on just how we ended up with a version of Senua in the game that may have never been had it not been for some of those aforementioned twists spoken of earlier. Injustice 2 A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. King's Quest A new episode for King's Quest has been released for all who happened to own the full season of King's Quest with very little notice given at all Here we go with yet another odd holiday gift, and seemingly out of nowhere, but a new episode of King's Quest has been released this week to those who have been playing close attention to the title the whole time. It looks like The Odd Gentlemen have given us one more episode in terms of an epilogue to the whole story and did so with nothing more than a mere tweet out there. Seems kind of strange to not boast this in any other form, especially given how Sierra Entertainment has been with King's Quest since they first brought it out so long ago, but none the less we have it and it is currently out there to download and hopefully enjoy.
